Hello. This is the end of the veg cycle and the first week in flowering. It's May 30/2023. The Breeders Description said 8 to 9 weeks of flowering. That should take us to August 1st. That would be the start of week 9 and Aug. 8th would be the end of week 9, so I plan to harvest around then. The greenhouse looks a little different than last time. My buddy Jerry brought me some bamboo (he went out of his way on his birthday to do that for me) What A nice guy he is. I used 18 of the longest pieces to make a Scrog type of net to hold up the big buds I hope to get. First year to try this bamboo thing. Hope it goes good. I might have to tie it up tighter. I did a good trim/prune, under the table mostly, but did remove some big fanleaves up top that blocked the lower branch ends/tips from seeing good light. I think it's also good to remove the big fanleaves that don't get much light any more. It promotes more growth up top. While trimming I left the branches that were growing straight down. I'll trim them off today for cuttings, for clones I'll make later. I mix 10ml of liquid seaweed with 1 gallon of water to put the cuttings in. I'll make 6 cups for 6 different plants numbered 1 to 6 so I don't mix them up. 😁 I'll pack up the lights later. I'll mix some transition to flowering, nutrient solution tomorrow. That means a little less N and a little more P and K. Thanks for looking in. Chuck.

Start of week 7... third week of flowering, the ladies are dangerously big... and i got some issues with the distance to the Optic 1 XL, but this strain are not suffering major isues being almost touching the ligth! Already getting small and fluffy buds and growing bigger day by day! I´ve stopped feeding veg nutrients but kept Bloom nutrients... the leafs gradually are fallen under the cannopy but i´m think i´m gonna trim a bit the ladies!

La semana se nos complicó con algunos excesos en 4 de ellas que no aceptaron la misma cantidad de nutrientes y ya estamos regando solo con agua en su ph adecuado. Saludos!

New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. È stata una settimana difficile perché il meteo al centro Italia è impazzito totalmente questo periodo, pioggia abbondante e sbalzi di temperatura hanno dominato per tutta la settimana e la prossima settimana sono previsti altri temporali fastidiosi. Nonostante queste anomalie del meteo le bellissime dutchfemseeds autofiorenti direttamente nel terreno non temono la pioggia, non hanno paura del fresco notturno, non hanno paura del terreno totalmente bagnato ed infangato ma bensì continuano a crescere rapidamente e di tipo compatto, le prime diramazioni ai 3 internodi sono già evidenti e le piante iniziano di già a mostrare i primi peletti bianchi, tra circa dieci giorni si vedranno le prime infiorescenze e come ogni anno le autofiorenti della dutchfem seeds ogni varietà crescerà in maniera epocale e piene di infiorescenze gustose e resinose! Adorano il clima italiano ed io adoro sempre di più queste varietà così complete!

Week 6 Flower Up until flush, she was only given PK, sugars and sweeteners, and the microbes (listed above). Everything else has been stopped to ensure a proper flush. She started her flush on Day 40 as I want to get a nice fade on her after a long flush. My girls are in coco and perlite, in fabric pots sat on benches so they dry out within 2 days. Because of this I can flush a lot of water through them without overwatering. Infact, the amount of water I put through them doesn't make a difference to how quickly they dry. Good air movement around the pots also helps them dry, and stops any stagnant air within the lower half of the tent and within the plants, preventing any moulds. When flushing, I first feed just enough water to create a run off into the tray so I can read the ppm and pH value. Doing this lets you know how your plant has been performing; whether she's been way off in pH and locked out by having a high/low pH and high ppm, or if she's been doing just fine with a pH range within tolerance and around the same ppm value or less than you've been feeding. This girl was in perfect health, with a good pH and ppm. After that, I flush up to 30ltr and then take a second reading from the last bit of run off. The ppm is the main thing I look at this time, to see how low I've taken it from the flush. Personally, I find the girls fade much sooner, and more overall by doing a bigger flush as it takes almost all of the nutrients out of the coco within a few days. That leaves the plant with nothing but her own stored nutrients to feed on for the next 2+ weeks. A better flush means a better, cleaner smoke. She's stacked up and swelling by the day with huge buds. Not the frostiest strain I've ran, but still covered in trichomes and extremely strong scented. She smells of mixed berries and grapes 🍇 I can't wait to try! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

With the last heat wave, I had an answer to one of my questions, clearly my chiller is not doing the trick. I have water temperatures that went up to 27°, which is way too much, the plants deprived of oxygen, started to declare several deficiencies due to an assimilation slowed by the lack of oxygen. It is then that a nasty fungus came to say bijour, it is me MR pythium! It was necessary to act, at the risk of having to restart the culture. So I applied hydrogen peroxide and ROOT ROT X, and both products are doing harm to this nasty pythium, things are now back to normal. On the other hand, the plants had a decreased growth for 10 to 15 days, so I'm going to extend my growth for 10 to 20 days, that is to say 1 or 2 soups, I'll choose according to the root development of the plants. Before going to flowering, I have to catch up this delay in order to make a nice crop.

First attempt at defoliating today to expose additional bud sites. I’ve seen mixed thoughts on the topic, and in the spirit of trying things out I pulled the trigger. I anticipate a bit of stunting in the short term, but hoping for increased bud density down the line. Increasing dark time in hopes of increased florine, or whatever the flowering hormone is. Again, trying things out. She’s looking great though.

Biobizz květy se od posledního týdne o něco zvětšili a vypadá to ze ještě trochu porostou. Zvětšil se i objem pryskyřice. Vůně ale není moc výrazná. Florganics nevykazuje nějaký pokrok ani po přidání dodatečných živin. Rozdíl můžete vidět na fotografiích.

Lunes 11 de marzo 7 am de 2024: Se dejaran hidratando las semillas por 24 hrs. Martes 12 de marzo 7 am de 2024: pasamos a papel dejamos por 24 hrs. Miércoles 13 de marzo 10 am de 2024: revisamos las semillas y vamos preparando macetas pequeñas para transplante. Miercoles 13 de Marzo 3:30 pm se traspasa a tierra. Viernes 15 de marzo 11:47 pm 2024, ya que abrieron bien se pone bajo lámpara 100w a 30 cm de distancia, tienen domo protector! El lunes en la nueva semana subimos el avance, hasta el Lunes... Sábado 16 de marzo 2024, de las 3 semillas la 1 ya abrió completamente, 2 y 3 están por abrir completamente.

Easy grow, nice pretty plant, kept it small and performed lst early on, nice dense hard buds, wish I had space to run them all. I will be running the rest of my seeds very soon.
