Getting more Exotic with GGD.

Day 1: after a full week and germinating after 3 days , I gave them the rest of the week to settle in. Thankfully all three are starting to look settled since I took their domes off. A couple of deformations on odd leaves here and there but no issues to concern me now. That is it for this one as not a lot happening at this stage but wait till you see the next update of their other genetics in my grow !. loving the exotic girls.

Day 8: All of thesenladies are nice and settled now. They all have 3rd nodes visible and are close to letting the 4th nodes out too. besides the damage from germination and seed husk , they are looking OK so far. I am attempting to get the rootbball wide by watering more towards the pots edges. hopefully this will make them spread out above the soil similarly. A quiet and steady week Growmies. They will bendirectly under light in a few days time so should have grown a good amount for the next update. Be safe

Day 14 : Hi all , hope we are well and healthy. The new Exotic girls are doing their breeder very proud. All have settled in to their pots and are on their 3rd nodes now with upright and straight out leaves. They are all in a good position directly under the sp3000. inhave kept them at a good 24 inches away so far and will see how they reach up during this week. I plan to top them to encourage a wider plant each pot dependant on how they grow. If they stay smaller in height then I may pull them over to create a 5-way manifold for chunky mains. All in all a nice steady week I will be starting to feed them Mega crop in a day or two to get their leaf colour to the most energising I can. I am watering on the outer edges mainly, this should encourage the roots to spread to the whole pot and give a strong foundation for big buds hopefully. Be safe folks.

Day 21 veg: Her we are at the midway point of the setting up for flowering and theybare all playing nicely so far. All at their 5th nodes and needing a plan for training now. Herz.o.g has been f.i.m.m.e.d now andnhopefully will shoot her 4th and 3rd nodes up to become hopeful mains. She is the biggest of the 6 newer plants by a long shot and seems to be very energetic indeed. Monster mash is the smallest of the group but by no means slouching. she looks nice and healthy and will be trained lst as soon as she has enough growth. Strawberry Cola also on her 5th node and close to being trained , is slightly lighter in colour than her cousins so I am hoping the Megacrop adds some nice green to the leaves for photosynthesis. A steady progressive week for them all. lets see what another week can do. be safe and well

Day 28 veg: All is going daily good with these 3 ladies from Exotic Seed. The burn in the leaves is from a treatment forbrhe horrendous fungus gnat issue that ibhad hoped to managed but they are winning. lol. I am daily spraying them with home made treatment of steeped tobacco and dish soap with bicarb of soda. I caught the leaves with aspray here and there leading to the discolouration and burn The Strawberry cola is doing well and forming a nice top cola with good height supporting side branching . hopefully I can keep them together as the canopy grows. There are hints of white hairs on the bracts so flowering is close. Herz O.g is a big lady so far .Her f.i.m went good and could benefit the end yield . Shebhas fairly wide spacing on her frame so far so I will have to watch the stretch carefully. White hairs at the bracts are showing her female gender through so another close to flowering. she will need some l.s.t to stay in good light. Monster Mash looks happy enough and is keeping pace with the others so far. let's see what next week reveals. be safe folks

