I will try and update daily Germination requires 3 things - Darkness , Warmth , Water One thing i should mention - Growing autoflowers, is difficult to do well,why? because from the moment that seed sprouts, you have a finite amount of time before she is finished, so any fucking about with anything ( repotting,pests,nutrient issues) , will lower yield.You can sometimes get them finished in 10 weeks on 20/4 but unless you have a controlled environment its hard to go more than 18/6 without heat and humidity issues.Autoflower breeding has come a long way in the last 10 years,Fast Buds is one of the pioneers. Day 1 - Tuesday 16/10/18 Put into wet root it cubes , then into the net pots with the clay pebbles, then pots into my rooting dwc boxes , placed a dome over the top to increase the humidity . Day 2 - Weds , nothing happening yet ! Day 3 - Thursday , I think she has popped , not quite up yet , see pink picture Turned light on 17/7 , why ? because I think this is best @ 13-15,000 lux Bestva 800 (150 watt draw) Led approx £100 , I would buy the dimable cob version if you can .(900 or 1200) Day 4 - Friday , looks a little distorted , has she got three leaves ? night time took a pic on the G7 .... Day 5 - Saturday , definitely three leaves , might just be the first node , fingers crossed she will be fine , was quite worried she wouldn’t make it , gave her 20 ml of room temperature water , with a syringe onto the root it cube , Day 6 - Sunday , looking ok , nice and green , I’m hoping the roots will be into the reservoir by now , you have to love fast buds , the germination rates are almost 100% , I have included a picture with the rest of the pots , for reference , there is a gorilla glue and a tangiematic, two of my favourite Fast Buds strains , which I started around the same time , IMPORTANT- do no let the root it cubes dry out before the roots are into the reservoir , make sure the bottom of the net pot DOES NOT touch the water Day 7 - Monday , I checked the water level and the ph , it has lost a little due to evaporation , root is well into the reservoir , I will add some nutrients tomorrow, seed on top right has pushed up but no leaves, this is NOT a fast buds seed, just shows u,... i have also put more pebbles in to cover up the holes, it would be nice if they did a pot that didnt have holes all the way to the top !!! Building DWC - you can build a DWC quite easily , out of cheap items , the ones in this week , were made by a friend of mine (Kev) when he spotted the box at Poundland for £1 - all you need is a black plastic box ( black so no light penetrates the roots ) with a lid , a 127mm hole cutter , air pump with tube and air stone , 140mm net pots to go in holes , some clay pebbles , and root it cubes , I will make a little instructional video , the reason I put them in here is because I will transfer into my IWS oxypots , which are too big to go into the tent ,and as the led is better with small plants it’s much easier .

Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. A sleepy week for this young Orange Sherbet. She can't seem to pop out of that seed wrap, wondering if I should intervene. Tips are welcomed 🙏 Spent 36hrs in water, 36hrs in a paper towel, then 48hrs under the soil before popping her head up into the light. The light schedule I'm following is 20/4 under two 100w LEDs running around 80% at 650mm above the babies. They're receiving 150-200umol's at roughly 11-14 DLI. Organic medium and nutes so just watering in around 200mL of dechlorinated water at 6.6 pH per day. I figured I want to get this medium nice and moist for the microbes to thrive so I've been bottom watering 200mL extra every other day, with a gap day today as the pots are nice and weighty now. Welcome baby OS 🍊

She is growing vigorous every day. Seems like she has new growth. Super stoked to see how she turns out first time using Athena.🤞🤞🤞🔥💯

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 70 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Day 21 Flower Defolation

This week I assembled the new 48x48x80 Mars Hydro tent and installed the new FOHSE Aries 600W LED light. I set the dim to 75%, but after two days, it was clearly too much, especially for 20 hours per day. I will dim it way down and shorten the hours until the plants appear to be doing better.

Vaped some lower buds and the taste is as advertised like tropical fruit or fruity pebbles

Wk 4 flower is almost done. I’ve made a slight change to the feed schedule this week. I’d been giving around two litres twice per week but it was looking slightly over watered afterwards , so now adjusted to 1.5 L 3 times a week. The plant has reacted well and will hopefully cope with a higher dosage of feed over the next 3 weeks.

Pretty exciting week. Been doing last-minute prep to switch from Veg to flower, by moving lights around and adjusting them between blue and red to encourage growth in that last little stragglers. More significant though, we had a power outage in the middle of the day, mid week, that caused me to scramble to find light. This gave an added bonus because I the weather is getting better and I was able to expose my plants to some natural sunlight and air. You can see in the timelapse the combination of blue, red, and white light as I shift things around. NOTE: This week was also the start of the COVID-19 Self Quarantine, so the time at home gave me a lot more flexibility to tend to my babies. Plants have reached as high as 20 inches or more, but topped off the tallest ones because they were overpowering the smaller guys and also starting to droop. Plus I broke one trying to weave through the net. Next Week: Switch to Flower Stage!

All into flowering although the back plants seem to be a few days ahead (?). The middle plant has grown about an inch a day (as with the rest) . this one went from 14" to 18.5" in 4 days. the stretch went from 22 to 26". I will wait for the vertical growth to stop be fore I bring the light down - they may just grow into it.
