Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Ambers came in quickly overnight. So i decided to chop her. She looks good and smells great. A fresh sweet lemony scent. Overal happy with how she turned out. Cant wait to smoke her. 4/4: all trimmed and in grove bags.

And here we are at the super queen of this round. The Girl Scout Cookies of Zamnesia is having a slow but regular flowering phase, the numerous buds created are swelling at a not fast speed but they are growing regularly, probably because they are numerous and the plant is distributing the power. We really hope to be able to enlarge them properly because everything is very beautiful. On the leaves and on the flowers here is a bit of violet typical of the end of the cycle.

Week 5 of Vegetation It was really a great week⬆️🌱. The Gelato has really stretched out... 16 cm in a week. I’ve already tied the lower shoots back a bit so they’ll get more sun during the flowering phase. I’ve noticed a slight discoloration on the tips of the leaves… maybe I watered it a little too much. 🌊 Still, it was a great week… and I hope it transitions into the flowering phase soon. 🌸?

Her green still not were i want so i am keeping the nutrispray for a few days more at least until i like the colors better, apart from that she is growing great actually, wen looking at last week defoliation and now , i mean lol Sorry so short update i will keep updating among this week <3 <3 <3 Decided to connect my spider-farmer to increase my PPFD, i love this MARSHYDRO TSW2000 but in my humble opinion a 4x4 needs a bit more PPFD Power wen in flower mode bringing up my average PPFD to 1000 umol/m2/s lets see if she likes the idea or not. And like i suspected she did like more light and the color is changing bringing her green colors back to normal, did a leaf inspection just in case and posted some photos of my under leaf microscopic view, all good by the way lol , with this meaning that next week i will provably stop Nutrispray since i don't like so very much to apply any type of foliar during flower. And As i suspected i have an bug infection lol freaking trips found them way in to my closets, them a i dont know if mites, but i have something in this closet that webs and i cant find it RRR, i guess its part of the game, just been long long long time since i encounter any situations like this, and that is why its happening, i got way to comfortable and lazy on my IPM. This is one of the reasons why is so important to checking in a microscopic way under leafs etc Im ordering a bunch of beneficial insects , traps etc and going in from all sides lol non so ever she is looking great, not the best color leafs i know , but she is moving fast and furious . This week is going good for the beach ball I noticed some nice growth coming in and started LST for the mini pot growth is not as vigorous will most like start feeding next week just to prolong it a little longer this is definitely a experience can’t wait for the next week!

Final week of water.. this week will be the last one, from sunday 7 she will be deprived of water until she start showing amber trichomes.. then I will chop her! Smells like citrus and gasoline :Q_ From tuesday to friday just dry soil.. she start drying still alive 😛

Day 88-89 - PH still out of whack. Did a Res change, and still having the same PH problem. It drops hourly. PPMs now around 700. I added 1/4tsp of SubCulture B with the res change this time. Day 90 - 38F - Added a second air pump to Res. Both airstones were engulfed by roots, so i moved one into a more open area, and the second pump doubled the bubbles and the res is now moving much more. Day 91 - 39F - PH was back to normal! (5.9). Hoping it was the lack of oxygen.. Day 92 - 40F - PH was still 5.9. Seems like everything is back to normal. Day 94 - 42F - Changed Res/Nutes.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days.
