Off and running with some flowers starting to show up and swell. Had some nutrient deficiencies I had to address but looks like all is dialed in now. Started using Fish Shit and some Grow Big to help with deficiencies and this seems to have helped, but I will continue to monitor and update. 🌱🤙

Sun Dec 27 Witnessing a true Stretch heading into week 2 of flower. Hoping to keep Veg Nutrients high this week, and be prepared to switch/transition into the Flowering formulas at the sight of “Hairs” being formed on bud sites. -switched the direction of my light, to make the most efficient use of the light hood itself. Sticking with the diagonal set-up in the tent. Mon; chemistry is listed above ***plant was originally super-cropped between the 3rd & 4th node, there’s not much room underneath*** 4th / 5th node might be worth considering next time. - soil / sand-coating seems really dry. This 2nd week will see feeding every other day. Nutes will remain as is Until there’s changes ** Uv-B was brought to my attention a few weeks ago, (thx DoDrugs420) and I am going to run a side by side test on it. Later this week I plan to install a 18” uv-b tube above one of the two plants, for the duration of Flower. *** Working with stakes again is kinda fun. But I also remember nearly poking my eye out several times with them. Safety glasses and Marking the Ends of the Stakes is a really good method of preventing accidents *** Wed Dec 30th - Food includes Unsulphured Molasses tonight. Still including it every third watering/feeding -Going to wait one more feed before adding some bloom nutes. Crazy growth and activity at the bud sites. And no groups of gangly hairs Thurs Dec 31st “happy new year all !” Next feed will feature half Bloom half Veg nutes and will be on Jan 2nd -Uv-B bulb installed ~ 14” from angled canopy... -running it on a reduced schedule right now. 2 x 3 hours per nite till I get to see how the leaves like it Recommended **12 hr CMH / LED etc. = 8 hr Uv-B** - Uv-B Bulb found at a Pet Store ~ $34 cdn and a simple black light fixture ~ $33 got it up and running. UV-B light is Not to be viewed... it’s dangerous to human eyes / skin. Jan 1. Moving to Bloom food! New growth and the arrival of Hairs on both plants will see me start to change their diet. Tonight the first Bloom food will be given and the transition will be over 3 feeds. 1/3, 2/3 and full bloom recommendation. (Opposite with Medi-One) 2/3, 1/3, 0 -plants had many branches that needed to be repositioned and LST applied. Canopy was releveled. Cleaned out some useless leaves from the undercarriage -what a great way to start the new year. Having a tremendous grow... -going to slowly start pulling back on the Rapid Start, now that we are entering true flower stage. (4ml/gal down to 1.0-1.5ml/g by the end of week 6) Same goes for CaliMagic. I’ve taken it higher than previously, (5ml vs 2ml ) and the results are obvious. Time to let these numbers drop a bit, make room for Bloom.

This year is really like no other regarding the weather! Girls still fattening nicely! We had the two first and only rainy days since two month so I covered them, don't wanna take any risk of but rot and co! Trichomes are huge! As it is very tricky to take live macro shots outdoor with the permanent little breeze we have here I may not be able to show nice pics of them but I tell you I never saw such big trichs! Those new genetics are amazing! See you next week

This was the week I decided to take a look at my trichomes with about 2-3 weeks left why not see what’s in store for me. And what I saw was some pretty milky stuff with surprisingly some amber to me that just means I’m going to get some good thc levels I’m shooting for at least 22-25% thc wish me luck we are almost there final stretch

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's loaded with flowers that are all beginning to get frosty! 9/6- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet approximately 5 gallons of well water from the garden hose. The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are stacking away and the frost continues to accumulate! 9/8- Today, before watering the Papaya Sherbet, I did some needed plant maintenance, removing a bunch of old dead leaves, along with a handful of shade leaves that were yellow. 9/10- Well with four weeks of flower behind her now, the Papaya Sherbet photo is almost halfway through with another 5-6 weeks to go. Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

89 days!!! I came back after an unplanned long vacation, and when I saw her I immediately realized that today is harvest day, it's a pity that I haven't seen her ripening for the last 12 days, I wasn't with her:D but the result really impressed me, I've never had such a beautiful strain :) the girl has been growing throughout the growth cycle, she's been growing really vigorously!!! Her smell really reminds me of cherries :) the flowers have grown very stiff and full of trichomes, I can't wait to taste her:) the update will be after the harvest has dried up:) good luck to everyone:).

Welcome! In this grow we have: 2x Platinum Wedding Crasher 2x Gelato 41 1x Sour OG 2x Lemon Kush Germination/Rooting - 14 Days 9/17/21 - The clones look good in solo cups of soil. We will transplant into 5 gallon pots in the grow tent after they fully root in the cups. 9/18/21 - Looks like the clones are doing well in soil! We are so excited to grow these out. The clones came from a very highly respected grower. 9/19/21 - No ugly growth. All clones look amazing! We upgraded the light to a Mars TSW 2000. 9/20/21 - They are looking good and most likely rooting throughout the cups. I’ll give them a little bit of water today. I want the roots to go looking for the water so I’ve kept them slightly dry. 9/21/21 - They look happy. I will let them just do their thing… We are waiting on our Mars TSW 2000 light to show up anyways. No roots visible from the drainage holes in the cups. 9/22/21 - Looking really healthy and growing nicely. I’m excited for them to fully root in the cups so we can transplant them into the tent. The Mars TSW 2000 should be here in the next few days. 9/23/21 - Looking so good! We can’t wait to get these under the Mars TSW 2000 in the tent. They smell and look great. 9/24/21 - The clones look really good except for one Sour OG. It wilted and died, roots did not take unfortunately. I have a Lemon Kush started from seed we will grow in place of the dead Sour OG. Today we got our Mars Hydro TSW 2000 light. We will be hanging it and updating with pics/videos. 9/25/21 - They look amazing. Lots of growth while rooting. 9/26/21 - So far so good. Watering when the cups get light in weight. In just a few days we will be transplanting. See the video for today, we hung the Mars Hydro TSW 2000! 9/27/21 - Watered them yesterday, they look healthy. The Lemon Kush isn’t a clone, it is from seed. It’s the smallest girl but it’ll perk up quickly. 9/28/21 - Transplant day!! The clones are looking really good and it’s time to transplant into the 4x4 under that Mars Hydro TSW 2000 at 50% intensity. Check out the pictures and videos from today!
