😍😍⛰️ Day 56. Hi, I'm back. I'll give you the photos of day 55. During the absence of the plants, they faced a root problem. I solved this problem by washing the pots and reducing the tds of the substrate to 500 ppm and using Azos in 2. Cycles.

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. [END OF WEEK 01]

Great week for noticable change! Buds are forming, calyxes are swelling, and pistils are changing colors. Light defoliation of fan leaves only to expose lower bud sites. These girls reacted to the stress with a much heavier scent.

Not much to report. Their was some slight leaf curling so I bumped the light up more and hooked up the ventilation to get air flow going. Posted a video of the foliar feeding. Everything is half strength; Deep Breath, Snow Storm Ultra, and Alchemist Stout all 2.5ml. Yucca added at 1/16 tsp. Waited to foliar feed until now because I noticed the curling and realized I left it sealed off to long. Negative Pressure raised the humidity since there was no air flow. Other then that everything is good. Leafs are also a darker green then the Migro tent. But the Migro tent is a fucking beast, boosted the height up to the same as this BudBox because of the height. Karmic Connection will for sure be kept a lot shorter then Spotless Mind since the BlackDog will burn them if it gets to close.

Sensi Seeds Jack Herer 8 weeks of veg completed 28th Jan 2020 I performed some high stress training techniques (HST) to my Jack herer Girl during the week. Basically I pinched and bent the stems of the longest branches to make them grow horizontally rather than straight up in the air. I did this to keep the canopy reasonably even giving all the potential bud sites an even distribution of sunlight. Hopefully this will eliminate a lot of the "popcorn" small buds and create nice fat colas. We shall see in a few weeks time 😃 She also got a nice big drink of High tea which the plants really seem to love . Overall I am very happy with this plants health and characteristics. 4/22/24 🍓z I was going to take her down after I trimmed off all of the excess leaves and gave her some of the leftover maximum strength food from a space panda in the next tent. She really started taking off again, so I’m gonna keep her going. I’m gonna keep them all going and doing just great really starting to put out a lot of resin. They smell fantastic. I’m having a lot of fun with them so I’m gonna keep them going. I could take them down right now they are ready, but I just wanna grow them a little more. 👍👍👍 4/23/24 Wow they are great. ZStraverriez...hard to type.... is READY! I took the leaves off a couple days ago to see if I would get any growth but nope. So I will use FloraKleen 10ml per gal and do a 2 or 3 gallon flush and put her back in for a day. I harvested the CBD. It smells like berries, just great just the right size in a 2 gallon pot with no training. I found a seed in the CBD, the others might be seeding as well......that is my oldest tent probably has pollen somewhere. Still everything is good, but im getting a new tent...I also just got a MarsHydro light for 100 it's the light bar one. 4/23/24 Apricot and straw. gorilla are growing good. Zstraberriez....which is a HUGE BITCH TO SPELL....but WOW smells like berries and vanilla and happiness. I let some dry for a few hours and put it in the Arizer X2 and she was great. These are so fast and the colors are beautiful too. It's like a perfect autumn day with all the leave changing color. Except my colors are way better and I can smoke them.... 4/24/24 🍓🍓🦍🍑👍💎💎💎 I am seeing lots of resin form. I thought they would be ready to go, but it looks like they just kind of took a little pause and I trimmed off the unnecessary and fading leaves and they got their second wind and now seeing a lot of resin production💎💎💎. they smell great. They look like they’re ready to keep going for another two weeks so I’m gonna do that and I’ll just harvest a little bit along the way I smoke some of all of them this morning and they’re just great. 👍👍👍 4/25/24 I ended up doing a little bit heavier, feeding than usual. I did about 2 mL of all the supplements and now I’m seeing lots of resin. I’m very careful all the other nutrients have burned my plants horribly but I’m very careful in general. Hydroponic seems to do a good job without burning. Fastbuds has a 25 pack of all their different strains mixed together for 100. I might do that. I’m kind of neurotic. I may need to know what I’m growing I think about this. I really like all of their plants they have a personality all of their own. I like Seedsman and the F1 it’s from Royal queen seeds. 4/25/24 🍑🍓🍓 marsHydro FC-E1500. I just got this delivered today. It cost 100. Although it is a powerful amazing light is no good for me at home. The TS-1000 lights you can move the driver outside the tent and then the top of the light has a little resting tray. This one is totally for commercial use, you cannot remove the driver and its pretty heavy, sold construction all the way, but in my small space I’m gonna have to wrap this up and put it away. It’s a 10 out of 10 it’s a beautiful light super bright. It’s everything you want in a grow light for a commercial space but it is way too hot for a small 24” x 24” tent that I grow in. I have 3 tents and can't run lights over 90Watts or the room gets too hot, and I can grow 3 or 4 perfectly with the TS-1000 set at about only 90 watts, its just perfect. This will get far too hot in the small tent, unless I want to set my air conditioner to 72 and get a massive electric bill! so I’m gonna stick with these TS-1000, the most perfect home light for grow tents I have ever used. I’ll give this light away someday but the Mars Hydro TS-1000 is still the absolute best light I’ve ever used. I have 4 of them now. 4/28 🍓🍓🍑👍💦💦💦💎💎💎 I can’t believe the amount of res in that they are all starting to put out. They are really getting their second wind. I am just having a lot of fun with them so I’m gonna keep them going as long, probably for a couple more weeks at least until they are no longer viable, but I should be able to keep them going pretty good for a while. 👍

Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

The plant is looking great! Very bushy with many tops. A rather flat canopy. Still need to do some more training to flatten things out a little more.

Greenhouse is reallt heating up goong select some for outdoor growing some for inside tbe mars hydro tent and light and some to finsh in the greenhouse so we will have the best of all worlds and will see witch ones prefrom best

Stoped LST about a week ago as it's really bushy now and canopy flat witch is good grow as been good switch to bloom as the stretching has stoped leaves still abit yellow I fear this might be due to night time temps droping to below 15 C was wondering if I could defoliate this auto as it's really bushy now don't know if I should or can any advice ? Ok I have decided to go forward with the defoliation as the RH in tent is very high and it's winter at the moment so my risk for mold and bud root is high so I feel with the defoliation it really opened up the canopy great for air circulation and lower buds are getting much need light now tryed to keep all big fan leaves that are on the out side posted pics and plant seems stressed due to it leaves droped and hanging abit but hopefully she will bounce back the canopy in the centre was a mix of leaves on leave s on leaves like no way air would ever get in there lol funny thing once I opened her up there was nice size buds under there don't know how they got light but they did some how get food from main steam I guess

She is getting fat! What a great plant she is - again, little to no deficiencies, other than some light burn but I could not complain to have such strong genetics for my first ever grow! Trichomes are not too cloudy, so still a while to go but what an AUTO!

63 days of flowering have passed, according to various colleagues they are 1/2 weeks behind on the swelling. But to me they look squat enough to pick up. Quite evident smell of sweet Hashy. Fed lightly with Bio Bloom but it was more of a rinse. 2.22l per day for 6 days, including 2 days put 1 drop of Bio Bloom in the irrigation

Week 11 now and this beautiful Gelato Auto is starting to get thick.
