Week 4

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/1- Here we go into the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower's 13th week from seed and this lady is kickin ass and taking names! I am continuing to water late in the afternoon on days when we don't get any rain and she seems to like it. I will also be top dressing her in about two weeks to keep the microbial colony fat and happy! 7/3- The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering of the GG4 Sherbet FF continues. I also removed a few shade leaves that were below the canopy, as well as some in the middle of the plant that were blocking a lot of light to new shoots. 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 7/5- Early this morning we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the GG4 Sherbet FF approx. 3g of well water from the garden hose. 7/7- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and today, after watering, I got under the trellis net and removed a bunch of shade leaves that were growing straight down through the net doing absolutely nothing but sucking up nutrients better used elsewhere on the plant. Stick a fork in another week for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower. While I was away in Mallorca, enjoying the sun and smoking some Sativa Landrace, the girls were given a more simple feed to make things easier for my friend whilst he was taking care of the garden. The feedings came to around 700ppm (Including 150-190ppm tap water). As you can see in the video I've been bending her down for a couple of days instead of tying a string to her. It's just a lazy LST that should basically do the same thing. This girl has really bounced back and shown great growth since increasing the feed strength. She's keeping a good structure and should make a nice bush. Every second feed from here on out will also contain Mammoth P for the first time in my garden! 🐺

8.3. - Last week for last two plants. These Fritters look really tasty and buds are hard as real apples 🍏 This week I won't use any nutrients, just pure water. Watered 💧 11.3. - Plants have been in dark for last two days and without watering. Considering that I'll harvest today as my next seeds are already soaked in water. 8.3. - 14.3.2024

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week 20/5 - 26/5

26.1.25: I have had a mistake 😕 i spilt some Fish Mix as I was experimenting with a syphon from some aquarium tubing I have. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the syphon out! Ugh 😣 However, it is fish emulsion and very thick consistency. Therefore, I was able to scrape it up with 2 of my business cards up off the counter. So added this extra into the next 2 ltr solution I mixed. All plants were watered with at least 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3. Containing the following nutrients;- ♡ 3ml Seachem Seaweed ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 3ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag ♡ .25g Ecothrive Biosys. ♡ 2.5g of Bicarbonate of Soda as PH UP. Unfortunately I have broken my PH pen too. Accidentally submerged it under water, then the readings went crazy. I'm leaving it to dry by standing it up but I'm most likely going to need a new one, which is extremely annoying 😑 I'm going start implementing the Scrog net probably some point next week if I let the plants that are in flower to just grow up now, as I do believe that I stunted Watermelon 🍉 by using too strenuous LST. Hopefully the plants still are able to grow upwards at this stage during flower for all the Purple Punch P1, P2 and P3. We will soon see! 28.1.25: My PH pen has packed up 😣 I've got to wait to get another. It's super annoying 😑 so I'm just judging by memory how to regulate it. Unfortunately, that's my only choice! I'm also out of the dechlorinator 😕 things are not going very well this week so far 😅 I guess we will have to make do, until I can get replenished. 29.1.25: I removed all the plants, hoovered, and disinfected the tent. There were several accidents when watering, causing some debris and splashes. I decided to just go ahead and get a few other things done. It's crazy how quickly things can become neglected! 😣 So I defoliated moderately on all plants except Gorilla Cookies seedling. I have absolutely dropped the ball on my lighting situation! My light was much further away than I thought! I turned it up to 100% and dropped it down to just under 2 feet away. After I reset the tent, I set up my scrog net. I removed 80% of all LST pegs. I am planning on letting the scrog net take over the training from here. I really want to minimise the risk of mould, so I decided to start using my dehumidifier. It has raised up to 73% RH this week, so it's necessary. Hopefully, I will be able to get my dechlorinator and PH pen soon! That's kind of essential to me. It's been a little bit of a stressful day in the garden, to be honest 😅 30.1.25: So I am expecting the arrival of my new PH pen today, as well as my new bottle of Ecothrive neutralise. It is supposed to measure the TDS and EC in addition to the standard TEMP and PH, which I had previously. Obviously, time will tell if it's any good or not. I realise, much too late now, that my lighting is very insufficient for this many plants. I need double the watts at least, and coverage is very poor. I remembered I had an old LED floor lamp, which was in a corner being unused. I decided to take the stand off, and Zip tied the pole onto the tent pole at the back left corner. I have no idea what the wattage is, and it's quite pathetic 😅 but I mean, I might as well use it, being as I definitely cannot afford more lights! 😣 Next grow, I will probably only grow 2 plants, max 4, and just use larger 7-10 Gallon pots. Being as I ran out of dechlorinator, I only watered some plants properly because I only had enough to make 6 litres. When my pen arrives, I will get everything properly watered. 31.1.25: The leaves of several plants are showing signs of iron deficiency. This is likely due to my PH pen packing up earlier. I now have a new pen. Due to this, I decided to use my Seachem Prime, which I use for my aquariums. As I wanted to get them watered properly, and my Ecothrive Neutralise hasn't arrived yet. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added .25g Ecothrive Biosys to the water. May give them a breather on the nutes and just use the Cal-Mag and Biosys. Being as I've just topped dressed with rich fertilisers, I'm sure that will be OK for the next several waterings. Snipped another couple leaves which were annoying me 😅 I realised this is one of the pots I put my clay pebbles the bottom of. So I've probably not been watering enough, as she's right at the back, and assuming all was good because the pot was heavy. I went ahead and gave all the plants a thorough watering each with: 2ltrs of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.2 with:- ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid Going to keep an eye out to see when they need more in next couple of days. They're all looking very well, except the slight colour fade on Bubble Kush

