🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Everything is the same, since moving everything to one tent, the NL auto started flowering a bit more. The Vanilla Frosting started stretching, and the White Widow is finally pre-flowering a little. The VF gets dry every day, and weather has been wild again but I have managed to keep everything healthy. The addition of OG Biowar has really seemed to put the critters out of work (https://ogbiowar.com/). Granted I have also used Boogie Brew Black, and it takes me friggin 20-30 mins to get everything mixed and ready, but the plants are not complaining. I make a compost tea in a five gallon bucket and bubble for about 24 hours with a serious air pump and huge air stones, then I add all my nutes to it. I would say this is a 95% organic grow. Check out the video and check out the meds I made from the leaves of these plants. Packed a mason jar with clean leaves and poured in regular isopropyl alcohol - a few days later and its so green you cant see through it. I learned about this from a friend from South of the border. It seems to work well on muscle aches. -shrug- at least for me. FIVE MORE WEEKS For those who wonder how much light/heat I am putting down, its like 1807.8 umol/s at dead center over the Cree light, the Spider Farmer puts down way less, but the two lights together are working well and fuck it, its 82 degrees in the tent during the day and they are all pretty happy. So it is what it is. If it gets super hot I keep the CREE part of the Phlizon on, and turn of the LEDs, the SF1000 has plenty of light to help.

Auto cous kush is just coming onto it's own, making plant matter and working overtime in that slightly cold medium. I added aloe as a rooting agent, tried to ph it down to 6.5 using lemon juice (not doing that again lol?) and ended up catching the start of pH shenanigans so i started applying an amino acid spray onto the soil (not the plant!) . using my kelp extract concentrate at 1ml a L in my 250ml spray which means a 1/4ml , that gets sprayed once onto the plant. gonna top off the pots next watering. in soil ppm went from 360 to 420 , vpd went from 0.8 to 1.1.

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

She's still just doing her thing, getting thicker and starting to get a stronger smell about her,got about 3 days rain coming which hopefully doesn't affect her to much

Beginning of the fifth week of flowering. One organic and one fertilized! Both sativas!

1st Week of Flowering! 28 Aug - first 10am-10pm (12hr) cycle today, having had a shorter light period yesterday to adjust to 10-10. LST’d most plants - reminding ones tomorrow will be done. Drying out pots as felt like was overwatering - will monitor wilting and water tomorrow evening but hopefully won’t suffer too much. High temps with LED’s at 60% intensity today. Turned to 70% tonight as need to lower hanging height having LST’d but didn’t want to upset plants in dark cycle as too late (lights off). Will turn back to 60% and drop to 45cm having seen canopy adjust to LST. 29 Aug - all plants watered w/2ml/L seaweed & 3ml/L flower powerfeed. Learning to control humidity & temps. All progressing. More LST done today but forgot an overall picture! Biscotti Mintz showcasing its strong genetics. 30 Aug - going well! 31 Aug - turned lights from 70-%50 as maybe, maybe(?) too intense…just felt instinctively to do so. No yellowing but don’t look 110%? 1 Sept - all watered w/ 3ml/L liquid feed, 1L each. Also raised lights a little (5cm) to get better coverage. Looking good. 2 Sept - going well. Seems like plants enjoying 50% light @50cm approx. 3 Sept - progressing further. Moved plants 5-10cm closer to tent door so far plant was under light a bit more so more even. Will maybe up light to 60% commencing week 2 of flower tomorrow. Will water tomorrow having top dressed with organic dry medium bloom nutes to help keep P levels up since low in Powerfeed I’m using.

So Early Tangie, aka TheRealFoxtailQueen had made 72.03 of airy a bit foxtailed daytime smoke, she is a bit weaker on taste and strengh than her sister Fatty, the only other Tangie i tried already. So from all 3 curently choped and dried plants ( and i quess the rest ) she is the worst. Day 99. Strawberry Cough and other girls run fine, need to do defoliation for her, but work and future hollyday takes all my time away... Day 100. Two girls are jared, life is good,numbers are far off my expectations and i am happy with that ;))))) Day 104. Sativa pheno aka Lanky tangie falled today, her photos and videos in harvest diary, there i will put dry bud photos later. Strawberry Cough finally had time to go to hairdresser and thats what we got ;))) Never trimed any plant ever so hard as this round and its third defoliation round for her. Lets see. Pure ph water to both girls today. I never do any hard training with nutes in watering cycle, girls always get pure ph water. Strawberry Cough loves CalMag as FastDiesels. Have in mind ! Day 105. Strawberry took it like a champ and looks like a champ, believe it or not, flowers smells now with strawberries and thats above the moon for me ! Late FastDiesel will get last round of nutes on friday and only 3 weeks of water for her left. I am going on holidays for 3 weeks and one friend will be watering them, dont want anything of him than just 6.5 ph, strawberry will survive without one or two feeds, soil is ritch still tho, i hope at least ;))) We shall see .. End of week !

All went very well this week. She is drinking like crazy and reservoir needs to be changed almost every 4 - 5 days. he buds slowly start getting frosty and I hope that they will fill up the internodal spacing nicely.

12/17/2021 They are growing well,#1 will be eliminated she is a runt, and way to far behind her sisters in growth, so culling her tomorrow. Ps. #1 sprang back to life! No sign of sex yet but soon I hope, as I was hoping for a short veg. More pics of #2-#8 in a.m. Pretty cool to see plants know when lights going to out, and leaves look lower (drooping) about an hour before light shuts off !. Getting ready for (sleep)? Pics 1-8 at lights on and leaves starting to reach for the sky (waking up) Plants are about 31 days old and should start to show signs of sex.

3/3 MONDAY 12 am. They are doing great, the supplemental lights are helping. they cost about 60 for the AC Infinity germination kit. I think the 2 lights are enough so it’s cheaper to get another Germination setup with the lights for my 2.8x2.8 tents. 3pm they all took quite a bit of water. feeding into the bottom of the container is very beneficial to the plants. Wish I would’ve known about that sooner I made a video of how I do it. 3/4 4am looking good. 130pm
