Pests The amount of sciridae increased a lot (as expected, because the population should be about to collapse), but I also noticed that they were being accompanied by exactly 1 premature spider mite (drop in RH). Because my environment seemed to fall out of an equilibrium, I thought about using fine quartz sand (0.1 - 0.4 mm) and nematodes to hinder the adult Sciaridae from laying eggs and also actively hunt for their larvae, while being able to get back on watering regularly... In the end I actually ordered those - but decided not to use them because the process of drying out the substrate was already in its final stage [foreshadowing: bad idea]. Plants Also, the variegated plant got cellular damage... most likely because my temp. and RH varied too much (VPD and temp. spikes were too extreme and rapid). [Variegated plants in general are less resilient and need a more stable environment]. Setup Until now, I didn't use any fan so that I could keep the moisture and temperature up, but from now on, I will start to activate an exhaust fan at about 0,5 -1 air exchanges per minute. This should homogenize the environment but also decrease the temp. by 1-2 K, and the RH yet again by another 10%. It also allows the plants to transpirate more efficiently, and with that, normalize the VPD. Living Soil In general, when the pests are in control, I will yet again focus on the 'right' environment rather than battling those pests. With this approach, I can keep the moisture content in the tent the way I want to without worrying about anything else.

This ones doing good its getting a slow flush since it could still use a little longer. Nice fat buds on her though gunna see how the final product is before I decide if I will run it again. Got over zealous with my light, brought it down too much too fast, overnight my girls let me know they were NOT happy🤯. Got all wilty, and starting showing what I think are CalMag deficiency symptoms in some of the leaves. Will adjust accordingly next feeding 🤭 B is also loving life. She is splayed out and growing nicely into her training. Tops are just popping out all over the bent branches and are filling in the middle creating a huge canopy of tops. She has started to flower as well, probably started showing signs about 4 days ago. C is trying to make a comeback 😀 she must have heard all my talk about giving her the boot . I took her tie downs off early this week, and did not put them back on. Maybe it will promote more growth ⬆️. She is definitely thicker, stronger and improving daily. I gave her full dose nutrients this week twice, and she did show a very little bit of burning at the tips, but is still going strong. She may make the cut after all…

Day 14 of Bloom today 14 (May). Still Stretching a bit more I hope, but looks ok so far.. considering previous problems I had. next week I will brew my first compost tea as booster and few days after that some defoliation/lollipopping will be done.. Happy growing 👌

Rolling into Week 2! Everything has been running completely according to plan so far. Mother Nature is definitely cooperating, serving up some optimal weather with plenty of sunshine, around 25°C during the day, dropping to a comfortable 15°C at night, and zero rain. Following the Biotabs NL guidelines for automatics, I pressed the second Biotab into the soil today. Otherwise, it’s a quiet and easy phase—just sticking to plain water for now and letting them do their thing until we reach the second week of flowering. Everything is looking great so far!

Forbidden Runtz is being harvested to make room for another strain. Sour Stomper has one more week then making room for another strain. I didn't supply the enough nutrients and became evident the last few weeks. I made many mistakes that I hope to dial in next run. The whole experience for a first time indoor autoflower was fun and low maintenance. I look forward to the dry product and will update as soon as is happens.

So as you can see, we have upgraded into a 5 gallon wide fabric pot and I'm going to give her another couple weeks to fill into her new home... i broke a couple of branches, definitely gave her silica to early on.. I'm not used to keeping plants in veg for this long... i do think when all said and done, she's gonna be a beast, so it'll be worth it... Thanks again @Grow4releaf!! Not much to say about this week. I still have not taken over ORGA Bloom which is my base and I will not do it until the end of the culture. We see that the resin is present and that the heads grow. I’m not going to leave it at that, so I’ll tell you what I’m going to do for week seven of flowering. So I do not take back my base but I keep my additives and I add two products to make my heads swell, Nirvana and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients to the recommended dosages. I will also increase my watering volume to 6L of nutrient solution for 14L of substrate.

Buds are starting to get nice and juicy aswell as big. Im now looking for a few of those amber trichomes before i start the flush. The nuggs are super sticky and get stinkier by the day. Peace Charlie

This week was hottt. I have been out sic l8ly sorry 4 no updates. The girls r still growing strong. With very little maintenance. I gave them each 5 gallons of water with nutrients on Sat, (early morning since it was a heat wave) I defoliated (the lower branches became shaded out) and now the little bushes are taking upon a more tree like appearance. They are all just under the 7 ft roof, with training. They were hitting the roof and getting wet (morning dew), so i put more fans inside, (also the 90+ outside temps). No problems with heat. I will start making preparations 2 switch them 2 flower at the end of this month :)
