This week growth has been exceptional! They are all stretching nicely and setting flowers. I foliar sprayed Soluable Kelp, ChitoSal and Rubicon Marinis to help transition to flower. All 2 days apart. Added this months top up of Gaia at 1.5 cups of 4-4-4 and 1.5 cups of 2-8-4 as top dressing. They responded very well to this application. Might start adding a few tbsps of each every week from now on. Still adding compost tea once a week. This compost tea I added 2 tbsp of Gaia 2-8-4. Ran out of fish shit. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Roughly 30 gallons of soil inside cages wrapped in plastic about a foot and a half high amended with 3 cups Gaia 4-4-4 and 2 cups Gaia 2-8-4 and 2 cups Gaia Feather Meal 13-0-0. Topped up each month with a cup of each as well as worm casting/soluble kelp/molasses compost tea once a week. Also Fish Shit amendment added at recommended doses. Orange Kush Cake, Cherry Gar-See-Ya, Mac 'n Jack, Crescendo Rbx1 are all Ethos genetics at 25-35% THC Blue Afghan is from Jordan Of The Islands. Recieved clones in the mail in early May. Growing well and have not added nutrients. The lights have been modified, 216w per 2ft light fitting and three units in the grow room. A total of 648w for 15sqft.

Haven't got the hand of the nutrient think it takes to long on my phone so I'll take a pic later when I flush out in 1 or 2 weeks hopefully I make the contest

Skunk Special, a.k.a. Red Skunk, stems from the infamous Red Skunk clones that conquered the Netherlands in the late eighties/ early nineties. Ferry started working on the Skunk Special in the nineties. The Skunk Special is the result of several S1 lines inbred with a 25% of Automatic. The current line was selected over several generations in order to retain the right and essential Skunk features, yet creating a fast flowering strain. Showing almost no variety between the individuals, this is among the most stable and homogenous strains since it was selected from a few thousand plants. This Skunk Special is a powerful and strong plant with thick, solid stems, creating massively tight buds during the flowering stage. The Skunk Special has gorgeous looking red pistils that give this plant an amazing bag appeal. Skunk Special is suitable for indoor, greenhouses and outdoors if grown in temperate and/or the warm Mediterranean climate. It is a massive yielding outdoor behemoth with amazing trichome production. The smell can be described as extremely pungent and citral with the classic cat-piss smell of the old-school Skunk. It is a very clean smoke. A Skunky and slightly sweet taste that is pleasantly acidic towards at the end. A mildly relaxing body high that causes a tingling sensation combined with a very pleasant head high.

The plants still seem to be doing ok. I notice that the pistil hairs are starting to turn brown. I'm getting closer to the harvest stage which Is exciting. If anyone can give me advice I surely would appreciate it.

Week 5 temperature increased to 30c and RH reduced to 55%. We decreased the distance of the light from 50cm to 35cm. We ve seen a big stretch this week. We increased the dose of the base nutes and we applied topping and HST( super cropping) last week in 2 of the 3 crystal meth. In the rest of the plants we plan to only use defoliation. Crystal meth and Fastberry appear to be the most mature in the tent even though they are different phenos. Gorilla glue (2x the same pheno) with jack 47 (4x the same pheno) are following. Cream mandarin XL (x4 same pheno) are the tallest plants and they just started to burst pistils. Girl scout cookies are the least mature plants.

Dried her for a total of 10 days. Give her a rough trim nothing fancy, just enough to put her in glass jars. The final dry weigh was 83grams after smoking a couple of grams. Her smoke gives me an energy high that keep me motivated complete my chores. The taste is citrus and fruity. Good grow decent weight and final product.

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Hello Week 8: Everything runs like clockwork. PK tea secret recipe works at full speed. Tomorrow morning there will be the next vaccination. I think then the growth rate will explode generatively exponentially high... The Sweet Seeds girls should be ready soon, which means their last PK tea and then only gentle watering. Today finally arrives my Sweet Seeds shipment "Jealousy Z XL" from Spain... I think that my crowning debut will be in my new Homebox Ambient XL yes !!

Well, the room is looking huge. If I didnt defoliate, I feel like the harder to reach areas would be difficult to maintain and that the transpiration would be too much to control. I like what I have going on so far. The defoliated plant has stretched higher than the defoliated one. Underneath they look similar, and it will be very interesting to see the end results for myself. I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

Week 3 flower and they are already stacking nicely! Buds have a nice purple / blue hue to them already which is awesome!

Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are filling up more and the first pistils start to get brown, which shows the plants start to ripen and go towards harvest time. The smell they exude is STRONG now and VERY PLEASANT. The aroma is sweet, peachy with sandalwood undertones and is MOUTH-WATERING. The plants are TRICHOME MONSTERS and are covered in crystals, any little touch and your fingers stay sticky for hours.
