this diary is a week ahead. will get in back in line soon. day 0-7 to be as week 1 not including the germ week. This banner kept much shorter than its brother. its also in a slightly shallower tub of soil so this one is flowering a bit quicker than its counterpart too. to keep it at the same height as all my others ive raised it from the floor slightly and then put the screen over top to bend the top cola. buds forming nicely now. i said fuck it. full organic feed for you.! nutes then fresh water twice then nutes again. deinking now a litre every 3 days. hardy plant but a couple white spots on the leaves... slight calmag to give prob.. end of week 5 flowering up to day 35. week 6 as of 36--> ps if anyone has a spare grow tent that they could donate me that would help a brother out ;) day 40. adjusted to normal schedule

Strong week. Finished at 2.2 ec. Clean water. Flora flex nutes are top notch. No dirty brown water. Ph fluctuates a bit. If you check on daily you are good.

Now that you are all caught up, we are in week three a flower. I just gave them a top dress feet of Gaia green just blown because I still have just a little bit up all purpose in there but other than that I look at them every morning, give a big smile and turn on their favorite Mosark album

I'm highly impressed with the autopots so far. It's very unlikely that I would have given the plants as much water as they have taken up and they would have suffered, as I was out of town for 3 days and they went through over 10gal while I was gone. Closed the valve on the autopots Fri evening and started up a batch of tea (about 2 gal) with kelp, alfalfa, bat guano, worm castings and, of course, Real Growers Recharge. I'll let the tea bubble for at least 24 hours and then split it between all 4 girls on Sunday just after topdressing and just before lights off. Autopots will get turned on at this time too. Everyone loved the change in light cycle and are starting to stretch nicely. Put up smaller squared trellis netting to spread out the bud sites as they continue to stretch. BBM1 is just a big, healthy girl and really think she's gonna give me a great harvest. BBM2 is filling out nicely and I think both the Cheese and Gruntz will need some tying down to keep the canopy as even as possible, even with the scrog. So anxious for the Blueberry smells to kick into gear.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. She's flowering fast now, I hope she will finish before October rains. Every side branches is thicker as the sister's main branch. Expected harvest time october 1st/2nd week. This will be a hard challenge to complete flowering without mold issues. If she doesn't gave to me at least 2lbs of weed, I'll kill her. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. As of day 21, growth is strong and I have begun LST. I have transplanted to a 5g grow bag, as the roots had fully populated the previous 1g container. The lower leaf browning has continued, despite a nice healthy root system (confirmed during transplant), so I have added h202 to the reservoir. This should prevent bacterial growth/PH swings, and will hopefully this will fix the issue. Overall, my nutrient mixing and fertigation schedule is the following: -H202, wait an hour. -Liquid silica, wait an hour. -Cal-Mag -Micro -Grow/bloom -Humic acid -Rapid start -Confirm EC (1.3) -PH down to hit a PH of 6 Then I fertigate to 10-20 percent runoff. I fertigate 2-3 times a day, as the coco/perlite blend is very resistant to overwatering. Thanks for reading, and happy growing! 🌱👍

Its been raining hard the start of this week, i assumed i killed all the mites last couple weeks from the seven concentrate, but i have to spray every 3 days or so when they mature, and the spray can kill them. Killing the eggs would be the best solution. I also started to spray with baking soda to combat the molds we get here in this humid environment.

Exciting week watching the Pineapple started to bulk up and was looking great. The Purple Kush not so much. Fed when pots felt light and was consistent: Pineapple 8ml in 3800ml Ph between 6 - 6.2 Purple 6ml in 2750ml Ph between 6 - 6.1 *Pineapple was growing so fast, could not keep up with it in terms of training and nutrients.
