2x2 homegrow 👽

26/07/20 (Sunday) Plants were starting to exhibit signs of light burn so I switched back to the 75W bulb. SVG never seemed to recover from having it's cotyledon damaged so I decided to take a risk and fed all of the seedlings 20-20-20 nutrients except the D.R. which I thought would've suffered shock, so I just watered it. 27/07/20 Decided to mist the plants with a homemade pesticide mix today because they're readying to be introduced as full time outdoor plants in a week or two so their sun basks are getting longer. 28/07/20 Noticed what looks like new growth from the first true leaves of the SVG, fingers crossed it's making progress. 29/07/20 The new growth from the SVG has split into two on both sides leading me to theorize that it's abandoned it's main stem (for now at least) and started two new stems. All other plants are working on new nodes and are showing a steady growth of .5cm a day. I've decided to revert to the 100W bulb because I believe I've misdiagnosed the light burn. 30/07/20 Today I left them outside for their longest sunbask to this point; 7 of their 18 total hours was provided by sunlight. The SVG now has two new 3-leaf true leaves on each new stem confirming my theory. Also starting to see signs of a minor mite problem on one of the leaves of my TT plant (Though it's new growth that wasn't sprayed with my homemade concoction.) 31/07/20 New growth has already begun sprouting from between the new true leaves of the SVG with no visible progress on the 'abandoned' main stem. Also had a power outage for 2 of the plants 18 hours. 01/08/20 Today the plants again stayed out in the sun for longer than previously making 8 hours in direct sunlight. I've decided to keep them in the grow tent for a further week because when I went to retrieve them the Jam was blown down flat by winds and had started to grow bent towards the light, so I doubt it's stem is ready for that daily beating. I raised the soil level and massaged it back into shape and it seems to be back on track. The D.R. is slowly beginning to bounce back from being stunted in the seedling tray and from it's third node (from the bottom up) of 3 leaf true leaves has turned into 5 leaf leaves. The SVG has made a major recovery and seems to be on it's way to even surpassing the others by the end of the week. The TT is officially the sturdiest of the younger seedlings and it's growing right behind the Jam in terms of node development. All in all this week was an overall success growth wise and I'm looking forward even more to week 3.

Week 15: July 5 2020 - July 11 2020 It was insanely hot again this week. The plants were drinking pretty much daily and they needed it. Finally got a break in the weather with some rain this weekend. Plants are thriving and super healthy.

Day 57. And Mimosas are real sl@ts ..... No doubts, they all time were most picky and stupid, but big, very big ... Only two from 3. Last one is the smallest plant from all first wave. Very strange . Smoothie's are nice, grow without big hiccups, maybe a bit of a runners, but all 3 looks very similar. Purple Punch - both small, the one in best light is giving me hope that I will chop her before holidays and will make some space for the guy who will be watering them during my offs. They are overfed a bit. So no feed all week. Just water. Two biggest Mimosa's will be transplanted into bigger pots, they drink a lot, dry too quick and are sad in my mind, so I will cheer them up with bigger pots this week. Still selective defoliation, some yo-yo, so ties and no spray anymore. Smell is getting stronger, but didn't bother to try one or other. Still nothing special or super smelly yet ... In the middle of the day Mimosa's finally happy, but before lights down - theirs leaves are down too. Overdrying them constantly too, can't wait to give them better house, that type of fight I hate. Day 60. All work done ! Huge work ! All girls were cleaned, defoliated and pots toped up with BioBizz Worm Castings. Both Mimosas got new bigger pots too. Happy Growing !!!

Day 29 Magnesium and calcium issue seem sorted. Last night I topped the PotG and took cuts from the bottom node. Each one now has 3 nodes/ 6 branches. Punch Line was topped days ago but i also took cuts from those. It was a little early for taking cuts but I need to get things moving here and I took two from each so at least one will make it from each. They’re all looking much more green and healthy than they were before. I’m gonna gone down tonight’s feed tho. I’m not entirely sure on plans for flower. Hopefully within the next 7-14 days. Keeping things under the FCE4800 for flower. Probably will flower the Punch line in my normal flower room as all 8 would be a bit tight. Raising light and dimming to 70% or so to encourage a bit of vertical growth. That additional UV in veg is going to cause some tighter nodes - wish you could toggle it on or off. Still rather have it all grow then none at all. All growth has been consistent from all 5 PotG Punch line was bigger at first but now because of smaller containers the PotG is easily taken over in size. Not much distinction between plants at this point. Some have a bit fatter leaves than others 1 is a bit taller out of the medium where as the others are closer to it than I’d prefer but that’s why I’m encouraging some stretch here. Day 35 update - tomorrow will have new week update but real quick.. Astounding growth this week ! PunchLine male found and putting him outside to initiate reproductive stages and get me some pollen to harvest. Harvest day 74. 10g dried after 4 days. Little plant and little yeald. Didn't respond well to topping, problems with over feeding in late flowering. Also began to foxtail in last week, probably due to 40°C at daytime. Will update the smoke test curing.

