The little one has put the turbo on. After a perfect germination, the vegetative phase has begun: the first few days are always a mix of excitement and attention to detail. The real leaves have peeked out, nice and wide and of a healthy green that gives hope for what is to come. It is adapting well to the Light Mix, and the initial combination of Dynamyco + Extreme Garden Root is proving, as always, a winning choice. I am keeping the nutrition light, watering with distilled water and Cellmax Rootbooster, so as to encourage a robust root system before moving on to the full regime. The humidity and temperatures are under control, the box is stable and ready to welcome the green explosion that awaits us. Eyes open and hands light. The road is long but the direction is the right one 🚀

Switched to flowering. She grew 10cm in 3 days... absolutely crazy. I took the tough decision to discontinue the TimeLapse. My tent is not big enough to have the camera in a place that kinda makes sense. So I'll be taking manual photos in the coming days and uploading those.

And she is definitely on the run with her sister, she is growing , i mean growing so fast that is just crazy, her structure is getting better but still looks very fragile wen compared with any other girl on these tent, but these in the end means nothing so lets keep giving her love and all the attention she deserves. Random bagseed I found, was my first plant. Even though I messed up a lot and this plant didn't turn out as I had hoped, it was an invaluable learning experience and I look forward to using what I learned to make my future plants greater. Wet Trimmed and placed in jars in the mini-fridge to dry.

everything in the second week of flower went well. she really stretched and the buds quickly started getting fat. also every watering i would notice a very strong odor of weed. december 22nd 2021: gaver her last half of gallon used in last feeding. also nothing was tested. ph tested at 6.6 last feeding and it usually comes out a little higher after a few days. january 1st 2022 i noticed the first trichomes.

MID-WEEK UPDATE: Gave the twins their second last feeding today. A few nights of 14-16 Hour Dark periods as well due to plans/not having timers but as I said before I think the longer Dark periods have really sped up the flower development. PURPLE IS STARTING! Some very nice purple is starting to come into the cals and sugar leaves 😈 Going to push some lower temps in week 8 to get as much colour out of them as possible. Arnold still heavy fan leaf fading. Ran straight water through the medium before todays feeding incase any build up nute locked it. Never fully bounced back from the last feed but also getting near the end. I have a feeling I'll pull Arnold first in week 8 then maybe let Danny go for a more couch lock. Danny: GRAPE SMELL. Holy, I don't know if it's more of a Grand Daddy Purp pheno or what but holy is the grape smell off of Danny insane. Almost like a different strain compared to the smells off Arnold. WEEK 6! HOME STRETCH OF GLAZED GROW #1! The smell is insane. What started as a premature musk has slowly evolved into sticky ass chocolate goodness, fresh mint/herb, and even some grape/fresh fruit smell on the fingers after defol and mold checks. Noticing a hint of that GASSS too as we start to enter the final ripen. This will also mark the final week of Nute feeding. Fed today and probably two more Weds/Sun. Then will switch to Molasses/Water for Week 7 and plain water for first half of Week 8 before the dry out. As you can see, Big Arnold is showing cal/mag and PH problems. Always bounces back after PH perfect feedings and I've been defoliating the faders as we go to save bud energy. It's been rootbound since mid-flower and I'm sure the whole root zone is a mess. The extra work I've had to put into a soilless peat-based medium like ProMix with a photoperiod plant has been great practice and experience but I'm looking forward to a few round of autoflowers and soil grows to dial back the difficulty settings through the winter months. Another good week. Been trying to water with my mix a couple times a week. Otherwise I've been using the blumats. There has been twice though I overwatered with those and flooded slightly. Still trying to adjust them just right

Interesting grow I thought. Is it worth adding a co2 emitter in an open house or is it a waist. Mind u there r 3 people and 2 dogs when the house is full

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Although the seed description said 10 to 11 weeks, I going to cut these girls down at 10 weeks. I need the room to grow and flower some Mac and Crack that's already growing.. Getting close to harvest I'll start flushing, But I'll give them 1 more feeding and then nothing but water till the end. I get much better taste and the buds smoke better if I flush and get the chemicals out of the soil before harvest. Well, that's the end of the Freak Bros. book # 10... I think there are 3 or 4 more books left in that series. I'll show them in future diaries. My other diaries have the old underground comic book, Weirdo by Robert Crumb if you want to check them out to see. The buds are really getting solid now and some are getting heavy and heading for the floor. Good times... Getting some great smells now. Musk is the most common. But some, smell of Citrus with Musk under tones. The smell is overpowering my carbon filter. I can smell these plants out by the street if the wind is blowing that way. Pure Lemon Skunk smell by the street. Nice. Getting near the end of their lives now and there are more yellow leaves as the plants pull what they need from the big fan leaves before turning the leaves brown. Some plants have sticky resin and some have slippery resin. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.
