Week 3

So, I started another Northern Lights auto grow, because it is very beneficial for my wife with Autism, where some strains make her a little anxious, Northern lights has a relaxing and calming effect on her. She has been put in soil on the end of day 3. The soil mix used is 5L of Plagron Promix (non-fertil.), 5L of Coco and 1L of perlite in a 11L Gronest pot. I kept 1L of the soil aside, and mixed the rest up with 7 tblsp of organic living soil fertilizer by Ecostyle. I made a potsized hole in the soil, and added the 1L unfertilised soil into the hole to accommodate the seedling through here first weeks of life. Day 4 & 5: No sign of her wanting to pop out just yet.

A straight forward week as the autopots are doing the watering and the plants are growing fast and strong. I have given them a KNF foliar feed today , see video for content. Two of the Radio Z ate looking quite similar. Radio z 2 is a beats real thick stems. Looks male . @lumatekeu attis 300w is set at 80% , have added a Inkbird hygrometer. Which I love .

Salut les Growmies, Quelle superbe aventure cette génétique de chez Exotic Seeds. Cette Zkittalicious depuis le debut m'étonne , de part sa grande vitalité .Malgré l attaque du caht , elle a reprise le dessus , elle a réagi merveilleusement bien a l entrainement que je lui ai fait subir ,LST ,Topping..... There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. This week I'm going to talk a little bit about the 2 gal pots I leave outdoors. Since they're going to be indoors now, I've assembled a fertilizer rack and the bottom compartment is perfect for a cage with all the plants I have. With a length of 1.5m, width 65cm and height of 1m, I will use 4 led bulbs 50w and 2 full spectrum LEDs 36w long 1.2m. 272w / ~ 1m2. 2/3:Plant the plants indoors and lst them. 4 led bulb 50w 5/3:Run off all the trees, as it was soaked with rain water when left outside. is still the old nutritional dose. 6/3: Today I received the led light I ordered. I perfect my design and let the tree in the cage out and lst. 9/3:I feel everything is perfect today, I reduce their lighting time to 12/12. I will cut off all the fan leaves from the stem of the 2gal pots and prune all the small branches of the 1gal pot. in this pruning I will trim them as much as possible. It's been 37 days since the seed and I think they're ready for flowering. I need to flower them urgently because in the next 2 months the weather can be as hot as 40 degrees, and I really have no way to reduce their temperature. I would probably have them flower for 7 to 8 weeks to retain maximum resin. a few days before high, I fliming an NL plant, I experimented with this technique and I feel that they have been very successful since the fliming plants have a much larger stump than other plants. I really like this technique, as it will save me the small space I currently have without having toppings. With just a few simple steps I have got a really big stump and still keep the biggest main bud of the tree. I hope each plant can give me 20-25 grams of dried marijuana.

During veg I gave it urine for nitrogen one month after sprouting. Than I gave it a top feeding of compost, and epsom salt. During bloom I gave it a top feeding of epsom salt and a liquid feeding of raw coconut water 2 weeks into bloom and again 4 1/2 weeks into bloom and now I am only giving it water ph at 6.2. Also if u want to keep it totally organic use apple cider vinegar as ph down and baking soda as ph up.

Colas galore on these sexy mammas. Healthy and happy and blooming along strong now. Gained a touch more height but mostly in bud mass. Rows of branches got me excited for harvest. Its a long way off but I got a good feeling. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. Gotta keep those engines well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy ladies. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Really looking forward to harvesting this girl. Trichomes and Terps are showing up nicely - very fruity - not detecting pineapple yet but really nice. On the grow - I can definitely see how it is not a nitrogen hog - actually would change the nutrients next time around as she’s darker than I would prefer at this stage so I’ve scaled back the nitrogen. Anyway - What started off as a really small, runt of a plant has blossomed into this magnificent 2 foot tall solid bud - not really bothered that I didn’t get time to top + LST

D42 - Today is the first day in the sixth week of veg for #2 and the fifth for #1. It has been six days since the first topping for the first girl, so I went ahead and topped her for the second time. I kept a couple of clones from her this time since she is so vigorous. I also had planned to do the third and final topping on the second girl but knew that I had to buy some more soil staples first. However, this morning a red warning showed up in my Corona warn app. It's the first warning I have ever gotten, but I'm triple vaccinated, of course, and I was wearing my N95 mask for this five-minute exposure, but I want to act responsibly and quarantine for a few days, just in case. So I improvised with BBQ skewers and some electrical tape. The skewers won't hold that well, but the branches are still small, so it shouldn't be a problem until I can venture out again. The cover crop was getting a bit unruly again, so I cut it back again. Finally, I gave both girls around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.3 and added a couple of qtips with peppermint oil to deter pests. D43 - I gave each girl about two liters of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. A bit soon, possibly since I watered them only yesterday, but I needed to feed the girls in the other tent, so these girls got some as well. D45 - Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh! Thrips have found their way into the tent. Lately, I've noticed some discoloration on the older leaves but haven't thought much about it. Today though, it was much more pronounced. I took out my loupe and microscope, and sure enough, I could see thrips larvae. Ugh. I ordered some predatory mites immediately to help with the problem, but they won't get here until a few days, and I want to start fighting the infestation as soon as possible. So, I went out shopping and picked up some pure alcohol, chili flakes, and a spray bottle. After soaking the flakes for a couple of hours, I strained the mixture and prepared a 1:10 solution with distilled water in the spray bottle. I removed all older leaves that were affected most and then sprayed all the remaining leaves, taking care to get them soaked on both sides. This chili tincture is nasty stuff, though, and I was coughing like mad, and the snot was flowing like a spring-river. Next time I'll wear a mask! I also sprayed the clones outside the tent and the Chocodope girl in my other tent, just in case. The Colorado Cookies girl is in flower, though, so I couldn't spray her. She has no sign of infestation, but I'll treat her as well with the mites when they get here. D47 - I resprayed the girls yesterday with the chili tincture to ensure I got to all the little critters, and today, the predatory mites arrived. I hung one sachet on each plant, and I hope that's the end of the little buggers. D48 - The end of another week of veg. The second girl thrives after her third topping, and I will do the third and final topping on the first girl in a couple of days. Once that is done, I can install the scrog net. As for the thrips, I can still see larvae, but they are far and few in between. Hopefully, the predatory mites will soon make short work of them. I haven't even flipped yet, but there are already flowers in the tent!!! Alfalfa flowers that is :D

Today i watered the plant and feeded with BioBizz i did a little defoliating where i cut away the big fan leafs and i did some lillipopping aswell. I want to see how the plant behaves with still more leafs on the plans.

Trying to keep the conditions steady. The seem to be growing faster, they really like the fertilizer. All 3 have 4 nodes, but the bottom true leaves seem to be dying. Might have been inappropriate ph earlier. Day 25: The plants started to smell, although it’s weak Day 28: The fifth node is developing nicely. I think I’ll top them soon, maybe except the little one. It doesn’t seem to be growing well so far.

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.
