Girls going so well, they looks so happy :) They get more light from yesterday I hang mh ts 600 so all together is 50k lumens now :) So proud of them atm and hopefully will be like that until the end :) how do you like my grow? Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. The end of the 5th week of flowering. Just like the other 2 weeks before this was a cold and rainy week. The buds are really struggling to grow/fatten. they grow thought, but slowly because of the colder climate. Because of the struggle and colder climate, they don't drink as fast as they used too, so I give them less to affoid overwatering. I might have to lower my EC as well to make sure they will keep drinking properly.

Smooth grow all round - poor weather at the start, centipedes near the end... otherwise okay.

So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. And this is how we successfully open week 9 - After fermenting a dose of PK compost tea at the end of last week, I poured it extensively. As always, he did them very well. They also need significantly more water again. I have now also increased the humidity a bit, because there is currently drier indoor air in the room of the cultivation area. For me, inner peace means balance, equanimity, even-mindedness, harmony, and stability. And that's exactly what a noble special effect means to me. When a weed variety can develop medicinal qualities. When THC simply has a more complex effect on my organism, than just the usual power high. And if, a plant that hasn't even had the opportunity to reach its full potential, can do that, it has passed all the requirements of a cannabis variation, with flying colors. And on top of that, she seems incredibly graceful and elegantly feminine to me. It's just something very special: She's a Sweet Seed! Oh I see, I'm writing a real diary here... 😜 But I love that. I love grow diaries. Look at the brave girl. She forgives me for topping, training, defoliating and in the end: that I have to kill her. But I know then for sure, that she knows, that I really loved her. And the fascinating homogeneity. Totally instructive. It behaves like a photoperiod phenotype, unbelievable but true! on 14.09.2024 I moved her to the grow room with the others. So it's almost 9 weeks. I'm curious to see if she holds out. But I think so. It seems incredibly energetic and relatively relaxed to me. I'm mentally very busy with her right now. Every morning I comb through her leaf picture. Make impressions of the smallest changes. I currently have Pk boosters or tea with her every third day, alternating. And in between only purified water with enzymes. Dark Devil and Big Devil I let slowly starve and then die of thirst. They consumed the last booster 4 days ago. She (Sour Jealousy) currently swallows 2.5 liters per day. That's really a lot. And in the morning she wants to have something again. I think the lamps tickle out their full potential. I meticulously defoliated her and now she stands happily and despite all the exertions, like a star in the sky. My star. 🌟 Sour Jealousy is really crazy, I can say that. And the coolest highlight will be: Lady Jealousy will soon be able to enjoy the whole place in the sun for the "grande finale". The smell of the two Sweet Seeds totally upsets me! Week 10 - Second Week of Flowering 🌸 As week two of flowering begins, the garden’s growth is unstoppable! These ladies are thriving, stretching up while staying beautifully vibrant and green. Every inch of this tent is optimized—each plant is soaking up light, nutrients, and water precisely as they need, filling the room with energy. Room Conditions 🌡️ • Temperature: 27.3°C • Humidity: 62.6% • CO₂ Levels: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.36 kPa (excellent range for robust flowering) • Lighting Intensity: 818 PPFD Solution & Medium 💧 • Solution Temp: 21.5°C | TDS: 470 ppm | pH: 6.02 • Medium: Moisture 100% (recently dried to 67%), TDS 510 ppm, Temp 22.5°C The “dry-out” to 67% was a strategic move, helping boost nutrient uptake and root strength. Meanwhile, our slight increase in reds seems to be having the desired effect, nudging these ladies further along in the flowering process.