Flowering week 1: Well an odd affair with the Herz .o.g being a week actually in flower and stretching while the other 2 are just starting to hit flowering. I will keep track and try not to confuse the journal count too much.lpl After last weeks update, I had a busy time dealing with the fungus gnat issue. Thankfully the powder I bought took care of the pot surfaces and is still working on the emerging adults at the moment. The sticky yellow traps are catching a few escapees and hopefully this will eventually kill them off altogether. Seeinf the amount of them rapidly increase on the surface gave me the creeps but also had me worried about the amount them each one would already have laid so many eggs on the soil. Horrible little gits.... Herz O.g has has a good week of growth due to stretch. she has a tall and skinny sativa look to her so I will need to be mindful of how tall she tries to go. She looks nice and healthy with only 2 or 3 bud sites to each growing limb. I think she will need some tying into place to get the best from her. Strawberry Cola is only just showing signs of flowers in her growing tips but her bracts hairs are visible to shownher gender thankfully. She isnt as tall and stretchy as the Herz.og but has more of an indica look to her. She is a more squat looking plant and has some very nice potential mains to play with. Monster Mash has shown flowers for a few days now so is between the 2 other girls for timing. Like the Strawberry , she is smaller in size but has some very nice looking leaves to power her in stretch. I removed some lower small growth and leaves to open the bottom of her up a little before the bushyness starts. lol I am keeping them happy using megacrop alongside the living soil and will also be using shogun products as they finish their stretch period. Another happy week for the exotic girls and now we get to see what they can do in flowering. If they are anything like the Mango cream I am running , I am in for a treat. ... Day 14 flowering: The little ladies have had a good weeknof stretching this week with the Herz O.g showing the way to the other 2. Herz.og has now been in flower for 14 days and is well into her stretch period. She has quite wide node lengths so no donkey dicks for her I think. seeing other grows , they donproduce very nice buds somlets see how she progresses with her bud building. looks healthy and happy enough and feeding with no issues so far. Strawberry Cola is now in flower proper and can say 7 days flowering for her now. she is stretching nicely with some good looking nodes around her frame. I will make sure I don't let her get too bushy to keep all her tips and budlets getting light. i took a good amount of small and pointless lower growth out to open her up more now. She looks the better for it now. Monster Mash has also had a good stretch the last few days but not as much as her rivals. she has enough nice budlets to work with on her limbs and should start stacking them up soon. All three are looking very healthy and a good size now. soon they can go into a better position under the light as I harvest the other strains in the run. Day 21 Flowering: Hi all, hope we are all good and green..This week has been the foundation for flowering weeks using their stretch period. They are all in a good position for getting plenty of light in their own space. I only had to do a little light leaf tucking to keep all the budlets with light on them. .The Herz o g is looking nice and open structured with decent sized nuggets forming Her nodes are still spaced apart but her main should have a joined up cola at some point. Strawberry Cola has really spread out nicely and matched the size of the other ladies . she has some very good bud growth too. Monster mash is really thickening upnwith bud sets now and I can see howna big yield is achievable from this strain. Nice formations of buds on her more natural frame too. Onward andnuoward grow its. now it should get interesting. be safe.

Day 29 Flowering: Hi all. As another week passes these exotic ladies are impressing the hell out of me. They have all really put some energy into forming long colas with really bulky little budlets along their whole stems. Herz o.g is by far the chunkier of the three but not by a big margin at all. her crown is forming nicely from above and I can clearly see her future potential colas. She looks a very nice colour of green on her leaves whichnis down to the Megacrop and its amazing chlorophyll building properties. This will help to really power those fan leaves to pump the nutrients and essentials to the forming buds I am now trying to stress her as little as possible to allow her to keep her focus on that alone and not dealing with uneeded stresses. Strawberry Cola is beginning to build some nice stacks too. Her stretch helped to keep her in the canopy but she is at present overshadowed by a huge mimosa Lemon due harvesting. it has stolen some of her light over the past week or so but this will be corrected as I begin harvesting the other strains running shortly. Monster mash isnrhe biggest surprise... she came up out of nowhere over the last few days. She now towers the whole grow rooms strains. Her cola lengths are looking very positive with the nodes reaching to low in the canopy too. She will also benefit from a move around as I harvest the other strains. She will get a prime position to keep those colas stacking up long. They have all had a defol at day 21 and the air can get around their frames really easily to keep the chance of mould right down. So far so good and very happy days ahead . Be safe and well growmies.

