My first Mephisto run, got a new tent, light, and humidifier from me for Xmas. I started 2 seeds in paper towel in a cd case wrapped in a tshirt in the basement. 1 popped 2 days later, the other split still hasn’t really popped so I stuck it in a plug in a solo cup. I got pissed one night after it didn’t pop when I was drinking, so I started the single Dutch Passion®️Banana Blaze seed I had, it popped and went into a rapid rooter in the new tent 1/5/22. Mephisto Genetics®️Double grape 🍇 (which I’m calling Henrietta) went to her forever 3 gallon fabric pot with the bottom 1/3 FFOF, and the top 2/3 FFHF with a 2 liter greenhouse dome on 1/06/22. Welcome to this world lil lady!

Semana 11 - 03/01 al 10/01 *Cuarto Menguante 09/01* . 04/01: hoy desate todos los hilos y regué. Creo que ya es momento de dejar que la planta fluya. Las ramas ya están cubiertas de brotes. y la punta se ramificó lo suficiente. Influyó en la decisión de desatarla el hecho de que las ramas se estaban marcando en el nudo y me pareció bueno que descanse estas ultimas semanas vegetativas. Al ser mi primera vez no quiero arriesgar mucho. Me preocupa la parte climática. Esta armándose pequeñas tormentas con vientos muy fuertes. 05/01: hoy aplique 1L de agua con dos tapitas de jabón potásico de forma foliar. Aparte regué el suelo. Mucha vitalidad y buena salud. 06/01: hoy aplique Top Veg de Top Crop. 3ml x 1L de agua. Fueron 20L con los que regué. 09/01: hoy regué luego de 3 días sin regar. Le puse bastante agua. Luego de ver el crecimiento que esta teniendo, decidi ponerle malla. Esta semana tratare de comprar y colocarle. Quizá le ponga una malla ahora y otra a los 50cm para que contengan los cogollos.

Day 63 F: Well here we are at the end of a brilliant grow that has seen totally different mixes of heights and genetics successfully completed under the Mars Hydro fc3000 and my own mix of supersoil. Rhe light managed to keep them all at full tilt even though they were at big , differing canopy heights. If inhad used the middle of the room , I could have covered the canopy a lot better and the light would have easily reached the whole canopy despite their odd height differences. I have a Mars tent that will be perfect for this light to totally fill out with 6 plants once I am back at full production and over this slight delay upcoming. The soil has been brilliant from the off , even the small Mexican airline #1 that seemed to struggle with the start up and strength of the mix has finished well. I only added ecothrive , eco life cycle and biosys tea throughout the grow with a couple of grams of Megacrop in flower as a booster. The watering in the beds has been very easy to maintain and keep moist and the more shallow depth has helped check at root level and bottom easily. The immobile nature of the bed has meant that using different strains as the 3 is maybe not ideal , workable , but not ideal and needs some forward planning next time out . Besides that , it has been very simple to manage. The strains have been perfect throughout the weeks with little to no signs of any deficiency. I did remove a lot of fan leaves over the past week to really open the lower parts of the plant to more light for the ripening time . It will also help with the drying time and harvest. There is a lot of really nice colas on these ladies and I cannot recommend the genetics for autos from Fast buds enough. The Strawberry pie finished beautifully and with 2 phenos ro enjoy once dry , I am really looking forward to hitting that one. The six shooter look deadly for the unweary too with their frosty and kush looking purples and reds. Mexican airline have done a nice job on fattening their buds at the end but the #1 is way less bountiful than her sister. Let's see what a drying period does to their overall yields now. They look so big when 1st hung to dry but it is so disheartening watching them shrink to tiny versions of the originals. The dark period has made them a little more tacky without a doubt and their smells are so obvious going through the plants cutting. Temps are at around 10°c in the room with no lights on so this will be a long ,low and slow dry . I do have the dehumidifier on its highest setting to avoid these fat buds developing any bud rot but the low temps will also be a huge help. I have a nice mix of aromas among these with lemon , fresh cut fruit , candy cane sweet and a spicy fuel . Roll on the harvest and cure now. Hopefully a harvest report will follow within 10-14 days. 07/01/22: Pre Flower week - lights have been switched to 12/12 and are at 80% still. The plants are really showing their sativa genes with huge growth. plants are average 70cm although two are 90cm. bud sites have finally started to show growth and lightening of the green toward the end of the the week. humidity is low - the carbon bag seems to have done a good job also.

Also wish I had scrog to make better use of this little light , Day 83 started a flush , will part harvest in a few days as I’m going away, buds could be better they are somewhat sticky pistils look ready , Ordered a loupe a little late . has been a good learning experience, Notes - don’t over do nutes early - change res more frequently - try lollipop and use a scrog - invest in a higher watt light for yield and tighter bud , - don’t grow near summer heat major issue , autumn and spring more ideal

Day 14 for these kre8 Genetics CandyMan regular seeds but I'm feeling confident I've got at least 2 girls growing 🤞🏻 been on mild feed of monkey Nutrients every couple days and seem to be enjoying it 😏 gave them just water today. The pots will be topped up with soil in the next day or so then I can take the pins out and start topping & training them 😍 Update: I've now just topped them on Day 19

Day 9 and I'm super proud of how things are going! Runtz stopped growing for about 3 days (d5-d8) since she showed signs of stress/deficiency. After the leaves started greening I watered twice with ph 5.9 water only and she started growing again. I will give another "flush" and I will reintegrate nutrients on a lighter dose. Zkittlez looking very healthy and quick to grow. The two Sticky B look really similar for now too - considering to top one in the future and see the difference! Day 13 Runtz is really slow comparing to the others and the deficiency/lock seems to still be there even tho I adjusted my ph to 5.8 and hold on nutes for the last waterings. Zkittlez still working very quicly and considering topping and LST in the next couple of days. The two Sticky are growing pretty much the same and look healthy! I started watering more (from 0.3l to 0.7l per day) since I'v been told that 60% coco requires much more water than I thought. I'm trying to promote root grow watering in circle around the plant, not touching the stem. Seems like they like it so far.
