Attention to detail

11 weeks completed! The plants seem healthy and doing their thing. I will be harvesting this week. There is definitely some amber in the trichomes. I gave them a tiny feed mid week since they had seemed to be a little stalled out (first feed in 1.5 weeks). I watered them last night. I'll check the trichomes when I but them to bed in 2 days and see if that is when I'll leave them in the dark for 48 hours and then harvest. If they are still not ready then... I'll water again when I wake them up and then I'll check them 2-3 days after that! Either way, I cannot see this not happening in the next 4-5 days!! Looking forward to harvest!! Plans are already underway for my next grow. Probably going with Seedsman's Strawberry Auto Cheesecake.

Snip snip, there goes half of the plant. I waited untill the plant was a little bit stronger to cut off the top and made sure to leave a little bit of the main stem sticking upward to try to prevent splitting the main stem because of the topping. Amped up the feeding a little to give her the strength to pull through. Now at 75% of recommended feeding 😶‍🌫️

Week 5 of flowering 10/16/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 5 Buds are getting bigger and thicker. Defoliated plants. Watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff) hand watering to full saturation of the media with 20% runoff at the end of the week. Checking runoff EC every 3 days. Lights now at max height and 90% power. After replacing the exhaust fan timer, didn't notice ant issues. Adding 2.5ml/gal of H2O2 (35%) to the reservoir to keep bacteria away.

Pulled 8 7-9g colas on the first struggler, well short of my qp per-plant goal. Ill increase my plant and yield count as I pull the rest. Still have 2 more plants that ahve gone another week and didnt miss the feed this one did. Hopefully we still get at least ~10oz from this run :(

Plants are finishing up, maybe another week and I can wrap things up. Buds didn’t get as fat as I would have liked but everything looks really nice and frosty. cleaned up all the plants with some defoliation.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . I'm not sure I'll go through all this effort of documentation here again, but please follow along on my instagram, stay in touch and chill out with me sometime @Fullmeltalchemist.00 All in all, I was running 1000w of quantum board across three tents and pulled just over 1100 grams, which was a big goal of mine. Day 39-02/09/22 we back on track baby!!!! I’ve given each of these beautiful plants a liter of water today with biobizz grow/bloom/topmax and a tiny bit of calmag!!! Two of the plants are 30cm tall and the other one is about 35cm!

Jack herer has. Een growing rather slow. Mainly due to the cooler temperatures it has. Beside that everything is looking really good. The roots got pruned today, plus some lst and defoliation on a few leaves. She is ready for another week. don't doubt Zkittlez! 💪. it eats like a monster, building SUPER roots, and has great potential. it may show you the whole color spectrum, which i find pretty cool, but i also found that rare neon-green color is an awesome sight to behold! not a SUPER heavy hitter, about 19-20%, but the smooth, almost creamy, fruity, berry taste is just delicious. 10/10 !

Week 13 : Six Shooter So i've been looking into these plants' trichomes daily, sometimes twice daily, they're all really really cloudy, like full white, completely curled in. Some have a slight beige tint to them, so i'm guessing that's the first few ambers ! That means it's time for the chop ! these wrapped up their second week of flush with three x additive flush. To flush you water until run off then add 20% which is just about 4 pints for me. Now i'm at the end of the grow i can say that the full tent is a good idea, but it does get crowded and that will surely affect my yield as there are a fair few colas that are totally f-ed in the sense they are thin, skinny, a tiny bit of flower with just a few pistills... so those are useless and they're going into my bubble hash project, so let's see, maybe i can extract value out of the trim , the popcorn buds, and the rest of the plant ! All plants are topped at the 3rd node, the 2 sides shoots will become the main branches. Adding the Enzymes to the menu. I will transplant during the next week , I can see the roots coming out the drains holes at the bottom of the pots, meaning it’s the right time to give them more space to keep the growth rate and to avoid any root bounds that will stunt the plants ! Switching to a 600w HID MH extra-Blue to give more light coverage and more space to grow. ( I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞 )
