@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/7- Here we go with the new addition to the FastBuds family, Papaya Sherbert fem photo. I placed one seed in a glass of lukewarm tap water (non-chlorinated well water). Within 24hrs there was a root beginning to show coming out of the seed. I then placed the seed between two moistened paper towels that I then put in a vented plastic container. I put the container in a dresser drawer where it would be warm and dark. 5/9- When I checked on the seed yesterday, there was a substantial root about 1/2" long coming from the seed. I then planted the seed, root first with just the seed head exposed, in a 2" starter pot filled with peat that I pre-moistened with 6.5ph well water. I placed the starter pot in the bottom of a Solo Cup that I had cut in half. I then placed a clear Solo Cup over it to act as a humidome and placed it under the lights in the grow room. Today the little Papaya Sherbert showed her pretty little self and so begins this journey together with her! 5/12- Two days ago the Papaya Sherbet sprouted her first true leaves and today she's really showing some vigor and some impressive growth! Today I went ahead and transplanted her for the first time into a 2qt pot filled with pre-amended coco/perlite. Before placing the Papaya Sherbet into her new home I coated the hole with Xtreme Gardening MYCOS, then placed the Papaya Sherbet and watered her in. 5/15- One week from breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet feminized photoperiod is looking fantastic and doing great with a second set of leaves now out! She's liking her bigger pot and is really beginning to take off now. I should be able to do her final transplant, which will move her outside, next week as our weather is rapidly improving... Bananenalarm auf der Kräuterfarm. Die Euforia zwittert. Ich habe ein paar Pollensäcke entfernt, aber bei diesem dichten Wuchs werde ich da niemals alle finden. Ich lasse es drauf ankommen, denn die Dos Si Dos ist nächste Woche reif und ich finde den Gedanken eine Kreuzung aus der wunderbar zitronig riechenden Euforia und der Lemon Haze zu haben spannend.

The plant continue to grow incredibly strong and fast from now on I well slow down on grow nutrientes cuz the leaves are very dark green and we are well into flowering meaning they don't need that much not nitrogen anymore. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

So far she looks like she's doing well. I'm not getting any leaf curling from either over watering or nutes so I'm happy with that. Just some minor leaf discoloration. I feel like she exhausted her nitrogen early.

What is up you sexy displays of humanness? It's week something lol.. 9 I think. I always forget if a week is passed then counted or vice versa lol. The plants look waaaaay better from the first time I flowered. I think the environmental controls like the AC and the light distance are finally all getting locked in. I could be messing up nutrients but based on what I see I'm not burning or underfeeding to my knowledge. I'm praying for that last fattening week for these things to bulk up because I'm pretty sure they have maybeeeeee 2 weeks then a 3-day flush. Yall are the experts though so feel free to weigh in. Especially with the plants looking all over the place. Ill bust out the electronic microscope for some trichome pics next week closer towards harvest time. I keep reading it's a long flower and they still have a lot of white pistons. Plants are hella icier though compared to the first run, they look stickier, and overall I'm feeling more accomplished. I can't tell if I'm leagues away from pulling 1 lb per plant. Now the right light...... ugh.. idk why but I was trying to get my damn BN link dual timer programmed bc I have the closet in there still vegging and once I plugged everything in that right light had half the board go out again. This happened a while back and after I've checked all the connections it just randomly came back on one day and I have not questioned it over the months. Kinda pissed I cant have 1 smooth day but that's life I guess haha. oh weird question but my rooms are completely sealed. they don't really have ducting or new air pumping in. Could the plants be suffocating themselves getting that big and flowering in a closed room? I've heard the air you breathe is more than enough most time and I don't want to burn unnecessary money but If they are logically just not getting enough Co2 to transpire then.. ya.. you get my point lol. Oh and I scratched the pk 13/14 bc i felt like I was pushing my luck with it only recommended for 1 week and also it's about the end of my knowledge so I figured cutting something extra was the safe bet. the leaves are all dark too

Leaves starting to brown. First thought was over fertilizing but guessing calcium. Did add powdered oyster shells to dirt mix but needing alot more.

Nice growth in vegetative stage considering I'm using a hps lamp.. Starting to branch out nicely after topping after the 5th node.. Cut the first branches off at the first true leaves so left 8 main growth points.. First round of lst completed, just using wire to flatten out the branches.. defoliated the main stem of all the shade leaves.. Will adjust again as the plants go into preflower.. Will also keep trimming off all the lower branching as I want all the energy going in to 8 buds per plant.. some of those trimmed branches will become clones as the next round I will be running SOG and growing 16 plants in 11L pots.. 19.08.2024 officially D140... the additionnal week, have been benefict to this fat lady. as i can see some ambering trichrome on the remaining cola. so far so good she get is second harvest. the 3rd and final harvest should be in 1 or two week, as i will need space in the tent for the camperberry clone, and will give the time to the leftover small and unripped nugget to finish their job. the 1st harvest is dried a d have been trim for total weight of 121.5g. it already smell more fuity that its little sister, it have been put in a growbag for a nice curring. the 2nd harvest give 1454.6 g of wet sticky bud expecting 180g of dried flower as they are more leaffy and have more stem comparing to the 1st harvest. the 3/4 pound is still in sight.

Switched to flowering this week (Nov. 1) and of course drained, cleaned and refilled the reservoir buckets with the flowering nutrient solution. Cleaning this week indicated more growth on the interior surfaces than normal so I also did a full H2O2 (3%) clean, with a good rinse afterwards. Also ran the air stone in a cleaning cycle for a few minutes. You can see that the discoloration from last week is gone, thankfully. Keeping the pH in check though I did let it slip with a few days in between readings there. Thankfully no substantial effect. I'm not sure I love the overall geometry of the plant... but it's healthy and has a decent number of colas forming so that's all that counts. Compared to the chilled and recirculated water system I used last time around, this is MUCH easier. My reservoir temps are a bit higher than I'd like but the Hydroguard is doing it's job and no issues so far. Fingers crossed it stays this way. Thanks for reading growmieverse.

Day 43 (Second Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re well into day 43 of our second grow and deep into the flowering phase. 🌸 The transition has been amazing to witness, with our plants showing significant bud development. The plants are producing beautiful, dense buds, and it’s incredible to see the daily changes and the rapid development. We’ve been maintaining the humidity between 50-60%, but we’re keeping a close eye on it to prevent any issues. We’re considering whether to get a dehumidifier to bring it down to the ideal 40-50%. The SCROG net continues to work wonders, ensuring even light distribution and supporting the heavy buds. Our Timor shield mantis is still patrolling the garden, keeping pests at bay naturally. She’s become quite the guardian! The plants are looking healthy and vibrant. We're excited to see how they continue to develop over the coming weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this stage? Tues pm: raised light 4” and turned up to 80%. PPFD 750 center to 350 on the edges. Used to trash bag from mulch cover. Wed: yesterday trimming up BB#1 I took 6 cuttings. Tnite I put them in CloneX; then into Root Riot cubes. Under a 15W 24hrs light cycle. Maybe I’ll have roots on a few in 10 days. Fri: Refill Earthbox 2.5G, raised light to 22in from canopy and 100% power.
