Still going well. She's getting a full dose nutrients now. Was not sure if she was suffering from potassium deficiency or burn, but now I'm confident it is a deficiency so I upped her feed. Hopefully this will slow down the shedding of leaves. She has 4 to 6 weeks left in flower so too early for total fade.

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Growing really nice at the min seems like bee growth every day. Will start using nutrients next week. But so far so good.. ..update.. bit of nutrient burn on one of the plants at back but nothing that can't be fixed easily. Considering the heat where I am at the min there doing really well and looking very healthy. There new growth sprouting out everywhere daily. You can't really see from the pictures but when up close u notice it day to day. Can't wait till they start flowering..

This lady has been Transplanted on day 39 since she was planted (may 10th) and I've prepared the 15L pot with the complete line of biotabs using 2 spoons of startrex for every 5L, sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the transplant hole before putting the plant and then I added 3 slow release tabs one biotab for every 5L of soil, so that's why in this case I added 3, after the Transplant was done I immediately watered the plant with 1ml/L of orgatrex and 1g/L of bactrex, I hope you guys enjoy my work this season!!

The girl is still growing tall and has started to bloom. He still has a lot of time ahead of him and it is a strong and healthy plant. 😊

10/13: I fed her about 24 ounces of compost tea today. I had brewed 5 gallons of tea using 90% rainwater collected the day before, and 10% aquarium water. My tea contained about 2 cups of very rich compost a handful of biochar, a tablespoon of 7 diff species of endo-mycorrhizal fungi + 25 species of beneficial bacteria, 8 tablespoons of big bloom (mainly for the earthworm castings), 2 tablespoons of liquid molasses, and a tablespoon of kelp me kelp you. It had been brewing for 48 hours and was very frothy. I'm seeing signs of calcium deficiency on a few plants today, but the tea should correct that. I'll add cal/mag to the watering regimen anyway. 10/14: With so much light and airflow, she's drying out very quickly. I fed her about a half-gallon of water with grow big, big bloom, kelp me kelp you, boomerang, cal-mag+iron, armor si, and soluble humic acid. I also foliar fed her a few times with humic acid and big bloom. 10/15: I foliar fed with big bloom and a little kelp a few times today and peeled back the insulation in the attic above the closet now that it's getting colder outside. It brought my daytime temp down to 81f! 10/16: I fed her about a quarter-gallon containing all the good stuff, at full strength for the first time. I also misted her really well with Ph adjusted spring water a few times throughout the day, just to rinse off any built-up nutes. She never showed any signs of a calcium deficiency, but I dosed her heavy with cal-mag with this feeding anyway. I did some leaf-tucking today, but have decided not to FIM her. I really don't want to increase her individual footprint since she has so many neighbors. 10/17: I rearranged the garden a little bit and sprayed her down with ph adjusted tap water a few times today. She's looking great! 10/18: Today, I did a myco root drench, with a little added boomerang for all the aminos, vitamins, and earthworm castings, and some cal-mag. I soaked her thoroughly with about 3/4 gallon and let her sit in her tray to soak it all up. I'll let her go completely dry before I feed her again so that she really drinks it all in next time. I lowered the lights to 20 inches above her right at dark, so she'll wake up to an especially bright sunshiny day! 10/19: I was gonna rearrange this morning and had no space to work with, so I moved the 4 smallest plants in the garden into the "upper deck." Now she has a little more elbow room. It's the last day of week 3 and I'm really impressed with her progress. If I had more space to work with, I'd definitely be doing a little training to try and maximize my yield from her.

This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.

Weird week, Nitrogen toxicity. As of 3 days ago I started on nutes. My soil only has nitrogen in it, so it makes sense. She does look better today but eh. Leaves are dry as heck, humidity is about 50% ish she is feeding good, good runoff and PH. She is a chronie and thats all she is going to be. I'm mostly just seeing what she can do. I can smell weed when I go down in my basement but when I open the tent I have no smell/ or mine sucks cause I smoke too much upstairs lol. I notice a few amber hairs today but they look a bit bigger and fluffy. Not much to update. BIG shout out to @jinks101 for helping me out and answering all my questions!! Time to give this P2000 a secont run, and in it i will run a single clone that i took from my previous run, i took one from each phenotype and from them i chose the one i like the most in terms of plant structure , terpene profile and in the end smoke test also, that one is the most important one lol and the one with the most value on my decision, saying this dont judge me on this hahahaha i kind a forget it in the corner and now its time to bring her up to her full potential. I started by transplanting her from her tinny pot to a 25 L one , had to the soil 100g of All in one Pellets, a touch of microbial life and some Mycor to the roots and ready she is, gave them a foliar feeding with APTUS HOLLAND nutrispray and gave them a full feeding with the on the water sine the pallets will take a couple days minimum to start breaking and becoming available for the plants to take, i will let her adapt to it all for now and then i will star training her to became a tiny ginormous beautiful lady best, covered in trichomes and smelling like pines falling out of pine trees in the middle of the woods. As for the PAR department for now i am giving them 600 PPFD and running my VIPARSPECTRA P2000 @ 69% Looking at them an i decided that it was a good idea to start some training going on in this girl, so i gave her a new look and lets see how she goes from here, i spray them again with APTUS HOLLAND Nutrispray to help thing move faster . And they are coming back to life , in just a couple of days i can notice that they love the fact that im giving them my love and attention Is it just me or they are bouncing back fast af ? Not complaining at all hehehe , did some more training today, if they keep evolving like this i will be able soon to start taking leafs and selecting what to keep and what have to go.
