week three flower everything looks fine so far :D eight days after defoliation I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops gelato 1 threw some balls, but I removed them as soon as I saw them, I'll keep watching it!

Warmed up again, 34c highs, but cool nights down to 14c. Flowering has really sped up, this F1's flowering response is very fast, just tons and tons of pistils and the start of trichomes already. Did another compost tea this week, few hours of drip irrigation and a weekly spray of LCPT, easy going this week. Rains coming next week, but fingers crossed for some good weather over September to finish. Would like to push another 6 weeks if possible, but anything after the first week of October is really hard due to the constant 95% humidity.

11/22 Day 31 from flip. Today is the first day that I took a tape measure from the lights to the topmost part of the canopy and I haven’t seen a change. I’ll check again tomorrow but I’m really hoping the stretch is finally done. I still have about 10 inches of space between the lights and canopy so I think I’ll be ok with that. I took the chance to do what is hopefully a near final defoliation of a few leaves and some smaller sucker branches that won’t amount to much. Everything still looks super healthy, no red anywhere on any stems and no discoloration on the leaves. Everything is spot on. Light adjusted to 840 PAR / 36.3 DLI. 11/25 Day 34 from flip. I made some adjustments to my nute mix to be more firmly at 1.3 EC, which means I’ve added some additional nutes into the mix. I also tested runoff EC and discovered things were spiking a bit more than I’d like. So I mixed up a few batches of my new mix and I’ve been feeding every few hours to flush things out a little bit. I’ve brought it down from 1.9 to 1.5 so far after this. I may finally need to break down and set up some timers to feed multiple times throughout the day. Obviously once a day is not getting done right now. 11/26 Day 35 from flip. I finally got the timer hooked up to my pump to begin automatic watering. For now, I have it set to water at noon for a minute when the lights come on, a 2 minute pause to let that settle, and then 30 seconds more to make sure both are fully saturated. The second fertigation event will be at 6:00 for 45 seconds, and then right before lights off another 45 seconds. I’ll have to keep an eye on it to see if I need to adjust any more for now. I haven’t adjusted the lights since last time, but the latest reading is 885 PAR / 38.2 DLI at the highest point of the canopy. It’ll stay there for now.

Week 10 - - - - - OMG she got frosty!!!!!!!!!!!!! She smells so beautiful! So Citrus! So Lime!! 😂 😍 This week I have added a couple of grams of 20-20-20 fertiliser to her water. For a few weeks now I've been loosing a lot of lower leaves. They turn yellow and fall off. I did send the growcaps rep a pm a couple of weeks ago now asking about the active length of growcaps but it's gone unanswered..... so I took things into my own hands. She seemed to like the boost in nutrients with the amount of frost on her and not dropping any leaves. I do think the growcaps worked very very well at the start but I think they need to make them last a few weeks longer.

Hello. This is the end of veg and the first week of flowering, starting tonight. Man what a cold spring around here. We had a week of over 21* c through the day. But the last couple of weeks have been cold, barely getting over 13* c through the day. I didn't open the tent till noon because it was raining here. So, these plant will be going into flowering tonight. I'll be lowering my bamboo type of net later this week that will hold up the big BlackMoon buds. Got 2 males to work with this year. Panty Punch and Pinoal Kush (my own cross) These males should make some good seeds this year, they are "FREE" if you want to do a diary on them. I use a 3 dollar international stamp and a Christmas card to get them to you, I just want a diary done in return. The plants inside will be put into flowering a week after the ones in the greenhouse. I know it will take me a week to harvest the ones in the greenhouse. The plants in the greenhouse all got a big drink of rainwater last night and all had their first overflow into the reservoir. I'll be mixing up some flowering nutrient for the next watering. Well, that is the end of the FFFB comic book. Hope you enjoyed it. He's one of my favorite artist. suddenly i spotted whats damaging my plants and causing the dots - it is butterfly worms.... Then again i got alot of natural preditors whom i trust to do a great job so i try not to over spray with neem to keep em arround. making sure i kill every maggot i see

Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. She's developing very well,she's responding pretty good to the soil mix I prepared for her,using guanokalong organic solid amendments,with seaweed powder,bat guano,veg pearls.let's see how she keeps progressing.

Ok folks, gunna be one armed for another 6 weeks so I'm just the conductor the true heroes will go unseen. Everything is alive atleast, had a scare yesterday as things got so dried out everything went limp but an hour after feed turned back around. Noticed some yellowing and other coloring coming thru on alot of leaves so I bumped ppm up a little bit this last feed. They dont look like they have a deficiency, it's weird, they look beautiful but with a premature fade almost. I really like Green Buzz' line up/regiment I just have to dial it in which isnt easy since it's a multi strain crop and various size plants. It's very easy to use and makes me feel good knowing it's not poison. Did a minor leaf strip around the tent just to make things fit better. I'll copy and paste this to the diaries for the rest of the crop per usual but go into a little more detail on each plant individually. Pics and vids were taken on day 28 of flower. I'm trying to keep up with these as best I can from start to finish, the flip date was 6.10.19, today is 7.9.19. I fucking love this girl she might be my favorite. Reason why is because I know these nugs are going to swell, and the 1st pheno was such a good smoke but the buds didnt fill in like i hoped so this is redemption. Already has a skunky orange scent when Terps get on your fingers. This one also has dramatic coloring in the foliage must be due to lack of N I assume (could be wrong).
