Nori Cake is overflowing with resin, it is truly exceptional from this point of view, the flowers are as hard as stone, marble and all the hardest things you can imagine. The flowers are not giant but you can see that they are very heavy. It is one of those plants that seems small but is actually quite a large quantity. The Genetics are excellent and do not betray, they are very beautiful in all respects. I find the color super interesting, the upper part of the plant at the end of the cycle has become a breathtaking color between blue and purple. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Welcome to my pink rozay x strawberry banana auto diary from original sensible seeds. Veg Days 15-21 Doing well. Have been able to put my RH back up to 70% so expecting much better growth. Hopefully she'll stay in veg for another 2 weeks. But I've yet to have an auto go by 28 Days in veg. Maybe with growth been slow and been started in a big pot she'll grow nice and big. Let's see. She's healthy and I've moved her off onto a new enzyme from Terra Power and took her off the others. Sticking to feeds between 450-550ppm. PH 6.0-2. Base feeds twice a wk. With 1 Epsom salt feed with some cal powder to bring my 110ppm tap to 250-300 and then I also add an enzyme feed that acts also like a follow up water feed. Roughly 4 feeds every 7-9 days, depending breaking base feeds up every 3-4 days. "This will be a common feeding pattern so won't be bringing up much about this again unless adjusted" Have moved most of my plants under my new SP 3000 300w now. Great versatile light. Pulled the second cherry Cola today and it looks and smells just like heaven , some nice pinks , purples and greens . Plants look to be around 12 oz together but we’ll see how they dry .

I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn’t think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn’t need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I’m working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn’t have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. Tropicana got a liquid breakfast this morning made out of two liter rainwater with 20% ready comfrey manure which is rich in silica and tannins and essential minerals. Be careful with liquid manure as you should have experience in giving high doses. Never more then 20% of the watering on moist soil and never give it pure and after the water. It will burn the roots. This is very fresh, only one week old and not too concentrated. Next week I will give maybe 10%. So, we just enjoy a sunny morning with a healthy breakfast and coffee! 😊 Day 49 ⛅️☁️🌥️ 10-20 degrees and humidity is 91%. Tropicana got thirsty. She drinks more, 0-5-0,75 liters rainwater. Day 36: Week 6 off to a start. Everything is looking good. Watered with nutrients(1ml SR, 4ml B). Only had 2ltrs ready and got no run off with this amount. Clipped off 5 or 6 of the lowest leaves that weren’t getting light. Day 37: Watered again tonight as the soil felt dry. Same dose of nutrients as last night. Took 3ltrs before I had sufficient run off, she’s a thirsty one. Removed all ties for the moment bar the tie holding the main stem down but I did loosen this a bit. The plant is very wide so I want the branches to move in a bit as the grow up. Day 38: I had to clip off a good few leaves. I know defoliation is a bad idea at this stage but the plant is very bushy and I’m finding damp patches on leaves. Day 39: I put my hand on the pot tonight and I couldn’t believe how light it was. After taking 3ltrs only two nights ago, it took 4ltrs tonight. Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 4ml B). Day 41: Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 4ml B). Still clipping one or two leaves each night because it’s so crowded in there. Plant looks very healthy. Day 42: Six weeks old, where has the time gone. I remember it when it was just a seed. 😀. Plant grew 16cm this week.

Everything is on point. I’m at day 35 of flowering. I remember a while back there were a lot of Barney’s farm haters saying they only got hermaphrodites or whatever their bs. Either you just sucked as a grower or you got an absolute fluke. Everything I have ever ordered from Barney’s farm has not only been stellar. But everything I have grown from them vs the same strain from other breeders , Barney’s farm has always taken number one. Many thanks to those wonderful people at BF across the world. Keep it up. Hello present and future growmies! Welcome to the start of week 9 for Queen Citronella. First things first, please go and check week 8, I update daily and the week is now complete. Day 57: Her majesty is parched and so overgrown in her space that I've decided to give her a haircut. It will hopefully make her easier to move about too. I've fertigated 10l today and performed LST adjustments and significant defoliation. Made a little collage to show the training I did. Day 58: Tried to colour correct photos. Any good? Day 60: Disaster! SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong! The Queen is unwell and now I shall try to figure out why. It seems like heat stress but I don't get how. Alright I think it is heat stress but I am not sure how, the temp hasn't gone above 26 degrees to my knowledge. Two things have changed this week first my house has been about 3 degrees warmer, and second I switched the main tent to 20 hours. I wonder if the additional time and the extra heat in the house has caused it to get too high. I have opened a flap at the side of her tent, and I am going to drop the light in the main tent down to 19h. As well as this I am now leaving a window open when the lights are on. Hopefully I can stop it getting worse but it is all over the plant. :( Okay soI think I have caused nute tox/shock - specifically I think what happened was an accidental big overdose of CalMag raising the EC too high. These symptoms came on way too fast to be a simple deficiency or lock out, and the PH wasn't so far off as to cause these issues. I've treble checked and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees, nor dropped below 17. I flushed her through with PH water today approx 40 litres - until runoff was clear and correct PH. I am not going to nute her for a day or two. Day 62: I have ordered the queen a new tent. 75 x 75 x 200. She's still asleep at the moment but I'll photo her later. She's really taken a hammering from, what I now believe is, nutrient toxicity. Day 62: Her majesty is looking much revived compared with the last few days. I THINK she will be ok. I've made a video assessing the damage. Ouch. Sorry your majesty, please not off with my head! Day 63: Alright I have a new tent for her majesty arriving next week and I've new airflow for the main tent. She seems to have recovered from the burn and is stretching again. End of week summary: First big mistake and first serious issues for Citronella. Sorry about that. However she has now recovered and is growing again. I cannot undo the damage but I think I have halted any further damage. Let's see what happens next week.

Fukushima was an easy grow. Smells of straight pinesol!

This girl isn't looking super frosty but she smells like candy. Almost an identical aroma to the slurricane 7. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Missed a watering one week , sorry for the small amount of yellow leaves but it all smells amazing :) . Hoping by adding magnesium sulphate in the feed I’ll be able to bring back some of the colour in the foliage, but other then that everything looks and smells great ;) enjoy!
