Some plants started their senescence, these will be the first ones to be ready for harvesting. Cellmax BIO nutrients are remarkable as usual, they are able to provide the quality and the quantity 😉👍 The air/water ratio of the BIO Soil is perfectly balanced and will provide enough oxygen even during the heavy watering in the flowering stage. Again, the Lemon Cream Kush is amazing 🤩 See the pictures and look at those crazy buds 😄 The choice of the genetics can make all the difference between failure and success. SPLIFFSEEDS.NL has successful genetics. Every strains in this diary is making proper dense buds. Each different strains has similar phenotypes which is a good indicator and a positive signal for a 100% stabilized strains. Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

Week 8 of flowering, Biscotti mints 2 looks more close to the end than Biscotti mints 1. Both very frosty, smelling really good. It’s been 1 week since I flushed them 😍 Looking at the trichomes they are close to the stage I like(around 20-30% amber) so I will harvest them.. probably 1 more week. Overall really happy with what I am seeing 🤩 can’t wait to smoke it 🤪

6.4.25: FastBuds Mystery Seed #1: She has been topped twice and is looking pretty strong 💪 She has grown vertically, and leaves are always praying. Possibly too much light, so I have turned the dimmer down to about 90%. There are slight bleached tips on a couple of top leaves. I'm hoping to do the same LST with garden wire here very soon. Overall, the plant has nice big, fat leaves. Seemingly lush colour and vigorously growing since the double toppings. Very nice plant so far. 👌 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 14.4.25: I have been super busy with all the other harvests in the past several days, so this is a little late. FastBuds Mystery seed #1 has been topped twice and the growth has been thick and lush. I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. I have been using wire, clips, and Bio stretch fabric plant ties to LST the plant. The plant has reached the 8 Gallon pot perimeter. The plant is in the first week of flower. I'm hoping to keep the canopy even with my RQS Northern Lights grow as I need to be able to compare the plants accurately for the experiments. I did snap off a branch, again the day after I said I'd be very careful 😖 The plant is very resilient though, and you wouldn't know anything happened at all, minus one of the first tops is missing. Thankfully I topped twice, so I still have 5 tops. Training Techniques used this week are LST and defoliation. I watered on 13th and 14th with the following solution; 4 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 8 ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 1/2 Teaspoon Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. PPM: 1000. 2 litres were given on two consecutive days. I watered in a top dress, which I will add what I used here, but it was another mess up, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear 😅 Top dress: 4 gallons containing approximately: 50% Canna Terra Mix soil 25% Worm Castings 23% Perlite 2% Organic Dry Amendments, which were; ☆ Ecothrive Life Cycle ☆ Ecothrive Charge ☆ Diatomaceous Earth ☆ Ground Cinnamon ☆ RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules I used the top dress amount for established plants for a pot size of 30L / 8 Gallons. I'm not keen on the soil. I was supposed to get Canna Coco but I got sent Canna Terra in error. It was overdue for a top dress and I had nothing else to use. I don't like it in comparison. bit of light stress in the last weeks photos, everything has cleared up still watering with silica when pot is dry. might just do a plain watering we have started flowering at day 18 on one of the crinkles , the rest of the room has now followed

Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that moved in and are making my life a little chaos. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing/fading away and that's never a good sign This is the one with the most visible symptoms, And keep scratching my head around it. Thought for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. No smell yet, the Amnesia takes over in that field, giving her a few more days/weeks until we can start feeling her scent :D That's all folks, have a great week
