July 2: compost tea in morning and sunny all day adds up to a big vegetative growth day. Only 2-3 weeks until I have to start force flowering.

Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.

Was vor einigen Wochen als Experiment mit drei einzelnen Pflanzen begann, fühlt sich inzwischen wie eine einzige, perfekt zusammengewachsene Apricot an. Jeder Blick auf den Stamm erinnert mich daran, wie viel Vertrauen ich in dieses Training gesetzt habe. Drei Pflanzen wurden zu einer Einheit verbunden – und heute versorgen sie sich gegenseitig, als wären sie schon immer ein einziger Organismus gewesen. Genau solche Momente machen Homegrowing für mich so faszinierend. In dieser Woche hat sich der Fokus endgültig auf die Blütenbildung verlagert. Fast jeder Trieb produziert inzwischen kompakte Buds, die von Tag zu Tag dichter werden. Gleichzeitig beginnt sich eine schöne Schicht aus Trichomen über die Sugar Leaves zu legen und verleiht den Blüten bereits jetzt einen frostigen Schimmer. Besonders im Morgenlicht sieht man, wie die ersten Harzkristalle langsam das Licht reflektieren. Die Struktur der Pflanze gefällt mir inzwischen ausgesprochen gut. Durch das frühe Training gelangt das Sonnenlicht nahezu an jeden Budsite, wodurch sich die gesamte Pflanze sehr gleichmäßig entwickelt. Genau das war das Ziel dieses Projekts – keine dominante Hauptcola, sondern viele kräftige Blüten, die sich gemeinsam entwickeln. Natürlich zeigen die unteren Blätter inzwischen erste Alterserscheinungen, was in diesem Stadium völlig normal ist. Die Pflanze steckt ihre gesamte Energie inzwischen sichtbar in die Blütenproduktion. Genau dort soll sie jetzt auch investieren. Ich bin unglaublich gespannt, wie sich die Buds in den nächsten Wochen noch verdichten werden. Das Fundament ist gelegt – jetzt beginnt die Phase, in der Gewicht, Harzproduktion und Aroma Woche für Woche deutlich zulegen dürften. Jede Woche erzählt ihre eigene Geschichte. Woche 11 fühlt sich an wie der Moment, in dem aus einer spannenden Idee langsam Realität wird. What started a few weeks ago as an experiment with three individual plants now truly feels like a single Apricot growing as one. Every time I look at the main stem, I'm reminded of how much trust I put into this training technique. Three separate plants were carefully connected, and today they support each other as if they had always been one organism. Moments like this are exactly why I love growing so much. This week the plant has fully shifted its energy into flower production. Nearly every branch is carrying developing buds that continue to gain size and density every day. At the same time, the sugar leaves are becoming increasingly covered in sparkling trichomes, giving the flowers that beautiful frosty appearance. Especially in the morning sunlight, the resin glands are already starting to catch the light. I'm really happy with the overall structure. Thanks to the early training, sunlight reaches almost every flowering site, allowing the entire canopy to develop evenly. That was the goal from the beginning—not one oversized main cola, but many strong flowers growing together across the whole plant. Some of the older lower leaves are naturally beginning to fade, which is completely expected at this stage. The plant is clearly redirecting its energy into flower production, exactly where I want it to be. I'm incredibly excited to watch the next few weeks unfold. The foundation has been built, and now comes the stage where density, resin production, aroma and overall flower quality should improve dramatically week after week. She’s starting to produce trichomes all around. This week will be the last feeding and then she will be flushed until harvest. Slight defoliation when needed.

Added Buddy into the feed halfway through this week. Really impressed with these nutrients so far. All plants look happy, healthy and green. This plant is at the back of the timelapses.

