Day 118 Another check fan alert. Exhaust stopped working. We’re now back in action. Hoping this one will hold out for another week until harvest! Next batch of seeds have been put into Jiffy pellets. Will update on the plant I moved outdoors right before I put them into flower. It looks incredible! Day 119 Trichomes are still glass-like. Some are beginning to cloud, but it looks like probably another week or so to go. Day 121 Turning the humidity down to try and simulate fall weather. Try and get these plants to flower a bit quicker before the get nanners Day 124 Just starting to get some amber trichomes! Ready for harvest. Putting it into a 2 day flush and then she’s getting cut down!

End of Week 4 (for those following along at home) and there are trichomes everywhere! Both of these plants are putting out sugar like there is no tomorrow. Velvet Moon is smelling a lot like tropical punch drink (Holy Punch x Dosi Dos) and it’s delicious. The Black Apple has a much weaker smell which isn’t really defined for the nose yet. I stripped a few more side branches this week as things were tangling up as there was too much going on. Both look very happy and have plenty of air flowing through them now. BAH is slightly taller than VM. Both stretched approximately double their height and not much more. That may have been due to me topping the plants 3 days before flip to try and keep heights limited. It worked well as i am at the exact distance to the light i wanted to be for 100% power (50cm). BAH has has some stems go a pink/res colour but no other plant changes. It’s hot here due to summer so been running the girls at night and they sleep during the day. Looking forward to documenting the bud development over the next few weeks as these stack weight and start maturing. I think this will be a 10 week flower minimum.

I cannot believe it, 14 days to go then I am going to harvest, I am confident that I would of flushed Lamby quiet thoroughly, for some reason weed needs it’s roots to flushed if you want a super smooth smoke, I wonder if fruit was the same as weed, would we flush the roots to get such tasty and juicy fruit or veggies, or would we bare with that sourness. The real test will be on the 15th of December when it comes to my test smoke, then I shelf Lamby until January after returning from the festive season, by then I would have achieve top tier curing.

Mar 31 I think things are going very well, one plant has rusty spots, pretty sure its calcium deficiency, will be upping across the board. Got the runoff ppm to a good spot, will be going back to 800ppm feeds by week 8, 750ppm this week. I want more stable genetics next time, I am way to new to be dealing with basically 3 different strains, that's what it feels like, and I have very little time as it is. Thinking of upping PPFD some more, i think the droop of the one plant was just adapting to watering till runoff, I want to see some fattening AND RIGHT NOW.

16.6.25: Today is Harvest Day! Well this has certainly been a fun one! Really pleased with how she turned out, when I cut her down, it was actually heavy. I'll be interested to see what we yielded here! I did take all of the fan leaves off and some of the sugar leaves too. Just to make the trimming easier, and also help prevent mould during the drying process. The trichomes were very hard for me to tell, but they have quite a lot of amber. So I may have grown some sleeping potion. We will soon find out I guess! 😅 I decided to leave the plant longer than I usually would, I did this to see the difference in effects. This is a low THC strain, so in theory shouldn't produce a couch lock effect. So if it does, it will give me a better idea of the harvest windows. Some of you helped choose this strain to grow, so if you've followed along, I hope you enjoyed this journey. What a smell coming off these babies in veg. Had to turn fan on with filter. Stinking up my house without it. Plants are doing great with scheduled auto water and now lights being at 18 inches at 70w. Didn't realize how intense these lights were. Still short and stalky but starting to stretch now. Showing minimal pistills in 2 of 4 plants. Will start flowering in week 6 Runoff till about 20%. 1500EC in reservoir. Runoff is around that range so all is good. Topped 3 out of 4 plants this week. Was just going to bend main stalk but not much room to do so.

This week was the beginning of my L.S.T. and some defoliating in order to open up the canopy and allowing more light to and Air flow. About two more weeks and we will be flipping into flower can't wait.

Day 86 12/05/2021- Week 5 of flower almost done hopefully by the end of the month. Went out on a trip and GoPro never turn on for the last two days bummer but will upload time lapse videos daily. Today the lady got nutrients as well. Day 89 12/08/2021- Today the lady got water, really hoping to see buds starting to fatten up. Day 91 12/10/2021- So today the lady got a special treat, freshly collected rain water. She is just doing her thing and making those buds. I have also finally put the spider farmer SF-2000 at 100%. Coming into the week strong. the 2 in rain science bags stretched and are some big plants now, and the shorties in the fabric pots are tryin to catch up. Everything looks good and starting the week with a nice watering gets the girls primed for the week and get the tent nice and humid too! Excited for these ladies!!! ___________________________________ I LST'd the back two no problem but when i attempted the front ones i popped the right one so i quickly backed off till they get a bit bigger. 12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

So much growth. I had the 1000w light up to 100% for a bit but it's just too hot so I put it back down to 75%. Dec 19: this one has some burnt leaves. I can't exactly tell if it's nutrient burn or light burn. I switched it into the cooler spot the White Widow was in, and I added a bunch of water. This one drank maybe a third of the water since Friday, at least twice as much as the other one. The pH on this one is still reading really low but my tap water is 7.8 and the White Widow is 7.6. I'm just going to watch it before I start adding pH up. It's very strange. This one is still stretching like crazy at the main cola points. She's starting to bloom but not as much as the white widow.

Starting to get a smell and buds are starting to stack. Did one more top dress with the power bloom 2-8-4. Leaves slightly curling so I’ve been adding just a little more nitrogen through the Buddha grow. Other than that, stems starting to sway so she’s gonna get heavy soon. Sugar leaves are smelling identical to fruit loops or fruity pebbles 😊

Hey y'all sorry I've been a little slow with the updates but life is busy... You know. Anyway let's check in on our Indoor girl. The flowering stretch is waaaaay under way she's grown almost double her height in the last two week. I've had a bend quite a few tall stems down. To keep her flat but there's flowers every where. Since we're only two weeks from harvest it's time to put away the Dutch Science and begin our flush. Lots of water and regular TDS checks of run off are the mission, a TDS value of less than 250 ppm is the goal. Week eight also means it's time to defoliate ,which is awesome cause this girl was looking very shabby. Now shes got that nice breezy up do. Looking forward to seeing what those Big Bud genetics can do for our beautiful Northern Lights. 😎🇨🇦

Scrooge is showing signs of improvement, displaying a healthier appetite and increased nutrient uptake. The recent adjustment in feeding regimen appears to be positively impacting its growth, promising a more robust development in the days ahead. 😊🌿

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and hopefully she picks up the flowering pace while the weather and sunlight are still okay. Sep 27: this sativa pheno is progressing but it is a bit too slow for this area. If I had forced it with 12 h darkness in mid-July it would have worked, but instead I just phyto-forced with a 730 nm far red light starting about Aug 1. The red light is enough for the indica type plants to finish in time here, but it doesn’t seem to be enough for the sativas. Whatevs, I have more than enough and this will all be going for hash anyway. Sativas can be grown here but they need to be forced by light deprivation in July and not just phyto-forced starting in August. Sep 29: two week forecast is suddenly much better so she’s still got a chance to finish properly. Fingers crossed. It hit 0 C here last night and daytime high of only 8-9C so we’re mostly done for the season.
