Recap.. Medium: Coco and Leca mix in 1L grow bags transitioning to 5L bag Lighting: Greenhouse light by day, 600W LED by night Nutrients: EHG Micro & Grow, Biodyne, CalMag pellets, Phytha tonic, diluted fish tank water Training: Starting early LST Plants are now entering Week 5 of veg and responding well to the environment. The roots are well established in the 1L bags, and new growth is looking lush and vibrant. Started light LST to encourage lateral branching and even canopy development. They're drinking more now, so I’m adjusting watering frequency accordingly and alternating between fish tank water + Biodyne and a mild EHG Grow mix. Sprayed Neudosan as a preventative measure against spider mites picked up on Blue Cheese. No signs of pests or stress so far on the Supercheese clones. CalMag pellets are helping maintain strong leaf development and overall vigor. Planning to up-pot soon if growth continues at this rate. 1/12: lots more leaf tucking today. She's taking waterings like a champ. I'm always so worried about overwatering but she seems to be growing well 1/14: did a little more lst, so she's looking a little bit like an ugly duckling. Hoping the effort plays out. Attempted to adjust some clips and accidentally broke a stem. I splinted that up with some tape... Also my attempt at a fim is growing out... She's looking a little rough right now, but honestly, aren't we all? 1/15: watered and some leaf tucking this morning. Excited for the top to not look like a hot mess! 1/17: the ugly duckling phase is strong with this one. Gave her a good watering today and attempted some leaf tucking, only sacrificing one fan leaf.

Hi Guys, Grow Diaries for whatever reason won't allow me to upload my complete harvest video which is a real bummer because I mainly do the videos for my YouTube channel but decided to also include them on grow diaries to give other growers who might be considering growing the same strain in the future. Helps give people an idea of what to expect when they grow it. But honestly I can't be bothered to re-edit it to fit to Grow Diaries setting which I don't even know what they are.... Didn't think they had any! Maybe it's the length of my video..... 🤔! I don't know, but I like to give growers a good description of the strain and smoke review. I hate it when I go to others peoples pages to have a look at a strain I'm thinking of growing and them not having hardly any pictures that properly show you the growth stages of the plants.... Really annoying. Which is why I chose to properly document mine to give you guys or try to give you guys the best view of my grows..... No problems this week, flipped her to 12/12 and I took a clone. Did a little defoliation. She's got a whole space filled with runtz to flower with so I'm super excited

Buenos días familia, de nuevo os traigo esta esta 5 semana de floración de nuestras green ak xL de zambezaseeds. Una está algo bloqueada y no quiere comer nutrientes la otra ya va mejor y si come. Ph controlado temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros establecidos. Una cepa bastante difícil de dominar muy sensible a los cambios, pero que seguro bien cultivada dará todo de sí, xL su nombre lo dice.

This week i changed wather and started to go with canna rhizotonic roots. They starting to get big and i startet to train them under the nets. Lights are boosted to 1000w and the LED same 100W. End this week i switch lights to 12/12. Big Bud is not doing good i try next time to get the same strains each tub to prvent nutrient problems. Ec was rising high to 1.5 so i put tap water inside to get him to 1.4 and awaiting next week. Ph is so far stable to 6.0, reason why is mineral magic really helps to keep the nutrients stable. We hear us next week when i turn lights on other time. Thanks and happy growing :)

Week 11 🗓️November 15: It’s freezing outside! 3°C in the morning, 15°C in the garage (grow tent). For the moment, I have around 20°C in the growing room when lights are on.

👉this is week start of week 8 and the switch to the 12/12 schedule. the plant is on the 6th week on the GH nutrient chart for its flora series drain to waste schedule.This is considered early bloom and the only difference from the transition nutrients is the reduction of FloraGrow and addition of Liquid KoolBloom. The water I use is RO water from a medical grade industrial machine (not on site). Its conductivity is .04ms. Its 98.5% pure water. I believe this is helping me mix my nutrients at full strength and achieve the middle to upper end of the recommended ec range. The volume of plant uptake has increased quite alot. I am averaging 2 liters two times a day, but as the week progressed a couple of high flow fertigations were needed to keep the run off below +30ms. I feed my Marigold plant the run-off after Ive measured it. The fertigation station is in a closet in another room and doorways wipe my memory so I fed 99 the runoff a couple days ago (9-16). So I fertigated 1.5 liter immediately. That runoff was close to 30+. The lights were going out so the next morning i fertigated with 4liters. That runoff was +10. That night was 2liters w/.9 liter runoff +10. I plant on keeping the flow a little high to help prevent any nutrient deficiencies while its doing the early flowering stretch. 👉The plant is lush and green and growing as a nice round bush. Stout main stalk and is 21". I began plucking lower leaves that were reducing airflow around the base. These could pose a mildew risk if left on because they are in contact with the pot and reducing airflow across the top of the media. They were shaded now by the expanding branches above so it was time to remove them. I like to take leaves gradually, one or two per fertigation event. I also have taken off the bottom 3 branches. They were healthy and had plenty of potential bud sites...but they would be in the shade and never meet the potential of the upper buds. I may take two more low branches, but I will keep them if they keep stretching outward and upwards and stay in the direct light. When they start flowering full time I will have removed as many of the potential larf bud nodes on the interior of each branch. Nothing extreme, just the basic lollipop on the bottom and reducing larf production up top. 👉I am using a cordless work light to make the pictures better. My phone camera flash isnt bright enough to over come the LED blurple and the addition of the very bright work light makes the picture way better. As you can see I will still be taking some of the pix with the LEDs on, but also use the camera flash and the work light and that helps bring out the green better. But lights out show a more detailed realistic image and I will include more pix this way. 👉Switching to 12/12 has been a challenge. I work varied hours and making it home before lights out is hit and miss. Also being a stoner I forget stuff if I get distracted by a movie, a sporting event or a shiny object, so visits to the tent during dark times will happen. I have green lights installed in the room and in the hallway. I have a good headlamp with green LEDs. I missed the first day and had to fertigate after hours...sigh. I took pictures with the green light on but no flash.

This was a hell of a journey and I leanred so much along the way. Really impressed with the outcome and how forgiving this strain was for a novice grower. The spark that started me on this journey has sure as shit turned into a flame.

This is a strain a costom breeder and friend of mine has asked me to try. I know little about the genetics other than the name: "Gorilla Glue Pineapple Cheese" Popped the seed as a back up just in case one of my Silver Haze cuttings didn't make it but they all did. This means along with the Gelato there will be 5 plants in this run in the 4x4 tent. I usually only grow 4, so might transfer this into a 3 gallon pot instead of a 5 gallon like the others, as in the past 5 plants in a 4x4 is pushing it for space. We'll see.

Hi Growmies,this was the last week of nutes she’s getting. Feels like I completely misjudged how far she is along, as it seems like she has started the ripening process. Ph and ec was in line the whole time, once the leaves started fading i thought that I have a lock out or sth, so I fed canna flush for a day and continued with a fresh reservoir as per my regular feeding schedule, To no avail, as she continues to fade, even after. Not a Biggy, as the trichomes are definitely all far enough along to harvest her after the next week of flushing. Thanks for stepping by and until next week :)

The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.
