Flower update! One in the middle almost ready. # royal runtz!

Finally harvested after a long back and forth whether too much fertilizer or too little fertilizer, I came to the conclusion that the left ladie was simply ready much earlier, which was probably due to the Co2. I'm looking forward to the weight and the taste it will take another 14 or at least 30 days until I know 2nd GROW :) Thanks to everyone who helped !!!

Very easy strain to grow. I grew the White Critical Express previous to this grow, I really liked it and wanted to try growing an Autoflower so I went for the Critical 2.0 and it was worth the grow.

Cosecha: -632 gramos secos, mucho más de lo que esperaba. -buen sabor, olor potente, efecto muy cerebral. -me atrase en varios procesos, lo que alargó al menos en unas 2 semanas el cultivo, sin cometer los mismos errores creo que se puede lograr más cantidad y más rápido. -Advanced nutrients siempre me ha dado buen resultado, aunque los productos son caros, en el segundo cultivo estoy probando otro fertilizante más barato y hasta ahora con excelentes resultados. -seguiré usando el mismo sustrato(turba + vermiculita en proporción 50/50). -en el segundo cultivo(Jamaican Dream 2) es posible que la cosecha sea más grande y más rápida, ya que voy aprendiendo de los errores cometidos y voy refinando el método. I am now flushing her with plain Brita filtered water PH'd with lime juice to lower her PH. I initially first flushed her with 42L of water and now I am flushing her once a day for 8 days and then I will put her in for darkness for 3 days and then I will harvest her and dry her for 9 days and then cure her for 28-48 days.

That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

Tag 21 der Blüte. Heute wurde die Lampe von 90 auf 100% also 300w hochgefahren. Es wurde kräftig gelollipoppt und störende Blätter wurden entfernt. Das Blätterdach ist sehr gleichmässig. Mich stört allerdings, dass sich im Verlauf der letzten Wochen viele kleine schwachen Seitentriebe gebildet haben einige davon wurden mit einem Entlichtungsschnitt entfernt. Hoffe so etwas mehr wenigstens mittelgrosse Buds zu erhalten (:

July 27th, 43 days post flip. Clones: I think at this point they are done growing. I keep having to super crop and twist and intertwine the branches beneath the light. At this point it has formed almost a bed in nature. I have some burnt leaves and tips but I’m not worried, I will have plenty of buds Plant number 2 has my favorite bud structure so far, close spacing and more modern. Plant number 3 seems to be an in between of 2 and 4 Plant number 4, the gigantic one, has these spear like buds. I suspect this may be the most primitive of the bunch and am looking forward to smoking it Plants finally starting to develop some distinct smells when I touch them. The one is very citrusy in nature Going to continue to give nothing but water, I may give some cal mag and maybe a little potassium but will see. Due to the fact that these grew above the light I’m looking at supplemental lighting I could run during the grow. Parents: Completely recovered from their topping two weeks ago. Going to continue to water and keep them happy God bless!

Buds evolve greatly, smell is very strong now I noticed some of the buds closest to the lights start to bleach out, i'll let that happen to maximize the lights on the lower branches(there are much more lower buds then ones very close to the lights) Still 2 weeks to go

Saturday, 12-02-2022 Plants not looking too bad at all. #1 Is smaller than all others but still looking ok. No visible ill effects remaining from DE treatment on all plants. Rain and cloudy conditions throughout the week have limited my feeding. Was only able to feed today since last week. Mix was runoff rainwater with 10 ml/gallon C AB Beta 3.12 and 7.5 ml/gallon Cytokin. Also foliar sprayed with same mix. Runoff water has not insignificant amount of "sand" from waterproofing membrane applied to roof last week. Need to monitor for effect. I cut back on nutrients to 10ml/gallon because the feeding charts of the nutrient I am copying has 10ml/gallon as being the appropriate heavy feeding rate for this stage of growth. Want to start incorporating humic acid to account for the reduced potassium in my nutrient mix. I noticed what appeared to be whiteflies escaping when I LST'd the two plants. Cotyledons seem to have disease. My IPM plan needs to get going next week. I need to remind myself that this Grow is a true trial for me. When growing other plants in the the past, I have sometimes been too "precious" or cautious or lazy. I have loved to death countless plants. I want to to try new techniques I have never done, feed on reasonable schedule and just live in each moment of the grow. I am binging Dog Whisperer now and one of the biggest things you can learn from that show is the benefits of just living in the moment. Forgetting the past, prepare for but don't stress about the future and just enjoy right now 😄. The plants are too underdeveloped to do the topping techniques I want to try but my urge to just do something on them led me to try LST on the two most developed plants. I was in two minds about this. The guide I am following about LST (https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/the-quadsquad-thread-a-community-for-quadlining.464769/), recommends topping first then training. But again, the urge to just do something to the plants after a week of mentally refining 😅 my techniques was just just too strong. Now that I actually did it I don't feel too bad because I see that nodes 1 and 2 are below my first tie downs so I am interested to see how that will work out. That said, I only have three plants left to grow the "documented way" so I need to control the urge to just act for action's sake without a clear goal from that action. Sunday, 13-02-2022 LST'd plant tops straightening out quickly, less than 24hrs after first tie down.

