Nice bud formation this week. I didn't notice that the reservoir pH jumped up to over 7 pH for at least one fertigation. That seems to be what caused the reaction seen on the leaves in the form of some yellowish spotting. I corrected the reservoir, hopefully this fixes it.

Great week for growing. As you can see 1 is very strong and started lst on it and 1 other. Transplanted June 5th at 3 weeks from germination into miracle grow pro mix hp and cattle manure for soil mix.Also switched to full nutes this week as they were responding well. Weather was decent and is looking better for the following week. Happy growing.

01/19 - This is a do over (Part 2 ) - First bean dudded out on me mid germ/seedling - started this one on 01/15 - Part of a grow along on Discord - starting in 6oz solo through seedling 01/24 - Day 10 seedling (Tail root dropped on the 17th) Transplanted into 1 gallon tote - Using support to combat canopy tilting, She's recovery nicely - Myco dose into coco to assist root development.

Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. I love how these girls look and are growing under the TSW2000, they look better than round 1, grown under my own custom Samsung strip's. Thank you Mars-Hydro for the light! Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥 We ran this one in an even parts soil, compost, coco and purlite mix. The hope was to minimize required nute feedings and maintenance. The addition of nute nuetral coco proved to be somewhat of a mistake and may have contributed to some unnecessary plant stress when she used up all the available natural nutes in the soil and compost. There simply wasn’t enough good stuff in the medium to see her happily through the cycle without extra supplementation. I’d do this again but leave out the coco and layer the compost at the bottom with minimal medium saturation and runoff in early/mid veg. This should achieve better results the next time round. She was entirely untrained and allowed to stretch to her highest height. A better yield definitely would’ve been derived with some topping/mainlining and training but regardless, her freak flag flew high and She went unnoticed by unwanted eyes. We won’t be able to grow high next year due to construction next door so this may be the last time I run a skyscraper outdoor in the rear yard. 1/5 volume emojis for method because there really wasn’t any training. 2/5 coconut emojis- not for the lack of training but due to the unsupportive medium amendments like the coco. Yield🌴🌴🌴 And now the part we all seem to measure with great expectation. The expectation in this case was to pull 9-12oz off this girl and we fell well short of that. For the reasons mentioned above as well as the fact that she was putting at least some of her efforts into seed production too. We spotted it pretty early on in flower and some stalks started showing signs of ball formation that every grower fears. I was really concerned she’d be a full on hermie but this didn’t happen and it seems it was just localized pollination. Probably due to an occasional, randy bumblebee that had come from elsewhere. It’s not all bad at all and we did pull a few seeds off of her that we’ll give a shot to in the future I think👍. Final yield - 7.18oz. I’m never going to complain about a quarter pound off a plant that needed almost no maintenance whatsoever👍. 3 palm tree emojis for not going full hermie and putting out enough of this magically intense bud to share with friends and family👍 Props As always, big shout-out thank you to GD for making this site accessible to us. Wound doing minimal defoliation and pruning as you can see. Will prob prune the bottom leaves tomorrow and that will be it as far as Any pruning and defoliation goes. It is next to my wood stove rn which is not running however 90% of the time it will be this winter and stays around 70 degrees F and 40% humidity without the dehumidifier running. When the woodstove is not running it stays at 66 degrees and 50% humidity with dehumidifier running. For the last 3-4 days b4 harvest I will not run the wood stove and keep the dehumidifier on to get the colors out in this plant.

Well it seems like I have amnesia already with how quickly this one grew and finished, haha. I did a check with the 100x microscope and trichomes are beginning to turn translucent/milky with no amber at all. I noticed this, trimmed up some more fading leaves and got her ready for flush since I had used Beastie Bloomz and Overdrive late in the flowering phase. I need to do some more research on organic alternatives for boosters and be prepared for next time. Usually with a fully organic system there is no need for a flush because of the active rhizosphere and the breakdown of organic substances. I removed the lid containing the net pot, roots and screen that they grew through and had my girl slide a shallow tote underneath. I left an air line/stone with the roots and filled 2 gallons of RO with Clearex which is a commercial flushing agent, mostly composed of citric acid as well as a half of a tsp of Microbes in each gallon. Planning on leaving her like this for a couple days, continuously flushing by the day, pouring from the top of the net pot to fill.

Hi all! Back with more phone pics!! 😅 Made some changes beginning of the week. The corners where getting a bit too high so I lowered her by removing the grid underneath. This gave her an extra 15cm / 6inch of space. I fed her with some micro elements using Acti-Vera and she really liked it! She was missing some of those I think, now the leaves are pointing to the sun and she even regained some green color. I have to admit that this lady gets me quite exited!! 😃 Red here and there that a lot of growers have quitted before the end so I hope I'll be able to bring her to the finish line! See you next week!
