So the pics are few days old due to there being a problem with my page for some reason. Buds aren’t really getting fat and the girls have yellowed quite a bit since I took these pics on Monday. Still learning I think I just didn’t start feeding them early or heavily enough and they never really recovered. It looks like my yields will be well down vs my 2nd grow which was all organic... which I may go back to for G4. Anyways, given them big feeds and plan to harvest the most developed plant end of this week and let the others go another few weeks to see if they gain any weight. So lessons learnt. This is one of the best looking plants I have grown yet. I wish I had performed some LST on it but overall it is massive and has no issues with development or nutrient deficiencies. Roots have taken over the res and it looks like old lady’s hair inside the nutrient solution. Air stone is providing oxygen to the submerged roots so no signs of issues there. About two weeks left on this grow and then onto the next SweetZZ by RQS 👍

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Put the plants in a environment (-> tent) where I could control temp. and humidity better. Plants #2 and #3 moved from their 200ml pots into 8L fabrics on day 25. Could have waited a few days with that, since barely any roots where visible. Applied some Dynomyco and water with very low amount of Hesi TNT to all plants on day 25. At about this point my excitement grew, since growth was finally accelerating and a little smell proofed that this was at least the right kind of plant. Slowly introduced the GCxSolo at about 35cm distance on day 19 and increased its output from 25-100% over 2 weeks.

I don't know if I am just getting impatient but these GTH are taking ages . IM 7 weeks in and they could go as far as another 5 weeks!! Christmas is coming and my buds ain't getting fat 🙄 I just need to be patient. I'm going to add another 600w as I can afford it heatwise and after so long flowering i want to do all I can think to good result . I can't wait to see the back of this one 👊 3 days after this post I had a good growth spurt and some major development in my bud structure, on reflection, my plants look lovely. THe leaves are healthy and shiny, they are dark . I tied a lot of branches down and defoliated . THis has helped keep humidity levels down during lights out and also have given me the chance to have a good look at what's going on below the colas. I'm really pleased 😁. I was a bit down at the start of this week as you can tell by the start of my diary but by the looks of things it's gonna be a monster. Bud sites forming fast, awesome node spacing on a few in particular....their size is pretty close to what i was anticipating for stretch, I may do a medium defoliation once more before letting them just do their thing, i really hate stressing them much beyond 3 weeks of flower...

Aquí vemos el momento de la felicidad plena, donde la genética y el banco cumplen su palabra y sugerencias, una genética super independiente, con poco cuidado se llevo el premio de la mejor entre las otras plantas que he cultivado este año, aguanto mucho las plagas, con excepción de la ultima semana que entre la humedad y las lluvias, los trips aprovecharon el lavado de los preventivos para atacarla, pero no llegaron a ser un problema, la planta tuvo un crecimiento continuo y parejo, desarrollo muy buena estructura y producción impresionante!!!!!, 820 gramos de cogollos húmedos, muchísima resina, cogollos super compactos y duros, en el día de mañana estaré generando una extracción para probar retorno, color y sabor, muy contento de haber cultivado esta magnifica joya del banco BSF Seeds, mega recomendado.

Eats very well, no more signs of leaf tip burn. Lots of smaller tops emerging, becoming bushy. Roots looking good for most part, still showing healthy white roots submerged. Still using mister to keep humid in root zone.

These little ladies are growing good. I put them indoor for the next couple weeks before transplanting them into the greenhouse. I'm starting to see Roots come out the bottom of the cup so now that the root zone is building I think I'll start seeing upward growth. All in all Happy Growing

Light schedule 20 hours on 4 hours off and the same with ventilation. Humidity approx 50 percent, water intake raised up 125 ml per plant per day. Fertilization continues on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Biobizz family and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. This week will change the old lamp and replace with Viparspectra 600W. Day 46: I am still waiting for the new lamp. I haven't updated 2 days. They are georgeus flowering nicely. Buds are getting thicker and the purple strains are getting pure Balckberry Kush and LSD-25. Day 47: I palced today the new Viperspectra 600W lamp. I have also changed the light schedule for 18/6.

Nov 13: Hash washing using fresh frozen plant material. This Gorilla Cookies had nice yield with most of the trichome recovery being on the first two washes. Later washes were still very high quality. Bag sizes used are 160/120/45/45 which means the 120 fraction is still very decent for immediate use and what is caught on the first 45 micron screen has a nice range (full spectrum). That’s how Frenchy Cannoli said he did it, so fine by me. Washed for 3 minutes, then 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12 minutes. A+ grade on first three washes and then only slightly worse on later pulls. I tried fresh frozen before and it was a disaster with way too much green in the extract. This time I avoided trimming sugar leaves by leaving them intact or removing them whole and that seemed to work. Will confirm hash yield after freeze drying but seems good. Extracted resin is the perfect sandy colour and is now in freezer. The freeze dryer should be wired in and ready to go later this week.