Die Woche ist im großen und ganzen sehr gut geloffen. Sie hatte nochmal einen deutlichen Schub gemacht und nach Anzeichen der Blüte gab ich ihr das erste mal mein selbst gemachten Full Spectrum Bloom Ferment (angelehnt an knf aber deutlich verändert mit vielen tropical ingredients🙃💚)worauf sie super reagiert hat ,sie zeigt schon noch drei Tagen eine deutlich satteres grün. Dann nahm ich als vorsichts Maßnahme die Blütenstände die am nähesten am hauptspamm waren weg um einen besseren Air flow zu bekommen und dann gab es nochmal lecker essen (Bloom ferment )💚🙃 Was meint ihr ? Kicked the Critical Kush out to let the Lemon AK have the tent to itself to finish. Tall, strong, some yellow leaves think it might be a ph issue, flushing a bit and continuing to trim and monitor, it's not widespread and the plant is otherwise healthy. Did a little trim and LST on day 48 to help it take up the extra space that is suddenly available.

Very fast growth. Final comparisons of germinating ~10 seeds. Tropicanna Poison on Top Left is 2nd fastest growth so far right behind Apple Cup (Apple Fritter x Banana Butter Cups) by Robin Hood Seeds. Apologies for the floor gap, I ran out of polyfilm and couldn't be bothered to get another large roll for such a small gap.

Things still going pretty well. Roots look good and plant looks healthy. Temps beginning to drop outside so hoping to get some good growth in the next few weeks before it gets really cold.

********Week 1 Flower - Sept 19 to 25, 2020******* We switched to flower this week and put in the first SCROG layer.....been busy😃These girls have been pretty happy this week given they have grown quite tall and buds are setting and moved on to stacking already. Great signs so early on😎🤞 I had LST on the girls and then decided to remove the ties since they were topped and under a net so maybe stretch wouldn’t be too bad.......ties went back on at the end of the week😃💪🤪 Pheno 4 has on branch that had HST done and knuckle formed, still growing up so had to keep it tied down as well. Down side to running a 9 week veg, if they want to get big, they will😂😂😂 Pest maintenance this week as we are getting the last days I am able to comfortably spray the girls. Lost Coast Plant Therapy to keep the gnats, aphids and thrips in check😃 Keeping the waterings up and getting a fair bit of runoff from the feedings but that is best for Coco to avoid lockouts and pH issues. There were only three feeding days this week. We switched to bloom nutes for base and added silica for supplementals. Vitamin B and Kelp coming from B52 and sweetener for the microbes from bud candy, Bud Ignitor doing its thing as PK boost. As well as Sensyzime to let the enzymes clean up the root zone because they have been in the pots for a few weeks now. Little more detail: Sept 19/20 - Day 1 - Plant Therapy @ 5ml in 1L water. Ph to 5.4. - Folier spray applied to whole tent half hour before lights on, used 3/4 of mixture - Feeding mixture was Sensyzime @ 1ml only - 25ppm and 5.2pH......missed it a bit. - each girl given 3L - SCROG put in Sept 20/20 - Day 2 - Sprayed the last of the IPM mixture on the tent tonight. - Noticed several small shinny spots on leaves later today.....suspect from Folier spray on leaves. Sept 21/20 - Day 3 - Nice full strength week 1 mixture applied today - Rhino Skin, Cal Mag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom A&B , B52, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy @ 1ml. - 625 ppm and 5.7pH - 3L given to each girl.......not enough runoff.....bump feedings up to 4L going forward. - silica added today. Sept 23/20 - Day 5 - CalMag @ 2ml, Rhino, Sensi Bloom A&B, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml. - 850ppm and 5.9pH - 4L given to each girl. - better run off amount That wraps up the first week of flower........The net is in and the lights flipped. The girls were ready for flower and now we just need to keep giving them what they want for the next 6 weeks and then coast from there👍 These are some strong and fast growing girls.....keeps a grower on their toes! I expected the heights to be where they are but must admit I was hopeful that was the end of week 2. Issues will come in when trying to ripen the bud around week 8. They are growing so well right now.....keep them happy and in the end everyone is happy👍❤️👍 Such a solid strain @Sweet_Seeds......a great hybrid you should be very proud of!!! 🙏🙏🙏