Day 36 Flowering: Hi all , hope we are preparing for the weather changes and stocking up stress hormones for the heat ?. I am hoping i have timed this last group of autos and their 18 hours light needs to finish as the heat rises . I am excited to be running the Herz O.G again as a photoperiod along with the Exotics seeds fast sherbet. should be fun. I amended the soil today with the last use before harvest of the ecothrive charge and eco-life and water. I am hoping the combination of Megacrop and living soil can be balanced as I love both products for their abilities and use The Herz O.g is an impressive lady so far and has begun to stack those colas very nicely on all her mains. She is looking very productive early on and will no doubt build some very chunky fat colas. No signs of any stress or issues and even at a full feed , she just gulps it up and grows bigger.. I do try to feed to just the point of tip burn to keepnthem at max feeding but with autos and a living soil this has been harder to achieve. it buffers very well in the l.o.s. I have raised her up to get her nearer the lights until I move a much bigger plant put to harvest. Strawberry Cola is slightly taller than the Herz and is beginning to form some nice colas that want to join up already. Another great lady in the making. Monster mash has stopped going vertically finally and makes her the tallest girl in the house ... Her node spacing had me worried initially that she would be clusters of buds rather than long colas but she is starting to close the gaps now so lets see. She has some nice growth overall and once I move a few more plants out I will get her set out a little better for more par. All of these girls have been feeding well and have grown very quickly so far. The next few weeks will be fun too no doubt. grab some of these seeds for an easy ,healthy grow. be safe growmies.

Day 43 Flowering: Hi all , hope we are red eyed and contemplating life ?. This week has been another great week for these genetic wonders. lol They have all spent their energy fattening out their intended bud sites and setting up for the boost that is building up fast now. They have all been placed directly under the lights now so have the full spectrum of Mars Hydro goodness beaming down on them all. Herz O.g jas really packed the pistils on now and her mains are very well covered with hairy colouring budlets that smell so sweetly now and have begun to really pack on the trichromes too. With her being a 7 week (49 days !) flowering strain on paper , I don't see her finishing in the next 7 days .lol She has a little to offer yet I think so we will totally ignore the science and go with the lady herself!!!!!. heehee Strawberry Cola is looking nice and shaggy too. her buds rwmjnd me of shook up soda now with her fizzy looking appeal close up. Her node are still in the process of joining up and with 3 weeks to go she has time. She smells really candy sweet now and her trichs are really stacking below decks on the lowers. she should make a nice plant at harvest. Monster Mash has staked her claim on the tallest of the grow. my initial worries of long node spaces are unfounded and she is proving her genetics can handle filling them in now. I can see so many potential donkey dicks in this lady ( not meant to sound like it does! ooops .lol) I expect the coming weeks to continue to impress with these beauties and hope you can stay along for the ride. Day 50 Flowering: Hi growmies. A great week again with these gems. They are all now in their final stage of flowering and I expect them to swell a little more and also to begin the ripening of the trichromes to all cloudy with a few amber ones. They are all doing really well and look to be fed as they need and also no signs of any deficiency. I do kot flush as I am in Living organic soil/coco and also do not use salt based nutes throughout the grow to need to wash from the medium. I also do not believe that flushing has any benefit besides error correction or to reset the medium again. With a slow dry , they use all the harsh chlorophyll that is mistaken for nutrient traces often in quicker drying methods. Herz Og by her standard growing cycle , should be finishing now but I think she can be easily pushed another week or so. Her smell is really sweet now up close with a nice tacky feel to her too. She isnt a big plant but is really well laid out for those pollen transporters to sand the wind to get through . Strawberry Colais am absolute trichrome monster. She is really packing the trichs onto her budstacks and sugar leaves tonwjere they don't look real close up. The camera focuses and tries again to refocus when I take pics of her .lol Certainly knew of the heaviest trichrome producers I have grown to date... I can see hownthe cola name is relevant too with how "fizzy" they appear . She smells candy sweet and very nice . Monster Mash looks alone and like the lanky girl at school who tries to look smaller. lol Her buds are fairly spaced out on the long stems and look more clumpy than joined up. I had to bend the main one over to allow the lights to be kept even for the other plants but she is getting more light to the lower portion now. Her buds are not very fat or chunky yet but i am hoping this week and the shogun Dragon force will help change that. Smell wise shebjas a fuel/sweet aroma to her which is familiar. lets see how she finishes now. So it seems that this last few weeks will sort the wheat from the chaff with a yield report soon. These strains have been very simple and easy to grow and manage with very little effort on my part. If your up for a grow with an auto , definitely consider these genetics from Exotic seeds , my experience so far has been all positive and their end results are top shelf buds and taste. Day 56: Well here we are growmies. The beginning of the end with the 1st willing lady to the chop being the Strawberry Cola. She is so close now and any day, she will be taken out and placed into darkness for 48hrs at least. Her trichrome production is crazy amd shebjas to be even more frosty than the gg4 I love. Her colas are a very nice size and density and arw covered in frost the entire length. I will be checking her trichs with a scope later to see where she is at. watch this space !!!. Herz O.g is looking really nice and potent now .Her lower leaves ares beginning to go a really nice red colour which is also reflected in some of the mature looking buds. She is a 10 week strain and I can see hownanother couple of weeks could see her bigger but I will scope her trichs too as she looks very ready despite the data. She smells sonsweet amd has a chocolate smell I can't shake when nice smell her , a little fuit but def some chocolate , might be a snack bar I can't place but choc all the same.lol She isnt the biggest plant in the grow but certainly looks quality at this stage. Monster Mash is living up to her name in overall limb sizes and length but her buds still look a little less full than her rivals. She is at her supposed harvest window now but seeingnthe new pistils beginning to pop out has me thinking she still has a little more to offer. I will check her too and ensure I don't let my hopes ruin her sweet spot for harvest. Overall a great week to watch develop with so many trichs and colours to observe and smell. I think that rhe Strawberry cola will be out by the next update I feel and possibly the Monster mash so until next week growmies , be safe and free. I am excited tonadd that I now have some more exotic ladies in the soil germinating as I type. 4 x Banana Mash auto 3 x Purple Monkey auto let's see what else we can enjoy....

