Week 9 for Gelato 41, She was transplanted into the big 250L pot mid last week to my outdoor spot, she doesn't look like shes grown much since last week but i think its because how big her new pot actually looks compared to the 5L pot but shes definitely bigger😂 The mulch to keep her soil cool is just straight up hay (going for as low spending costs as possible) which i had laying around the garden already from a few years ago😇 Shes getting sprayed every morning at sun rise to help with pests... as my other plants around her are having aphid issues but haven't had to kill any off of her funnily enough.

The plants are coming along nicely for the most part. I have been finding bud rot in big mama... not much but I'm a little bit worried. I've been cutting it out when I find it. The trichomes are cloudy with sparse amber. The wind has been a concern the past week or so. I shared a video which kind of gives an idea of what we are dealing with. We are looking at harvest two weeks out - max. Maybe sooner. FFT2 is significantly behind the other varieties... fattening up more slowly.

Going well

This was a good grow, I was hoping for a bigger phenotype but overall I’m happy. She smells sweet and dank, all her flowers are pretty dense and compact. She has good resistance to stress and humidity considering her structure.

So far so good , did my first water change yesterday , super easy with the side hose. I think the mars ts1000 will do a good job. Nice and bright and heat no issue in my 90*90. EC 0.2 ph 6.0

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Vamos familia actualizamos la cosecha de las kritical. La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 40% humedad y 24 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. Week 5 / Day 35 Flower began today - 15/12/2021. Plants have definitely started packing on some buds compared to last week. Can’t wait to see how they turn out over the next 4 weeks. EC is currently a little high, both at 1.6EC, however I believe that it is due to the top layer of the coco drying out leaving salts behind. I think this because there is no symptoms of burn or deficiency, so it can’t be the over nuting, plus I’m using 1/2 of what mills suggest in terms of Base Nutes so I believe it’s the drying out. I will be keeping the EC around 1.4 once it’s stable and only upping the base nutes if they start to seem hungry. It has been less is more the whole run so I’m gonna keep with it. To get the EC stable again, and keep the coco wet, I have began multifeeding 3 x per day during lights on. 2 litres at a time per plant every 24hrs - 6l a day. I have read good things about multifeeding so want to carry on doing it as I’m so far impressed with the results. The string for the “LST” has been left on, but I don’t think it’s necessary at all. I will probably cut them off in time or just leave them on if they don’t harm the plant at all. Due to starting the C4 a week early, I did not want to use it for an extra week again this week, so I have began using the Mills Ultimate PK a week early at 2ml per litre. This can be used for the last 2-4 weeks of flower, so hopefully it all works out. Still haven’t been any nute burn or anything this run which I’m happy about, the girls seem to be coming along nicely and just developing without issues. *touch wood* I am just defoliating a couple of leaves per girl at a time to reduce stress, and only if they are beginning to shade or cover lower bud sites. Can’t wait to see this week compared to the next too! 😁🤙🏻🙏🏻💚

Sunday Jan 3; Transitioning from Veg to Flower Nutes is in progress. Tonight sees 2/3 Bloom / 1/3 Veg and that’s it. - dropped tent temp down to 26C and humidity seems steady just under 50% - feeding schedule has been every other day. Stretching that to every 3 days after tonight ** water volume is my conundrum ** Do I add more water for the plant ? Am I giving enough Nutrients to the plant for it to grow big? Question Time ! &. Results: Volume of water was raised again for dinner tonight. 2.5 g between both plants. On the great advice I received today from 2 growers, and my desire to increase the amount of food that the plants see; the volume of water will go up and the time between feedings will resemble more of a 4 & 2 day cycle. Other Changes—- *”hand-weighing the pots” to get a Feel for moisture content, will become a regular task. **Giving the plants an extra day to absorb larger feedings, will become part of a staggered routine to help keep them on the Dry-Side Mad growth again today (sun p.m.), with the last taste of Medi-One out of the way early in week 3. A 4 day liquid-break and then 100% flower food. Jan 4 saw the plant looking well hydrated. No obvious run-off from yesterday’s feeding, says a deep watering has not happened yet. I will give the soil moisture a chance to recover, and increase next weeks Volume of water (aka nutrition) slightly once again. Breaking new ground ie: past a gallon per plant indoors and watering based on actual Needs. looking for real progress Jan 6th: next dinner is listed above, either tonight or tomorrow it will be used, based on how Dry the plants feel tonight Today is day 3 since the last watering. If possible I’ll hold-out till tomorrow. is Desert-like. Leaves are still pert. And the ~13 gallons or so of soil still feels bloody solid. So I’ll wait till a 4th day and feed it tomorrow. Fresh pictures uploaded w/ a video Jan 7: Fed each plant after 4 days without food or water, and they look great. Upped water volume 1/4 gal ea., (1.5 gal total ea.) and this will start the desired 4/2 watering schedule. Amount goes up each of next couple weeks. (Then taper off nutes and h2o in the last weeks is the plan) -plants looked great after 4 days without water. Here’s one for patience. -if the plant growth and bud development are any indication... the plant on the left appears to be a week ahead of the plant on the right. The one on the right just seems to be taking off now. Jan 8 Uv-B use has been s/d for the time being ~ 3 or 4 weeks. I am going to wait until there are actual buds on the branches, before making good use of the wavelength. * also behind that decision is the fact that the plant Under the Light, is solidly 4” behind the other since I started adding short periods of uv-b exposure. (The plants were exactly equal up until I started exposing the R plant for 1/2 the CMH exposure. ie: 6 hours) The plant lagging behind in reach and bud development, is the uv-b plant. And that’s only been using it since Dec 31st ! As it stands articles are saying to use the Uv-B later in flower. OK, I’m in ! Taking action on an observation. Sat Jan 9: - opening the tent tonight there was a 3” stretch over the course of the nite/day on the left. And it looks like the plant on the right is kicking-in as well. Slower, but happening. Like the whole L plant grew 3”

Apologies that this took me so long to update! This harvest was probably my second favorite, after my Choc Mint OG. Even tho the yeild was low due to only having 1 plant after a season on downs.
