Greeting of the day! First of all, thanks to everybody who is engaging and interacting with my diary and myself. I truly enjoy and appreciate you all! The time laps of the first LST is relevant to week 4, but decided to put it here as well for the contrast. For the last week, i have increased watering volumes and put them on regular schedule, and i see pretty massive grow. Jumped from 15 to 35cm in height and thats after the first LST. I am not feeding the girls anything but water with regulated PH. Seems that the soil is rich enough to keep them fed. Today (day 33), ive decided to perform another LST, more radical than the first one. The main stems started to shoot up and it seems that the rest of the body is falling behind in growth, so i bended and twisted around the main columns of 2/3 girls. Is seems that they have reacted extremely positively. I see immediate development of secondary columns (check out the photo right after lst and in 4 hours) Also, I’ve defoliated, well… removed one leaf that I was not able to tuck anywhere. P.S. Oh! got the girls a new fan, specially designed for grow tents. They are happy and so am I. The smell is so nice, if i leave the tent open it fills the room almost immediately. She’s done. That’s it for This Bruce banner original sensible always is on point this plant is gorgeous and so stinky has flowery diesel notes and tons of tricomes can’t wait to get this dried looking about 3 oz dry I would assume from my experience on to the next ones now !

Green Gelato develops as 100% sativa. The branches are long and very promising. Fairy tale. Everything is sticky and snow-white. Trichome paradise. Ph: 5.8 / 6.2, ppm: 900/1050.   t: 26/21 ^ C. Humidity: 60/50.

We had rain in morning Day 1 and the previous night. Early morning Day 2, around 2-3 a.m., we had thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy rain. Afternoon Day 2 the sun came out. Despite the 5% rain forecast for day 3, we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind. It lasted about a hour. Then a shower in the evening, thoroughly soaking this pot again. Day 4 we had plenty of sunshine and a nice breeze. Day 5, 6, and 7 were sunshine and breezy. I added 2.5 ml of ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil on day 1. I added a second dose of 2.5ml ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil top dressed in day 5 for a total of 5ml/gallon of soil top dressed for the week. I added 1.3 ml/gallon of soil(10ml) blood meal top dressing on day 5. I watered til runoff on day 6 and again day 7. The ferrous sulfate really began working day 6. The plants are beginning to appreciate the nutrients in the soil as they've grown and iron and nitrogen become available. The rain and cool nights these plants have endured are very challenging for cannabis. This plant surviving and thriving through the weather and user error proves how resilient these fastbuds genetics are. Overall the week was a success and next week will be much better.

The "Gelato" grows in a very particular way, an irregular bush with the right brunches in the right place, we have also patched the sides and placed something dirty in the regrown central.

Going good so far. I am shocked how little water I have had to feed them honestly. My preperation has paid off very well. 6/13/2024 Day 22 Temp: 82 F RH: 70% VPD: 1.17kPa I went ahead and chopped the middle plant. Mycelium is appearing below and that’s rad! I lowered the plant off the crate I had it on and went ahead and raised the light power to 10/10 because my PAR was good. All plants are showing pistils now. Bloom/Flower has begun. Light distance 18 inches now light power 10/10 50kLux 6/14/2024 Day 23 Temp: 87 RH: 65% VPD: 1.48kPa Plant #1 11 inches Plant #3 8 inches Light to plant 12 and 14 inches KLux at 10/10 65 & 45 Water good, mycelium growing all over. By the time I get back on Sunday the water should be gone, the plants will be huge and I’ll have to hurry to move the light lol. I don’t like how hot it’s staying but I’m afraid to turn it off because how cold it gets at night. 6/18/2024 Day 27 Temp: 75.6 F RH: 58% VPD: 1.25kPa Plant #1 height: 18 inches! Correct weeknumbers are difficult in a perpetual grow lol🙃 Little update with all the strains. Runtz XL(more xxxx small lol) was drowned as can be seen, no hole in that pot>drilled them today. As small as she is she is the second plant that entered flowering stage. Red Gorilla girl XL was in my vertical garden system, didnt respond well its leaves started to wilt, the pot got replaced somewhere a little more temperate. The lsd-25 seems to be okay in the vertical wall. The Purple punch is well into flower ready to develop nugs in next 2 weeks Happy growing peeps

Those who instantly resort to knee-jerk ridicule and continue to believe whatever they were first taught are those most easily deceived. Very high light intensity can slow vertical growth. She just doesn't want to grow vertically any longer; once the flower is initiated, that goes right out the window. Apical dominance is shattered; you now have every single stem fighting for survival against each other, with none given particular precedence over another. That is some stretch for a week, explosion. Immobilization is the reverse process, where microbes absorb inorganic sulfate from the soil to meet their own nutritional needs, making it unavailable to plants. Glucose typically uses more oxygen than sucrose in a medium because it can be metabolized more directly, while sucrose must first be broken down into glucose and fructose, which can involve additional energy costs and a slower overall process. However, the efficiency of oxygen use can vary depending on the specific organism and conditions, as some bacteria, for instance, can use sucrose for a growth advantage under certain circumstances by producing exopolysaccharides that are more efficient at oxygen extrusion.