Day 63 flowering: Well here we have it Growmies. 63 days of Marsian sunshine and plenty of enriching feeds and we have reached the crux point. The Strawberry Cola finished beautifully and was taken out 4 days ago. She has been in the dark along with the Monster mash who went in yesterday. Both girls had begun to show amber trichromes with the scope so we're ripe for pulling . More on those with ther harvest reports . Herz Og looks so edible right now . she still has clear trichromes around and no real signs of amber ones to concern me.yet. A few more days should see her finish perfectly I hope. She isnt a huge plant but the quality on close up is amazing. I am now only using water until she finished to leech through the Dragon force to avoid any after taste in rhe buds. We are getting to the best bit now but also the hardest part . The waiting to dry and not rushing it is always the most difficult part for me.lol Enjoy the pics and I will catch you on the harvest reports. The dark period had her sweating more oils for sure too so she needs to benleft alone to dry them into her buds now as she dries. shebfinishwd perfectly. Very easy to grow and the germination was very straight forward too. Once out too the gate she gre really well and hit flowering around week 4. I did a little lst to try to hold the height down but I think they would not grow toontsll if left a little more natural too. A little training to encourage the lowers to catchnupneoth the main and some tying down the 5th node to break its apical dominance and allow other mains to form. She did brilliantly during her stretch but did stay fairly squat with limbs forming a nice crown effect. during flower , she held herself out well to get each stem good lighting. A good strain to grownas an auto and def recommended for any level grower. Grab yourself some seeds from Exotic seeds and have some great bud for summer parties...

A grwat grower from the seedling stage. she had the biggest frame of all of rhe plants growing and her limbs after stretch were very long . She was easy to train initially but the stretch needed a firmer hand and I missed that one. This could have given her the fatter buds I expected too. I will grow this again for sure. Nice work Exotic.

A very worthwhile strain that grows very happily with very little input but benefits from a little lst would improve yield. The quality of the buds is top drawer and will be in my top 10 for sure. The height should not be an issue for most grow spaces but could be a grwat advantage for smaller space , secret grows. definately worth a dabble growing.
