9/10: New week...good progress. I'll probably transplant them into pots in a couple of days. They are looking a little deficient, so I'll give them full strength nutes soon. 9/11: I waited to long to transplant them and they have root problems to some degree or another...too wet for too long. I transplanted both of them into 3 gallon pots and observed about 50% brownish roots on the bigger one. 😕 I powdered the planting holes with myco, tricho, and other goodness. I added two Mars Hydro 150w lights, and a 60w 6500k LED panel light since they are all spread out now. The average CCT is still a little over 4800k, even though the Mars are a little warmer color temp than the Viparspectras. 9/12: Between the root problems and the transplant, they looked horrible, so I sprayed them with BoomBoom Spray today and will do a good root drench tomorrow with BushDoctor Boomerang. They looked better by the end of day, but still have a ways to go to get back on track... 9/17: I fed them boomerang only twice this week, and gave also them kangaroots yesterday. They are both still a little droopy looking, but they are growing.. I'll prolly flip to 13/11 with emerson effect in the next couple of days.

The plants are ranging from 36”-38”…. We just purchased Flower Fuel for the buds. And pruned all the plants this week. Lastly we gave the plants pH balanced water with loranne flavor extract and unsulfured molasses.

Since I am in DWC and the fertilizers are organic, I take care to add them slowly.. Como estoy en DWC y los fertilizantes son orgánicos, me ocupo de añadirlos lentamente... Por el momento no controlo la atmósfera, sólo tengo un extractor ajustado a 400m3/h para los 2 lumatek al 75%. Planeo controlar la atmósfera a partir de la inyección de CO2 en la semana 2 o 3 para ver más. Mientras tanto tengo algunos picos de temperatura por encima de los 28 pero son realmente específicos. slow growth after last weeks defoliation treatment. plant seems to be taking new solution well. hoping that the density will come this week. they are sticky and smell good.

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. Immer noch keinen Dünger, nur die gute Erde .... Die Speed Queen steht ja experimentell in einer kalten Garage mit einer SkinnyHeat Heizmatte von Romberg unter dem Growzelt. Sehr hohe Luftfeuchte im Zelt - Ich hoffe auf die stabile Genetik von Mandala Seeds ....

The purple punch cookies is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.
