Nothing too special at this point, just watering and the occasional big bloom. I think Im about ready to harvest and move to the next grow. The leaves are a bit thin.

Growing Fast Buds Tangie'Matic again. This was one of the first strains I grew and I had great results the first time. Looking forward to seeing if I can up my game at all this time. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. 22 Diciembre: Hoy se pasó a etapa vegetativa nuevamente, se regó abundantemente de manera manual con lanza de riego para bajar la EC del sustrato a rangos vegetativos(3.5~6.0), se obtuvo runoff de 5.9pH y 5.0EC, durante los siguientes días se debe seguir bajando la EC con más cantidad de disparos al día.

Week 2 full strength feed schedule. I change water weekly, week 3 will begin 1/20/24. Hooked water chiller up to system, works great holding water temps at 66-68 deg F. Ph bounced around but has held steady at 5.9 for 4 days now. EC is 1.2. Lights are at 50% intensity. Roots really starting to show. Sorry pics and diary are a little disorganized, didn’t get diary going right away, I’ll keep up to date as week 3 begins. Humidity fluctuates and drops rapidly when the tent is opened. Put a pitcher of room temp water in with the girls to try to keep humidity up, just had a cold snap here with extreme lows! Girls are powering through no prob though 💪 As of 1/18/24 I’ll add update pics daily, also going to phase out hydroguard in favor or SoAg when it arrives in the mail. 1 8ox bottle of SoAg will make almost 50 gallons of “Hydroguard” and it’s much more effective from what I’ve been hearing from others.

Hey all! 👋 This week is when most of my plants deficiencies started to show, specially on Matcha 😢so to try to fix this problem I decided to use Revive from Advanced Nutrients on both plants (there were some slight indications that Pistachio might be suffering from some of these issues as well) and since last time it worked amazingly well I just decided to do it... and it seems it did its magic! The changes started to become more obvious near the end of the week when finally Matcha started to grow, so I'm happy! Also, since Pistachio is growing well I decided to do some LST on her as well and she took it without problems 😍 I also believe this issue is a mix of nitrogen deficiency and magnesium (mostly this) and I suppose that's because of the heat that's inside the tent and because I'm feeding my plants with bottled water (different brand) that's probably low on that mineral. In my previous grow I used to add tap water to the mix but the water where I used to live was better so I fear that I might end doing more harm than good if I use this water to feed the plants 😵if the issues continues tho I'll get a bottle of Cal Mag and see if things improve. The ladies are starting to fatten up and are looking great! Lots of long white hairs poking out, great stacking, and the smell is soooo loud. I’m having to run my exhaust 24/7 which has led to some cooler temps. I’m starting to see colour forming in two of the girls, but one in particular 😊 this strain should finish within 8-9 weeks, but others have gone longer to get more amber and couch lock out of the buds. I tried three types of training intensities. Pheno 1 I topped all cola sites twice for more tops. Pheno 2 I topped each site once. Pheno 3 I topped the main cola once and tied down the whole plant. Pheno 1 will have the the biggest harvest. Pheno 2 will have the most trichomes and turning purple. Pheno 3 has the largest orange colas. Going to push the trichomes this time.

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Well, it looks as if one of the 3 plants is a male. I live in denial for one more day and then I toss it. Not sure which plant it is, as I painted over the strain names when I painted the cups grey. Smooth. So I will find out soon. Otherwise, good weather and some good growth. Roots are balled up at the bottom of the dutch bucket reservoir, Im sure, because I let the drip go dry for a day or two and the plants were droopin (coco)

This week smells so strong. The tent was cramped

Leaves are starting to fade almost time to chop. Prob going to let it ride into week 10-11 into flowering as I’ve read the flowers can boom hard if you are patient w this particular strain.. but, as soon as I see some amber on the trichomes “TIMMBBERRRR!” Really looking forward to the smoke 👽🤙🏼

Al no tener humificador se queda un pelín baja la humedad, pero estoy bastante contento con los parámetros. A partir de ahora iré comentando día a día para que podáis hacer un buen seguimiento. Día 8: 🔹Descanso 😴 Día 9: 🔹Trasplante a macetas de 1litro (en los siguientes cultivos pondré directamente en macetas de 1litro). 🔹 Riego con una solución de 2ml/l de acti-vera de Bio Bizz Ec: 600 y pH a 5.9. Siempre en base a un Ec de agua de 400 🔹Abono foliarmente con una solución de acti-vera de Bio Bizz unas 2, 3 veces al día. 🔹 Aplico tierra de Diatomeas sobre el sustrato, media cucharadita de café por cada maceta de 1litro para el control de plagas. Día 10: 🔹Abono foliarmente 2,3 veces al día con acti-vera de Bio Bizz 🔹Bajo la altura del foco a 50 cm de distancia con las plantas. Día 12: 🔹 Aplico foliarmente 1ml/l Acti-vera BioBizz + 0.1ml/l y pH a 6.0 de 2 a 3 veces durante el día. 🔹Remuevo la tierra para por encima con unas pinzas para airear el sustrato. Día 13: 🔹Riego con 0.2ml/l Acti-vera y 0.01 Rootbastic, Ec 1000 y PH 5.9 🔹Pongo unas guías de madera para una mejor estabilidad y desarrollo de la planta.
