It's been a pretty good week. I did quite a big defoliation, as things were getting crowded. She has a nice flowery smell! I switched to a more flowering dominant feeding, I decreased the Nitrogen and pumped up the phosphorus and potassium. I will soon do a flush, as it looks like the nuts are starting to accumulate at the roots.

Week 16 (Harvest) 1-2 Drying day 1 Temperature: 24.5 to 19.5 degrees Humidity: 65% to 50% The girls are ready to be harvested! Before chopping them down, i took a lot of pictures. I was able to remove most of the soil from the Biscotti #2 to see the rootball. I hang the plants as a whole to have a slow dry. The exhaust fan is on setting 4. 2-2 Drying day 2 Temperature: 19.1 to 17.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 57% I changed the exhaust fan to setting 2 because setting 4 was a bit high in my opinion. 3-2 Drying day 3 Temperature: 19.9 to 18 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked up on the drying plants, and i see there are some buds touching other buds, so i chopped the plants in half. The buds are still to the main stem for a slow dry, but are hanging more spreaded out to prevent any budrot issues. I changed the exhaust fan to setting 1, as someone told me that it was enough air movement for drying. 4-2 Drying day 4 Temperature: 19.8 to 18.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% 5-2 Drying day 5 Temperature: 19.9 to 18.8 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked on the drying plants and the buds are shrinking a bit, they are getting a little bit crispy on the outside aswell, I hope they wont dry as fast, and i aim for a 12/14 day dry. For the next grow i already germinated 2x Chemdog (GreenHouseSeeds) 2x Gorilla Kush (GanjaFarmerSeeds) and 1x Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds) And I have some upgrades planned aswell! I bought a autopot kit with 4 15L pots, this way the plants will have water and air 24/7 whenever they need it. I have seen alot of great results using autopots so i am very exited to try it out! Day 29. A bit of a slow grower but she'll catch up.

I’m not sure how much stretch to expect in the coming week, but it has already grown about 10 cm, which concerns me. That’s why I set up the SCROG net now. It looks a bit strange, but still better than before. By the way, I measured the pH of the water I’ve been using for the past three months—it’s at 7.5. However, the soil looks like it can handle it.

ciao a tutti, le piante sembrano stare bene. Da quando ho tolto lo scrog non mi sembra ci siano state molte differenze nella struttura generale delle piante, sembrano stare su anche senza l'aiuto della rete. I fiori hanno iniziato a formarsi, ma ho alzato la lampada di qualche cm perché la punta dei fiori della purple punch stavano diventando albini per la troppa luce (che stava causando il problema), mentre nessun problema nella glookies. Le piante sono alte all'incirca 40 cm e sono molto simili per superficie occupata, tuttavia la glookies ha una settimana in meno di vegetativa rispetto alla purple punch, la quale essendo a forte predominanza indica (10%-90%) si è allungata meno nelle prime settimane di fioritura rispetto alla glookies (30%-70%). La purple punch rimane comunque a mio avviso più compatta e ramificata rispetto all'altra pianta. Ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua con la quantità di fertilizzanti scritta sopra e ho aggiunto infine direttamente nella soluzione circolante 15 ml di pH- poichè il pH aveva raggiunto un valore di 6.6. edit giorno 25: si inizia a sentire un certo odore super dolce. Il pH si è assestato sui 5.9 prima di versare 10l d'acqua con l'aggiunta di 0,8ml/l di floragrow 1,6ml/l di floramicro 2,4ml/l di flrabloom 1ml/l di calmag Le piante sembrano stare molto bene👌

4/8 - They are doing great. PPFD at 800. Debating if I want to do CO2 this grow, because I could easily get 1000 PPFD out of this light. That means adding a dehumidifier to keep a sealed environment, but don't think there's enough of a cost benefit. Might just add more far red at lights on and lights off to try and get a little more vegetative stretch before I switch over to 12/12. Clock is ticking. Mother-in-law shows up 6/15, and I'll want it chopped by then. 4/8 - on further calculation, I'm switching to flower today. Never switched this early before, but we'll see how it goes, eh? 4/9 - prepping for vacation. Bought new 10 gal Roughneck storage container, mixed new nute mix 2:1:2. EC 1.40 with 0.3 tap water. 11ml of pH down to get PH from 6.4 to 5.8. Ditching the auto fill. Too high risk for flooding without flare fittings. Don't trust cheap-ass quick connect push fittings. 4/10 - turned off "seedling vpd mode" which kept humidity artificially high. Turned on 2nd bank of LED lights, so system is pulling about 370W with lights on, still significantly dimmed down. Turned on light cooling circ fan, which is a sealed aluminum labyrinth tied to two 4"vents. Although, almost all the heat this lamp generates is from radiation, not thermal loss of the LEDs, so the heat sink is barely warm. Lights up to 16" over canopy to allow growth while on vacation. Ppfd at canopy 800. Room temp 81, humidity 73. Auto water time is 30 sec per pot.

Day 43. Queen is reaching sky, had to move lamp one more time. Margaret is getting fatter, loads of mini colas and buds, really compact version of that strain. Today - plain water, next watering they will get molasses tea. Then plain water and at the end of week - full blast of nutes ! To me it looked like top leaves of Queen getting bleached lightly, think i have just 30 cm left of height, let's hope she will be massive , while staying low ;))) Her structure is very stretch out, a bit too big distance between nodes compared to what i like or would want to see from perfect plant. Day 46. Queen still has obvious light bleach, quantum boards makes your plants hungry for cal mag. Hope it and later silica feed will bring all to normal. Both girls pack like crazy, really fun to observe. Both looks to be not so far from 1g/W ;))) No third needed !!! Hopefully ... ;))) Tomorrow they will get only third feed in theirs life ... Nutes companies would hate me ;))) Day 48. Queen is super sensitive to Mag, second Cap-Mag feed and she burns again ... Will go water, water, silica, water now. Will see how they look after this. Girls still drink fast, there is no lockouts, but rusty spots tells everything. I noticed that this strain don't need big feed, she grows nice when hungry. Happy Growing !

Pistols and more pistols! The plant is in full bloom and starting to get a little frosty. This is the most exciting week of my growth.

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Hello Diary. It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Purple Punch sprouted. As you can see in the photos, the plants look beautiful, the flowers are large and hard, full of trichomes. I believe the yield will be better than I had hoped. The smell is very intense. I would also say that Purple Punch is quite resistant, along with them, as you know on "Farm", there is also one plant Watermelon Auto that has suffered a lot due to over-feeding, which cannot be said for Purple Punch. The treatment they receive is the same. Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values ​​between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation. I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water. The amount of harvest was good even though I lost basically one whole plant to the meldew. So the harvest would have even been double.. But yeah I can not complain about the quantity. I will see how the smoke test goes 💪

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work.
