It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.

All in all I am quite happy with how things turned out. I got to use the short days to grow a photoperiod. This was not planed though, since it was packaged as a Skunk Auto. I think its Lemon Orange. Saw it grow before and it really looks the same. Smell is also in the neighbourhood After drying I saw that almost everything was modly. Had to throw almost the whole plant away. Last 2 weeks only plain water on blue medi kush. Flushing other girls for a week now and this should be their final week of life but dinafems grape and og kush are still shooting white hairs or they are just turning them to orange very slow. I got the runoff ppm on all girls down to 200(my tap water), want the smoke to be as clean as possible.

She is looking really good. I transplanted her to my springpot autopot system. The pot is a nature's living soil and fox farms ocean forest.

Week Twelve Flower Week 6 and so far so okay. I got worried about nanas on the sfv, but it turned out it was just new growth. The fungus gnats came back, stronger than before, so I covert the soil with sand to prevent them from laying more eggs. Alle the plants looking fine, on some days I had to fight high humidity and temps. This will bite me a week later, check week 13 ;)

Day 50 little defoliation not much plant is nice and healthy. Raised light again. Day 51 nothing done buds are getting bigger. Still nice and healthy. Day 52 plant is budding very nicely. All is good forgot pics for d52 so you have video. Day 53 refilled refill tank 920ppm ph'd 6.2 plant is doing great. Day 54 plant is green tips of leafs are great and she is bud building. Day 55 all is good. Day 56 plant is so beautiful I can't stop taking pictures of it.

In week 5 (=flowering week 3) all 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS continued to develop their flower crowns. The lamps are now hung a little higher at a distance of 50 cm (=LUMATEK) and 60 cm (=SANlight) and both still run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight are a little bit taller and still have a darker, healthier green color. The amount of flower crowns also appears to be more, but is hard to recognize by eye anymore. The plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W are developing good and produce lots of flower crowns, but appear to be lighter in color. My waterings are always with tab-water only, since the BIOTABS nutrients are for the FULL-CYCLE, its sooooo easy and convenient, I LOVE IT! 😎 The HOMEBOX growtent is now nicely filled out and my trellis (=plastic netting) is filling out very well! The trellis will hold up the branches under the weight of the HUGE tops I expect later in flowering...😁

Wow look at them grow!! This light by kind led is bad ass!! On week 1 and look at the growth. I transplanted them into the superponics 12 xl. Too feeding these ladies so they can get the nutes they need and to push the roots downwards!! So far off to a great start!! So happy with both the superponics and the x80 veg bar light!!

The ninth week of flowering is now over and the last days of the ladies have begun. The stated 9-10 weeks flowering time is definitely correct. One plant of the Hardcore Zoap was ready a little earlier, but as I want to harvest everything at once, everything is left standing until the majority looks ready. I also preferred to harvest the plants a little more mature than too early. In terms of appearance, I like the Miracle Gushers flowers best, as they have a fine and compact structure. The Banana Creamz seem to be able to develop very thick flowers, whereas the Hardcore Zoap seems to have the lowest yield. I will be able to say more after drying and weighing.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. This next week one of my plants really got its first trichome coating. This plant also recieved a small addition of gaia greens bloom amendment. The rest remained slighly behind. After I examined the stems I found many interesting results from the first toxicity burn early in vegative. One of the plants stems grow as if it was FIM’ed with many more small branches shooting out. Seemed like a top site turned into 6 main branches. I removed that plant due to its height and lack of stem size from being an auto-flower. The second oldest looking plant began to juice up this week. The second oldest also was the only plant that received a proper topping and has many side branches as large as main colas of other plants.

So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn''t getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don''t know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3 months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not and will not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Defoliated to improve airflow and re tied branches down to create a more even canopy. Will re ammend the medium with 2 cups of worm casting, 1.5 tbps azomite and Gaia Green 4 4 4 on the last day of week 4. Recharge in every watering during veg.
