Day 42 first day of the week I turned the Growers Choice ROI-720 up to 30% its using 216w at 240v. Day 44 pictures were after some simple hand bending lst. This week we've seen alot of growth in all the plants. They need water about ever 4 days and between all 4 they take a gallon and a half untill the get a little run off out of the bottom. Roots are starting to come out of the bottom of the pots. Day 44 I noticed some spots on plant bs leaf I think it was from a nat or something I saw in the tent. And same day plant d has very slight yellowing on the tips of the newest growth. Think it's a deficiency of some sort, I'll look into it. Day 45 Transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots with fox farms ocean forest soil. Didn't water today because the root balls where still pretty moist. Raised light to maintain 24" about the canopy. Day 46 Watered all 4 plants took about 4.25g of water. PH 6.3 @ 73° F. Day 47 Think I shouldn't have watered yesterday plants A, B, and D are drooping. Plant B has some light brown/yellow spots on the middle growth and very slight yellowing on the tips of the newer growth. Plant D has different spots dark red/brown almost burnt orange on middle growth and yellowing on the tips of the leaves. Weird how plant C just doesn't care what I do to it it just keeps getting bushier and wider leaves, never yellowing or drooping. Day 48 None of the plants were dropping the evening, and the spots and yellowing havnt gotten any worse. They grew alot since I measured yesterday.

Well nothing happened really I just did a light defoliation you can’t even see anymore 😂 in week 3 of flower the big defoliation will happen so yeah Other than that I only really removed training clips

These pics were taken on day of chop 1/8/24. Didn't get any pics of them hanging, will get pics of the trimming process in about a week when she's done drying. I typically dry for around 8-10days with 14 being ultimate goal but I'm fine with 10. Will update in a week or so with the smoke report and final conclusion!

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Well, this is the first one of flora, they already showed some pistils which are the initial sign of flora and so let's move on today I added 1ml of top bloom from top crop and let's see what happens to this grow I still think it will last a few more 8 weeks until the harvest, any questions feel free to ask or help me with something I haven't seen and I'm open to tips too! =D

Nutes were getting a bit high this week so I reduced it for the coming one. Plant is maturing nicely, but not enough couldy trichomes yet. Overall it looks very promising though.