Day 122 Flower 59 Remaining 16!??! so close to flush!!!! OK so I think everything is going great! I'm guessing/ hoping the yellowing leaves is just the plant nearing the end. Though why is just the one plant starting to yellow already? Had to use about 12 yo yo's to help the leaning buds. Some of these poor branches are barely holding on under the weight hahaha Gonna get a little 24x24x48 drying tent. I'll move the carbon filter there for a couple weeks. wont need it in the big tent for a few days. Hope I'm not forgetting anything here. I'll go over the comments I'm sure its in there, but if its not, how do I know when to start the flush??! and do you only give water? I use RO, do you check the PH and adjust that and thats it? You can see in a couple pics the plant on the right is much shorter and the colas are all rounded. weird. My plan for harvest. was planning on using that drying tent...... with a osculating fan at the bottom? or not needed? At harvest I was gonna cut off branch, trim the fan leaves only then hang upside down in the tent. trimming the sugar leaves after drying before curing. All G??

May 23 Day 22: transplant day. Soaked peat pot briefly before tearing off the bottom and some of the side and then planting a bit high in the soil level. Regular water misting to compensate for very low humidity that we get here. May 26 Day 25: made a lazy compost tea today. Started at 8 am using 5 gallon pail filled with water and some compost, coco coir, Monster Maxx, molasses, and a tsp each of Extreme Blend and Soluble seaweed extract. In other words, good stuff that I had around. Called it ready after only 8 hours just cuz. Watered all my yard including around the edges of the cannabis grow bags. May 27: foliar spray in morning with Extreme Blend. Good stuff and highly recommended. Also misting leaves periodically with water sprayer to make up for low humidity here. May 28: watered with some fish fertilizer dregs left from last year.

Removed some fan leafs and the buds starting to explode. This lush young plant stands proud with vibrant green leaves, a testament to its great genetics. The plant is thriving under optimal nutrient uptake, its buds already beginning to form and swell with promise of a bountiful harvest of top-quality buds. This young lady is growing with a blissful ease and a resilient growth. Ample space to improve on my next run 🙏

So I took a vacation over Christmas so lost a few weeks. I'm currently at 2 wks into flower. The branches became too strong to be weighed down so I switched tactics and threw a net over her to scrog while she stretched in her transition. This works superbly and filled out the remaining space nicely. I'm leaving for this week while she's still stretching before I get in there with my scissors, it looks bushy and messy, but there are tops a plenty and the plant structure is super strong which was my intention from the outset. I'm position the tops daily to guide them. I will prune to next to nothing to get the bud sites exposed and I want full canopy penetration so I don't want too many colas fighting for position. Next week will require more concentration and skill. Oh fuck then lol...

Vegetation Day 18 Die Steckies gedeihen prächtig mit den Athena Blended line Nähestoffen auf Coco/perlite70/30. Sie sind alle kerngesund und die Triebe sprießen aus allen Richtungen nach dem Toppen. Heute wurden unnötige Fächerblätter entfernt ,welche die unteren Triebe bedeckt haben (Defoliert). In den nächsten 3-4 Tagen werden die Pflanzen in die Netze geflechtet und dann kommen wir der Blütenzeit immer näher. I took a ton of pictures this week. This plant is beautiful! The amount of crystals that she has produced in the last week is crazy. Overall the plant does't seem to be stretching much at all, and I hope that it doesn't seem too be too small.Considering this is a 10 week flower, I'm hoping that it should be a bit smaller than other plants that i'm seeing on here. The smell has really increased this week. Just entering the room now you know that someone is growing in there. I do have a carbon filter going, but the smell seems to be coming more from the walls of the tent. Since this is my first grow, everything here is pretty cheap. Eventually I’ll upgrade to higher quality items. I’m worrying that I’m watering wrong. Each week I water twice. Once with nutrients and once later in the week with just water. 4 liters of water each time. And giving all of the nutrients in that one feeding of 4l of water. Any feedback on if this is ok or if this is causing any harm to the plant would be appreciated. I also seemed to solve the really high humidity issue this week. When watering in the past I wasn’t pouring it into the soil properly, and it was draining off to the side of the container, it would all run off and pool behind the plant and I wouldn’t realize. This week I took more time when watering and all water seems to have gone into the soil. Following the watering the humidity only seemed to get up to 63%. Previously it was around 74% for about 3 days. I think this is a win. Goal harvest date is January 14th. Can’t wait!
