Welcome to week 1 of my CBD Medi Kush Diary! I have 2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds going in the same tent with 14 other plants (full details on all of the other plants can be found on my "Dude's New Diary to Rule Them All" diary, check it out). But with the CBD Medi Kush I'm also growing 3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem, 1 - Critical+ by DinaFem, 3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman and 7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co. The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time (all other plants are clones). Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours. The pictures in week 1 were taken right after transplanting (check week 2 and you will see a very noticeable change all around). My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way. Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job. In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time. Side note: I'm running a separate diary for all of these girls. In this diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in the other diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win. Please follow and comment away!!! So all in all the strain took 98 from seed. It was easy to grow and forgiving aswell. The buds smells super sweet and are quite fluffy like a true sativa!

10/17/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 0.3L, 1 x 1L - VPD @ 0.9 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 50% ~500 to 560 PPFD - Removed 2-3 leaves --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As promised last week, i made a video and explained the progress so far, and did show you the plant. Not much to report. I continued LST, though I’ve stopped for a few days now since the branches are well spread out, and that should be enough for the time being. The Lemon Cherry Cookies is lacking behind in her development, maybe she got a little bit less light, because she is a little bit smaller than the other two plants.

Added a photo of the whole tent including both plants from both diaries, next diary will most likely be a 1 tent 1 plant. Buds are swelling slightly but still airy and not dense. Leafs are bleaching more, next week I'll do a complete refill of the tank and will be going a little easier on the KMPS because it adds to much K. Had some trouble with a minor leak through the top of the tube because it was filled to the rim due to a lot of roots and really long netcups which block the tube, next tome netcups which are not as long and rather wider instead because the current ones are choking the stem which IMO is a good and bad thing, it stresses the plant so it produes more but also chokes it a little and the stem rips at the base but it heals. Values are average of the day. Smell is unreal, sweet candy shop sorta scente, buds are extremely hard so far like steel 🤞.... the tall scruffy thing in baxk, hasn't had the optimum PAR as you can see also, it was the only one in the gold label special mix (pre fertilised) media...

We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.

She's coming along nicely and switching to 12/12 today, remember stay green happy growing and peace ✌️

Almost CHOP CHOP time will give a full report one day but I can tell u this if I wouldn't of topped this plant no telling how big she would of got she had a 25 inch stretch after topping so u do the math this can easily be a 80 inch plant ✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

This breeder is a scammer** I’m going to end this grow diary here. During the later stage, I went through a mental breakdown and kind of lost focus on life for a while. I’ll upload whatever photos I still have, but I didn’t get my friend to help take proper photos because he was dealing with military conscription at that time. I feel genuinely sorry to the sponsors who provided the seeds. I promised to complete the grow diary for them, and I broke that promise. I tried to save some branches, but they didn’t survive. I don’t have any excuses for this. If I get another chance in the future, I’ll buy their seeds myself and grow them again properly. **This breeder held a grow contest and sold a lot of packages for join the contests - seeds-Shirts stuffs and then cancel it after not enough people join him while dealing with his warrant (people talk like he used to be a scammer that famous in cannabis society in 2-3yrs ago) he just rebranding himself and claimed to work with gage geen founder (michael fang) ,I used to respect him and his work but after see him fat shaming people and talk so shit with their customers its just made me see more clearly

The flowering of my TRICHOME WONDERS continues through week 12 and they have grown to an AMAZING size now. The main branches form HUGE colas and some of the plants have started their fade (=the leaves start to get yellow and/or purple), which shows they are getting ripe now and that the BIO-Tabs nutrients in the soil are almost used up. Perfect timing until the end of the cycle. The amount of TRICHOMES on some of my babies is FLABBERGASTING! 😱😍 The topbuds are ENCRUSTED with a WHITE LAYER of trichomes and the plants are GLISTENING now. Especially the Mr. Big Candy from Mr. Hide Seeds is a VERY BEAUTIFUL specimen...she has hues of purple and red in the buds and is FULL OF CRYSTALS! The aroma is a sweet candy like smell, which makes my mouth water every time. The biggest colas are formed on the Mr. Jekyll Kush from Mr. Hide Seeds, she is HUGE! Unfortunately one of the HUGE top-buds has developed bud-rot, therefore I ha to cut off the invested top part of the plant. (see in pics) The SANlight EVO5-150 and Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an OUTSTANDING JOB, they are hanging at appr. 80 cm from the top of the plants and running at 100% (=not dimmed) now. The intensity and spectrum of the LEDs is perfectly designed for the development of Cannabis plants and the results speak for themselves. THOSE LEDs WORK MUCH BETTER THAN HPS-LIGHTS!!! 👍😃 I LOVE THEM!

What a hot week! Temps outside the grow room soared and without insulation, so did the temps inside. Those calyxes are still swelling and new white hairs are popping out everyday. Trichs are still clear as crystal.
