We cut her early due to a block off in the autopot system.. but she was frosty as a mofo for being cut way to early and the taste was surprisingly very sweet with a piney/spicy kind off aroma and taste

Harvest after 9 weeks of blooming

So this is my first diary here and I'm going to start from week 11 so there's should only be another week or two left. My next one I'll do properly from the start. Also this feeding schedule was the last ammendment I did but was in week 10 and not this week. As I only started on week 11 I thought I'd just add it to show what I've given her. This is just 1 Northern Lights Autoflower from Royal Queen Seeds. I've topped her twice and done some LST and lollipopped just as she was going into flower..which was around week 5. I use 100% organic top soil amendments from Living Soils every 2 weeks. I water about 2 days after the top soil goes completely dry only in the mornings. And she's on a 20/4 light cycle. I vegged her in a standard plastic pot then transplanted at the end of week 5 into a 10l pot with the coco loaded with all of the above (minus the guano which I added at the start of week 3 of flower) with the aim of her hitting those amendments at the right time..so I wouldn't have to amend again for another 2 weeks which seemed to work out. I tested the run off shortly after the first feeding for flowering and it was really high - 3000ppm - alongside the pH which which was really low - 4.89 (as expected as its runoff) however I had oyster shell in that first feeding which should help raise the pH and my local tap water is hard so there's extra Calcium and a bit of Megnesium in there too. I also added a couple of drops of biobizz ph+ to the water. And with the mycorrhizae..which should kick in and colonise the root system in about 3 to 4 weeks..should create a mycillium network to help this living soil regulate everything!! Which it did as I tested the runoff again everytime I fed (every 2 to 3 days) and it slowly went down ending up at 1000ppm and a pH of 5.9 which was spot on. I also had a massive scare as I found small white bugs in the medium when I disturbed the top soil. Thinking they were spider mites thankfully they were Symphalans which after researching eats seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. She is pretty small and compact. I'm testing autoflowers as I've never tried them before. I'm slightly annoyed as I knocked my dimmer down to 60% without realising..so out it back to 100% and as a result I'm guessing she may have been stunted along with topping her twice or maybe it's just the strain. But I have seen other a lot bigger. But she is looking really healthy and has done from the start. The colour you see has been there from the start and she hasn't had any deficiencies. Tricones are coming along nicely and some of the sugar leaves look like they're starting to deplete in nutritients as they're going slightly yellow on the edges so not long. I'm guessing 2 more weeks from today but I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 13 weeks which is what I'm hoping for as her last feed was last week which would give her an extra week to 'flush'. Also the Bat Boost from Guanokalong has an NPK ratio of 0-10-0 and not 0-0-2 like it states. On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Things going well

Now we've reached day 25. We are in the transition phase, pre-flowering if you want, when the seedlings reveal their sex by showing the white fluff or the boyish balls. Here and in all F1 Hybrids you can be SURE, SURE as death that you will never see any balls. If you have underestimated this aspect of the F1 Hybrid, go back and think about how many times you found the balls on the paint, full of pollen that fertilized your ladies. Do you like having young ladies impregnate you? Absolutely not for me and this is a very valid reason why you can choose the F1 Hybrid. Really guys the seeds suck and the genetics of the various breeders if they don't do a job like this it means that they are super hybrid poles with genetic traces scattered here and there. It was another two beautiful, sunny weeks that have now come to an end. To be on the safe side, I examined Durban Poison, Shaman and Frisian Dew more closely and found that all the ladies, with the exception of Frisia n Dew, which are in the garden, had initially developed mould in the flowers. In addition, some green caterpillars fell out of the Durban Poison when the plant was shaken. Durban Poison had also completely stopped flowering, which I found unusual. I therefore decided to harvest all the ladies, except for Frisian Dew in the garden. This Frisian Dew is only now entering its main bloom and is not yet so susceptible. Durban Poison has developed very thick and heavy colas, followed by Shaman and Frisian Dew. See the picture with the scale. I was able to weigh a part of the harvest after the raw trimming, then at the weekend the batteries of the digital scale were empty. It will take a few more days until everything is dried and stored in jars for maturing but one thing is for sure, it's quite a lot. The plants are still standing with remaining flowers to see how they will handle the coming bad weather.

Didn’t really get any good photos of the plant while transplanting this week but the transplant was somewhat successful but the plant need something to lean against so I cut a cup as wrapped around the plant next week I will check the results, still haven’t added nutrients yet but I did mix the soil with remaining fox farm ocean forest (30%) and a new soil fox farm cream of the crop 50/50 mix (70%) in the 5 gallon fabric pot mainly because I like the aeration properties of this and the Less likely ness of overwatering and having more control of the nutrients being added at a given time.

Day 80, harvested 1 plant, she didn't really look good, the buds are very smelly and dense though. Some trichomes were brown so decided to chop her (the smallest buds only had milky trichomes, even not even milky for some). It wasn't one of the biggest so I hope for bigger yields for the other plants ! Now drying, got 145g after the wet manucure. The rest of the plants are still in the grow box, they're healthier and they'll be ready in few days, I thought I would harvest before but mother nature is the boss.. will keep you guys updated !
