Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.

Humidity has been the biggest struggle. The dehumidifier I bought was complete useless only moved RH 1% down. Tried a couple different things to try to combat the excessively high RH (75+%) openings up extra flaps in the tent didn’t work so I decided to turn on my carbon Filter fan. Which seems to be maintaining it at 55%, however prior to me being able to start my fan I had to clear the water out of my exhaust ducting. It had accumulated at least 1/4 gal of water, this to me was a clear indication of my humidity problem. Another thing I want to rant about is PH pens I haven’t been able to find a pen worth a damn and yes I have been properly handling them. My first one died on a watering day and I didn’t have a back up so I ordered two more off amazon which don’t seem to be working well either. I ended up doing it the old school way with the drops and shaking it in a tester. Oh I also gave nutrition a break past two feedings I had a slight burn on the tips will probably do one more plain water then put her back on nutrition. Went back to nutrition early then I intend due to a slight nitrogen deficiency I don’t thing it’s gonna be a big issue just gonna continue to monitor.

This is a clone only strain I have been running for a little while and it never disappoints! Dense buds that stink the whole place up with its earthy, pungent, sweet smell. Not a huge yielder but it makes up for it in resin production. Probably not a good strain for First time growers as it needs topped, trained, and trellised. Overall happy with the way this run turned out lots of main buds, I ended up with 316.3 grams of trimmed nice frosty buds. I also took the rest of the buds (when they were wet)and put them in the freezer for some ff bubble hash. I ended up with 433.7 grams of wet fresh frozen material.

The buds on Black Opium are looking so fat, and they're so heavy I've had to stake the plant with my new stronger stakes. I have tied the stakes to the stems with soft fabric ties. I couldn't be happier with the results that we have so far, and I think we are still a few weeks away from harvest. Quite a lot of the pistils are still white. I like to leave my plants a little bit longer. Just to make sure that they're ready. I always check the trichomes. Maybe she'll even stack on some more weight who knows, fingers crossed, and we'll see what happens! I'm just trying to keep the buds and the stems intact. The plant has definitely increased the need for water and feedings. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 3.25L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K 2.5TSP 💜 Cal-Mag 1.5TSP 💜 Biosys 2TSP PH: 6.5 PPM: 1020 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Week 4 - plants have grew substantially and have reacted good to mainline technique.

This is the frostiest plant I've ever grown. She is incredible.... Got a few weeks to go though.

This week I changed up my nutrient feeding as I figured out that I read the bottle wrong and was not adding enough food. I adjusted the feeding and the girls took off. the girl that I planted a week later than the rest and topped has now passed one of the original that I planted. Since it was my first grow I wasn't sure about topping but the plant the one I topped ended up growing in a much better uniform plant. I have noticed the leaves don't get as big on the topped plant and I really haven't had to defoliate. The plants that I just defoliated are doing well and finally started to get some height.Seeing as I am running out of tent room this is their last week in veg. My 6" vivosun inline fan started to make a horrible noise so I replaced it with an ac infinity much quiter. The vivo sun pushed alot of air and was semi quiet when I first got it but that only lasted two months.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G
