2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Día 26. Estamos en la 4ta semana. Por ahora mantengo la solución y la planta sigue creciendo pero ya está casi para cortar los esquejes. La semana que viene seguro estoy cortando, y ya tengo que preaparar todo para pasar al otro modulo del infoor. Decidi dejar de aplicar HST y apliqué una recnica con colgantes que bajan las ramas y las mantienen perpendiculares al piso. De esta forma las ramas laterales empiezan a subir. Está técnica me ha dado muy buenos resultados anteriormente. El crecimiento ha sido acelerado y las ramas estan bastante gruesas. Mañana voy a cambiar la solución. Vengo realmente contento con los resultados. Este experimento me va a permitir saber cuanto puedo llegar a sacar de este espacio y ver si me permite armar un ciclo para poder llegar a la próxima cosecha con remanente para poder ir guardando variedades diferentes. De paso ya tengo una referencia de cuantas semanas toma hasta poder cortar esquejes, y así saber en que momento poner la próxima semilla. Puse unas semillas bastardas que tenía, y las pienso mandar a la terraza a florecer directamente en el invierno. Otra experiencia que si bien no ha dado grandes resultados, ha sumado al stock. La semana pasada no llegué a subir mucho. Pero mañana hago un update de cómo se han movido las ramas bajas. En el último video se muestran bien las ramas que pretendo convertir en esquejes. Seguro saque varios, así que habrá para regalar si logramos que enraizen varios. De por cierto las manchas blancad que se ven, es tierra de distomeas que ha quedado desde la aplicación en 2da semana. Día 28. Termina la 4ta semana de crecimiento con un muy buen ritmo. Hoy cambié la solución y mantuve la formulación anterior (1g/L de feeding grow y 0,5g/L de green jungle bioestimulante de crecimiento). La planta está fuerte y ramificada. Sostengo que los esquejes se van a cortar un poco antes de lo previsto. Calculando que son 5 semanas de crecimiento y 1 semana de enraizamiento de esquejes, voy a tomar 6 semanas para preparar la próxima madre. Así que siendo esta variedad de unas 10/11 semanas de flora, voy a poner a crecer la nueva madre en la 4ta semana de floración. La planta tiene distancia internodal corta/media por lo que observo, así que es un detalle a tener en cuenta. Ya me empieza a dar la ansiedad de ver que todo va saliendo y quiero ya poder pasar a floración. Va a ser jna nueva experiencia hacer una planta desde semilla en hidroponía, ya que siempre hacía sólo esquejes y la madre la pasaba a tierra a florar en otro lado, debido a que por las raíces no podía sacarla del sistema que tengo ahora. Pero resolví eso y voy a ver por primera vez la potencia de la hidroponia en una planta desde semilla. Le hice corte apical a las dos ramas más largas esperando ver una mayor ramificación, ya que tengo un espacio de 1,2m x 0,55m por llenar y administrar. Espero que todo siga en marcha. 5/30/2023 Week 8- Day 1 of Flower (Day 117 overall) So two of the buds in the back fell over, it was definitely because they are getting heavy, I had to pick them up and tuck them in to the net to help support them they were so covered in Resin that I had to use Rubbing alcohol to clean my hand was so super sticky from touching the bud will have to use gloves from now on if I need to touch the buds. Other than that I sat back and got to watch the ladies grow. 5/31/2023 Week 8- Day 2 of Flower (Day 118 overall) Just watched them grow today.. :-) 6/1/2023 Week 8- Day 3 of Flower (Day 119 overall) I noticed on two of the bigger Fan leaves small signs of Calcium Deficiency so I fixed my Chart to up the Cal mag from .5 to .75 for the water change on Saturday. Other than that I let them keep growing on Auto Pilot, frost is everywhere including all the way ont the Big fan leaves this strain is super Frosty... 6/2/2023 Week 8- Day 4 of Flower (Day 120 overall) Auto Pilot engaged today.. Growers Hands stayed away just looked and apricated the beautiful buds that are forming. Tomorrow Water Change day! 6/3/2023 Week 8- Day 5 of Flower (Day 121 overall) There were a couple of sucker buds right up front today so of course I had to get rid of them. I did nothing but look in and enjoy the beautiful ladies. 6/4/2023 Week 8- Day 7 of Flower (Day 123 overall) Auto Pilot Day 2.. Just watched them be beautiful.. I did want to get a picture of where they stems meet to make an arch I thought it looked really cool and would be a fun pic. I also wanted to focus on the color differences between the two. I am amazed between this lightside/darkside, yen/yang, thing going on in the tent.. Plant #2 is decidedly bright green, like more light with hints of yellow throughout, and plant #3 leaves are getting darker and it has hints of purple coming in throughout the buds. It really is an amazing and fun contrast especially with the name Yoda Soda to have a type of light side/ dark side theme going on with the Two plants.

What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . Week 3 in the books !

Another good week. She's filling out nicely now.. her citrusy smell is starting to come through. Had no issues this week.. planning on adding some boost to her next few feeds.

I've enjoyed a lot growing this plant, I had to deal at tje end of thr cycle with fungus gntas but she resisted without problems, each day the flowers stink more and more, amazing genetic, I would definitely like to keep on working with this genetic, it's a pleasure to smoke, I recomend you to grow her organically like I did snd you'll see!

Flipped to 12/12 at the end of Week 7. The manganese issue seems to have been solved by lowering the pH levels. Ordinarily I'd strip most everything below the net this week, but a friend asked me to leave him some clippings until week 2-3 of flower. I cleaned it up a little underneath the net, continued to tuck new growth, and started to slack back on grow nutes, and slowly introduce flower nutrients. I was hoping to have a second Aglex 2000 COB LED to add to the tent for flower, but it may be another week or two before I can add it.

There’s microscopic bugs crawling on my buds! Going to post a grow question about them. No more nutrients, she’s definitely getting close, so let’s use plain water and hope for the best in the next week or two.

Well, I managed to do something that I really didn't expect :) the yield is small, just like the pot :) it was a wonderful trip ;) but from now on I will only grow it in big pots :) good luck to everyone :) I will add weight when it is ready :)
