Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Got rid of the root rot. She is doing amazing growing rapidly.

Chugging along. Have had some moisture issues in the tent- pooling water on the floor. Added another fan to keep things moving plus reduced the temp at which the exhaust fan blows one degree. That seemed to help. I’m a little worried that the buds seem so small this late in the game. I’ll officially ask a question about this later, but I have been having a lot of condensation inside my tent. That’s because it is in a cold part of my house. And though I do have two fans running and the temp is set low, the condensation is running down my walls and under my floor tray. Not a huge issue except I tried wiping down the walls today and bent a pretty good bud stalk. Not sure if it will keep growing or if it will be an early sacrifice. But, bummer all the same. Also, I figured out that I was a week off. So, just starting week 8.

Today we have the last day of flower at day 70. Aromas are getting real loud. Most Trichomes are milky on all strains, French Toast and AllGas could’ve been harvested earlier as they are leaning very far to the amber color. Flushed them for 1 week with tapwater at around 0,3 ec and 5,8 ph. Some samples have been cut on day 63, which already smell amazing.

Week 6 - Maybe the last vegetative week. Everyone is topped and LST. I think I will let them grow in peace this week (Ill just fix the lst, no more toppings or cutting fan leaves) and install my scrog net

The flowering process isn't it beautiful. I love this stage doesn't matter how the plant turned out in training or in this case the panic moments when they get too tall. 😅 because you start seeing the results of the work that was done. They are all doing well.

12/16 - Howdy there, growers. Here we are at the start of week 11 for this lady. Day 77 from seed. She still have a little ways to go, but she is coming along quite nicely. Buds are stacked and rock hard and getting frostier by the day. I'm trying not to rush this one. I removed the Pro-TeKt from her regimen as she isn't growing anymore. I switched her feed over to ~1.0ec (500ppm) to taper her down during her last two weeks. I am also going to taper the lighting schedule down as we approach chop on her once her sister is no longer in the tent. Thanks for checking out the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

I went out of town for the holidays and had a friend check in on my plants every 3 days. 12/27 - Day 85 - Watered all 3 plants with 2 ml/l of flawless finish. The largest plant was completely dry and took 5 L. The other two were still damp and took about ~3L 12/30 - Day 88 - Plain water for all 3 plants. PH 6.2. Largest plant took 5L and the smaller two a little less than 4L. 1/02 - Day 91 - Large plant got 5L w/ Recharge. Front 2 got 3.5-4.0L w/ Flawless finish. Flowers on the front two were so heavy they were falling over so she used some pipe cleaners to support them. Some fan leaves had started yellowing.

My 4 plants are still there, with the banana as a smile 🍌😁 I continue the defoliation, I wonder if I'm not doing a little too much sometimes.. We will soon see the result 🌗Switching to flowering this week, I reduced the length of the day by 1 hour each day until reaching 12 hours night time / 12 hours daylight on the 33rd day!🌞 🌺On the 33rd day I apply a layer of organic nutrients mixed with a little soil that I add to the top of each pot. I added 35 grams of BioBloom to each of my pots🌺 (Pot of 7 Liters / 2 gallons) ------------------------------------------------------------ 💧Watering I water all my pots the same day but with more or less water. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.
