Was another good week, had mostly sun and only two days of rain, one of them being today. No vertical growth again this week but she is really filling in. Back on nutrients 3 days a week but cut water back to 6L in morning and an extra 4L in afternoon (only when very hot and soil dries faster). Did a good defoliation on day 2 of the week, removed any branches growing inwards and cleaned up all around. No shock next day and by end of week almost filled back in again. Will give it time to grow through net but for sure 1-2 more defoliation in the future. Gotta keep good airflow through the middle to avoid problems down the road. So originally I had planned on just using the garden stakes, but that's just not going to cut it so McGivered a good support system. 2x2x12 screwed into the corners of the skids (fit perfectly in existing holes) and horizontal supports to strengthen it up. Netting around and two rows up near the top. Ready to take on the weight that this girl is going to put on. I would think that should start flower in next week? 🤞 end of July but they're still getting 12hours direct sun + 3-4 hours a day of sun filtered through tree canopy. If she don't start soon it's gonna be a late finish!

Hello Diary, I'm starting a new round on my little farm, the 18th since I started growing these beautiful plants. There are again three different Autoflowering strains at the Farm: Cherry Pie Auto, Purple Lemonade Auto and one of the legendary strains White Widow Auto. This journal will be dedicated to the Purple Lemonade Automatic. To begin with, I will write a few words about Purple Lemonade Auto itself. Purple Lemonade Auto ranks as one of the strongest autoflowering strains available and offers sweet, fruity, and floral flavors to boot. Not only that, but she races to harvest at lightning speed and delivers ample returns. Breeders from RQS created this variety by starting out with Purple Haze, a legendary sativa-dominant strain known for its euphoric high and sweet and spicy flavor. Then, they added Lemon Skunk to the mix to add an uplifting effect and boatloads of skunky phytochemicals. Finally, Sweet Skunk Auto was selected to contribute speedy growth and more mouth-watering flavors. Purple Lemonade Auto emerged from this triad as a fast and potent indica-dominant hybrid. Purple Lemonade Auto seeds produce vigorous and fast-growing plants that burst from sprout to harvest in just 10–12 weeks. The plant's indica and ruderalis genetics are really put on display when it comes to its height and internodal spacing. Plants remain quite compact, both indoors and out, but hardly to the detriment of yield quantity. Indoor plants maintain a stealthy height of 60–100cm but churn out 425–475g/m². SET-UP ON MY LITTLE FARM: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO ARAY 4 - 240W Ventilation - TT Silent-M 100 Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan Soil - BioBizz Light - Mix Pot - 11L fabric pots Seed - Royal Queen Seeds Nutrition - RQS Organic nutrition Let's officially start the diary. 16/07/2024 Planting plants. This time I decided on 11 lit. fabric pots, my dear friends at RQS sent me these nice pots and it's not like this is my first time using them. They are great to handle and prevent me from over watering the plants. For soil, I use BioBizz's Light Mix, mixed with Easy Boost organic nutrition in the form of pellets. I put 50g of pellets on the 11 liter pot. After that I put Seeaweed, 1g/lit and finally Mycorrhiza Mix which I put 5g/lit. After that, I mixed the soil in the pot well and soaked it with water. I put Seed Booster in the water, a new product from the rich range of organic nutrients from RQS. I made a hole in the middle of a few centimeters and put a seed inside. I did the same with the other two strains and after that I put them in the grow box. 20/07/2024 In the morning I sprinkled the surface of the soil with water, not too much, and by the end of the day all three plants had sprouted. 21/07/2024 I watered the plants, I gave each approximately 1 liter of water to which I added Seed Booster again. Before that, I photographed the plants. 23/07/2024 Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. That's all from me for now, I'm looking forward to a new trip as always. See you soon.

2/4/24 - Day 90 - Hello and happy water change day! For sure on the back half of the grow. She's getting bigger everyday! The buds as growing and getting more dense. 2/6/24 - Day 92 - GTFOut of here. She's not showing any signs of distress yet, she's still hulking! Those apples are getting bigger by the day! 2/9/24 - Day 95 - Hello all! Everything is going so good. The buds are getting bigger and the smell is honestly CRAZY. The box does a great job of keeping the smell low. But as soon as you open the box get ready. The whole block is smelling this for sure. I posted a video of me swapping out the D nutrient. It's such an easy process it takes more time to unbox the nutrients than it takes to install them. It's about 5 maybe 5.5 seconds to install. Watch the video to see the process! 2/10/24 - Day 96 - The trichomes are starting to get much more cloudy. Still not a lot of amber. She still is not showing any signs of going dead. Her leafs still look really green/purple.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. What do you think? What do you prefer to do? Thanks for reading this far, leave me a comment with your preferred method 👊🇨🇦❤️

A solid week in flower for both girls and looking good for it, plenty of bud sites on them and more happening every day. The Strawberry Banana loves a feed at about 80% strength grow and bloom at 700ml daily, looking very chunky and stocky. The Gorilla Cookies is on 500ml daily and a 20% feed once in every 3 with just the pH 6.3 water the other 2 and she works great on that. She's shown a bit of a sativa side this week and stretched out above the SB, not bad for what was the runt of the 2 and having had her main stem ripped 3/4 of the way through just above the 1st node! Bought another new fan as the last was too big. That one is circulating air now in the room which the tent lives while the new one is much better suited to face the plants and has a nice wide 110 degree oscillation and 3 speeds, so quiet as well for the power it puts out! The humidifier has been swamped out for a dehumidifier and while it's too early to say it just how good it is, it looks to be gathering a bit of moisture. The new Govee WiFi hygrometer had been a revelation in just how much things like opening the tent, lights off and feeding effect the temp and humidity so hoping I can use this to my advantage! A big defoliation for both girls on day 35 and a last adjusting of the LST to expose the many bud sites to as much light as possible. Hope it all looks good to an watchers on, any advice is always welcome!

I wish I could say this week went well..definitely wasn't the case..starting on Valentines day we experienced a severe snow storm in Texas, which is quite the unusual..for several days we experienced a power outage..luckily it starting while the girls was sleeping with lights out..so they had some extra darkness..if anything it does seems like they benefited more than it did them harm..they seemed to swell up a lil more..the power did finally come back on today, so ill be keeping a close eye on them the next few days hoping that they don't stress to hermies. I don't believe they will, but ill keep a close eye on them. I didn't manage to get a cheap battery operated LED light from Walmart to put inside the tent during the outage..hoping that it somewhat helps from stress. Other than that..I really don't know what else to tell you. Definitely was a crazy past few days..ill keep yall updated in my next upload..added a few pics I took during the outage..

Saludos
