Well, this is it. Wish I had bigger buds. Everything was moving in the right direction until the end. I switched the Mars Hydro 3000 out with two HLG 300s, so I could maintain the PAR just under 1000, but perhaps it wasn't enough. G13 is definitely not ready, and could benefit for a couple more weeks, but like a store liquidation, THEY ALL MUST GO NOW All in all, Learned a lot. No seeds, reveg, or signs of mold, so hopefully I'll make up for quantity with quality. Only Dry Time will Tell...

Day 43 (2020-06-21): Watered again today, but I think I might back off to every other day. I noticed the same nasty smell that formed in my reservoir is now in the runoff as well. Probably still growing in the medium. I'll try letting things dry out a bit more and add peroxide into the next watering. Day 44: (2020-06-22): Skipped watering today. The G14 mutant looks like it is going to have pretty low yield. The main colas have very small buds so far. Maybe it will eventually kick in, but I am thinking those smaller ones will just fatten up and not get much more vertical. Day 45 (2020-06-23): Skipped again today as things still seemed moist up top. Day 46 (2020-06-24): Both pots seemed light so watered around 3/4 gallon each @ 5.8 PH. I also added 3ml of 12% (food grade) H2O2 to help clear out any residual algae growth from the Blumat tank. Day 47 (2020-06-25): Flowers continue to develop. G14 is starting to fill out a bit, but the CBD is looking good. Will try to post some bud closeups before the week is out since the automatic picam snaps aren't doing it. Day 48 (2020-06-26): Skipped watering again today. Looks every 3 days is going to work although the G14 was a little lighter than the CBD when I last watered. May have to do every other day for it. Day 49 (2020-06-27): Watered today @ PH 5.75.

So I just transplanted them into one gallon pots before they go into the growace aircube. The one that the helmet took off some of the leaf is starting to actually wanna live and still growing she’s a little runt as you see in the pictures but I have faith in her. I think they will sit in these pots for a week then into the ebb and flow system. Can’t wait to see what that system has to offer once I know I will have a 10% off link for anyone who’s interested in buying one. Until next week happy growing. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 28 Noviembre: Se realizó una defoliacion agresiva y Lollipop. Desde ahora en adelante, además de pasar a nutrientes de floración, se regará generativamente, con muy poco o nada de runoff, para tener un dryback más largo, de unas 22-23 horas, de está manera subir la EC del sustrato(pwec) tratando de llegar de a poco a 10EC, es un stress controlado para que queden plantas más compactas y espacio internodal menor, básicamente más puntos de floración más cerca unos de otros.

Beginning of week 4!!! What a glorious week it's been! I had some friend watch my plants when I went away for a weekend. Bad idea. Plants experienced severe drought. I attempted my best and fortunately saved everyone but had some minor damage... I'm incredibly worried about male cannabis pollen entering the tents as some flowers did open up before I had a chance to remove them while I was away. I get them a good washdown with water to hopefully kill and pollen but we shall see what happens. My only saving grace was that all the males were isolated in their own tent with an exhaust fan pointed away from the female tents. Stretch is officially done!!!!. Some kept going for about 3 weeks especially the zed blacks which all stretched like crazy. The hash plants has moderate stretch. Rainbow belts very minimal.

Harvest done.! Total weight on both plants are 494.7 grams (17.4 oz...!) Wow.! I've added the video from first harvest week 12... Enjoy the vid and pics guys.! Happy growing))

12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.