So i had a lockout mid flower, i should have flushed earlier but in the end the buds got dense and fat

First week of flower not much to do, defoliate few leaves and leave the plant to do its thing. As far as training most of it is already done now so just letting plant stretch up and get some decent height.

4/30 one of the plants has actually visibly stretched more in the last 48 hrs. Starting to impress me with the pistols. Still way smaller than their projections online but whatever 🤷🏽‍♂️ 5/4 end of the week and I’m pretty okay with their size now 😂 they went through a sizable stretch. I’ll have to get my measuring tape back in the tent because each time I’m adding to this diary, I question whether I’m on the right week or not because they look like dwarfs compared to the end of the week

3/3 COP is looking great. I should’ve grown her separately because 3/4 plants in the grow tent are indica dominant. I feel that she is the only one that is showing sativa dominant phenotype and is continuing to grow although budding has started. It worries me because I only have a few more inches of space to lift my lights before I may have to super crop her. She’s drinking about 2.5-3 gallons of water every 4-5 days. I also installed another scrog net.

Harvest time! Finally! Super happy with this grow! I'll update harvest with pics of jarred buds after it dried 💚 Last values were 200 ppm💚

So the video shows lights going out at the end of week 2 in the bloom phase. The phantom are developing a little faster than the Sherbert. And likewise those below led are developing faster than those below HPS. Everything looking healthy and growing to plan, well even quicker than that, hopefully week three will bring the spreading of buds and sites and the onset of trichome covering😍😍😍 Update-

Hello my friends 👨‍🌾🌲, All was fine this week, Harvest look more and more close, I think between 1 or 2 weeks. I started to stop a fertilizer, I've given a last time water + rqs tabs + sugar royal this start week. After that only Water. 2.5l/plant each 2/3 days PH@6 And will start my flush this new week. 26.06 After connecting the air conditioner, the temperature stabilized and I have differences of about 7-8 degrees between day and night. Today I replaced one mixing fan, because the well-deserved Chinese one has already lost its power. He served almost 2 years, which is a really good result. I replaced it with High Pro, none of them lasted as long as the Chinese one. The plants look very nice, I haven't noticed excessive activity of Sciara militaris. Soil Attack and yellow sticks do the job. Humidity 53% 27.06 The stems have regenerated nicely, but I'm still going to hold the knees a bit to strengthen them. I added water from Soil Attack. They swell beautifully, the hair on the flowers is very long, which means good adaptation. Water 2L. Humidity 63% 2.07 I measured the amount of PPFD at peak places and they were too low. So I lowered the lamps. I added a small dose of Power Silica to strengthen the stems, because after super cropping the plants may have a problem with maintaining the top. The conditions are good. Day 28-29 degrees, night 19-21. Humidity from 54-63%. At this stage, I can easily maintain such humidity, especially since I have well-mixed air in the tent.

Ya en la recta final familia, están apuntito, solo unos días más. Nuestras lemon kush ya recibieron su lavado de raíces , están sin productos ya solo AGUA. Controlamos de todas formas el Ph igual y que no baje por debajo de 6,2. Bestiales estás flores , un olor muy característico con tonalidades cítricas que recuerdan al limón. Todo un clásico en verdad. Estos ejemplares carecen de brazos laterales, son óptimas para un SOG desde semilla, pudiendo llenar 16 plantas en metro cuadrado.
