Well unfortunately Misty was chopped ahead of schedule because on Monday morning I found the dread BUD ROT (Botrytis) infecting one of the side colas. I discarded that cola and am drying the rest.

Well another week of growth and progression. Havent had to do anything but water this little beauty. Keeping in kind I'm watering with a ph of 6.5 all the time I'm adding nothing else but the bio bloom and grow and that's it. IT'S really just self automated growing actually much easier than measuring out your nutes week by week so much so you get bored cause you have more free time to just water and wait. But anyways she stepped out of pre- flower this week hope to see some large stacking happen soon live to see the bud formation growing its awsome so far so good havent had a issue to write about so batmans happy all round

Weekly update on these big girls. I decided to take out some of the lower branches, giving more airflow at the top of the pot level. Overall they've exploded with growth this week. I'd say they're getting close to 4ft tall. I sprayed some BT spray for ipm this week since I don't want catapillers showing up unannounced. All in all Happy Growing.

01/03/22 Watered plants 2L of nutrient water each , assessed plants to determine what LST I'm doing, looks like these plants have potential to be monsters. Let's hope I don't fuck it up now. 01/01/22 Topped and defoliation was done, didn't water that day even though they needed it I wanted to give them a day or two from the stress they went through, watching to make sure they didn't wilt. 23/10/2024 Lights On! I opened the tent this evening but it's her morning 🌄 however you like to picture it! Strong smell of gas that' smells bitter like lemons, when it hits the back ya sinuses. Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. 😈👹😈👹 DARK DEVIL AUTO®️!!! 😈👹😈👹 Finally getting around to a strain I’ve been dying to grow! I’m hoping for a successful germination rate, keeping my fingers crossed!🤞 For these girls I’ll be growing in two different mediums with a variety of nutrients and amendments from various brands. Of course as always, all inputs are 100% organic. No synthetics allowed in my garden! Two Dark Devils will be grown in Nectar For the Gods #4 Soil Mix and the other who will be grown in Malibu’s Baby Bu’s Potting Soil. Both of these mediums are considered premium and only have the best quality inputs. Both soils also contain coco coir. In my experience I have found that autoflowers grow so much better in soil mixed with coco. Anytime that I’ve grown in heavier based peat soils I get much smaller root balls and root mass in general compared to coco/peat mixed mediums. The NFG #4 is a much lighter substrate than the Bu’s because it’s filled with a ton of perlite and pumice. One benefit is that it also has basalt so it’s considered “paramagnetic”. The one thing I added to the NFG mix was organic Bio-Char blend made from Build A Soils bio char and locally sourced organic bio char. The Baby Bu’s medium is 100% Coco Coir based, mixed with their biodynamic compost, worm castings, bio char, and tons of other beneficial ingredients. This medium is slightly heavier than the NFG even though the NFG is peat and coco based. It really comes down to there being less aeration material in the Bu’s blend compared to the NFG. But hopefully the coco will make up for the lack of aeration compared to the Nectar #4. A benefit claimed by both companies is that their products are properly mixed and stored so the customer does not receive “HOT” soil. The mediums come lightly pre-amended but believe that the Baby Bu’s will have more nutrients than the NFG #4 mix as they claim their soil is an “all mix”. I will be feeding the plants with living oxygenated water, microbial inoculants and light compost teas until the plants look like they need more food. This is my first time growing in both mediums so we’ll see as I grow along! I will also be adopting the northern lights technique that I’m using on my Banana Blaze grow diary! Update: 12/16 All four seeds broke ground around the same time at 9:00pm. 100% successful germination rate. Let’s see how they progress into the vegetative state. Update: 12/18 one out of four seeds may be showing signs of damping off. All four were growing straight as an arrow but today one is slightly slouched and leaves are allowing water to soak in. This usually isn’t a great sign! Update: 12/19 Took the suspected damping off seedling out of her humidity dome and she improved overnight. She is the only one with a greenish colored stem while the other three all have distinctive red/brownish stems similar to other purple strains I have grown. Thanks for stopping by! 😈

Day 27 Flowering:. I am in love with Pog. she always looks so edible.lpl. her buds are such a nice fluffy inviting example of this respected strain from Barneys Farm. So so fruity smelling when rubbed and makes me hungry without even smoking.lpl With less than halfway passed , she will be a good yielder by the looks of her now. roll on sweet harvest time.

So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

I took all the leaves off and started the drying process. I only LSTed for the first 30 days. Once a week I took leaf off. The plant made so many leaves so removing them was the best way to get light to my cola stacking were all the bud come from. Just taking off any leaves that are yellowing under the canopy. This baby is nice! Super happy that her trichomes are starting to form and she is budding up nicely! A real stunner so far! More sativa so I know she will take a bit longer, but I’m happy! Hope she gets even more greasy!💚💚💚