This plant is producing flowers very fast. A week before you could barely see pistols, now you can see them clearly stacking in every branch. She trippeled her size in just 2 weeks. Overall she is not a thirsty plant and accepts the substrate really well. I did not use fertilizer , only some silicate, but no NPK fertilizer . But still, her leaves are in a healthy dark green colour, even though only a light-mix has been used. Maybe I will add some small amounts of P and K mono, but I don't think it's necessary. So far no purple to be seen, I hope it changed in the further bud-development.

Yeah nutrients and ppm are not accurate. It’s close enough, but it’s a rough guess off the top of my head. I’ll try to take notes right away, that way I can remain accurate. No signs of mold or mildew. No pests or bugs. A few caught in the fly traps but never any visible “free” fliers. The cold from the two days really had her looking sad and definitely upset her momentum. But now that the heater is back, she’s not freezing with a low of 50F and high of 68F. Within an hour or so of raising the temp back to 70+ (I went straight to 78F) she was looking way better, leaves peeking back up. Lights are down at 30% for the night before going completely off for 4 hours. I’d say 30% for 4 Hours, then OFF for 4, then lights back on at 30% for another 2 and then back to 60% for the remaining time. Im doing this because my Golden Goat pheno is showing increased levels of magnesium deficiency when the intensity is higher. Does that make sense? Maybe the pheno doesn’t like the high UV LED lights? The Blueberry S1 and Mandarine XL as well as the little Critical Purple auto are all managing the light fine. Except I did notice a subtle magnesium deficiency in the MXL at one point, in a few leaves. Maybe the plants would benefit from a larger vascular system?? The Blueberry S1 is just jamming! But I’m upping the CalMag in everyone to help mitigate the delay in the magnesium. YES I could give more Epsom Salt. But a moderately heavy stack of Epsom Salts with a pH of 7, on top of a pH7 foliar feed of Epsom Salt, to immediately see continued signs develop towards a deficiency suggests another element at play. Maybe it’s still not enough Epsom salts?… Or: maybe something to do with the light is creating a high demand for magnesium and thus, the output outweighs the input. Either way, I’m going to be upping the Calcium input to build a bigger vascular system to hopefully solve this dilemma. It’s only noticeable in the GoldenGoat pheno. Barely visible in the MXL and only in one or two leaves total. Whereas the GoldenGoat has every leaf that hits 40-60% maturity develops a small indication of magnesium deficiency, yet it never progresses. Anyways, the Mandarine XL Auto is cruising along just fine. Also I like the anthocyanins coming out in some leaves. Although I attribute that to the high UVs.

Day 43 - she is growing very well a. Blue Dream smells amazing, the most fragrant fastbuds strain i have ever grown b. the flowering is going very quickly, there are sites everywhere c. uploaded video Day 44 - removed the under brush a. this plant has a lot of very small branches that need to be removed b. replaced 6L of nutrient solution, raised the ppms to 850 c. the flowering process is going very well Day 45 - beast a. the buds are growing exponentially by the day b. there was 6L of nutrient solution missing from the DWC, replaced with plain water to keep ppms in check between 650 and 850ppm c. the smell is very intense of this plant, it has a very interesting special smell for sure, unlike any other strain ive grown Day 46 a. growing very well, the buds are expanding b. drinking so many nutrients, she is a hungry variety c. the stems on this plant are out of control! d. added 6L to the DWC, raise the PM to 900 Day 47 a. buds are forming nicely b. she is growing very well, still producing new stems! Hi everyone, Buds are swelling nicely on the blueberry and gorilla. The gorilla is starting to smell amazing. I am hoping that all 3 will have been cut down within the next 4 weeks. The zkittlez hasn't seemed to have done too much and I have kind of given up on the buds fattening up at this stage.. I'm putting it down to this being my first run and the fact that I should have raised them closer to the light earlier as the others were so much taller. I'm thinking to feed the zkittlez plain water for the next 2 weeks to flush before harvest and feed the other 2 for a further 2 weeks before doing the same. what do you think? I'm going to have to make a drying box for outside the tent and fix this to the tent via ducting to create an environemnt for the zkittlez to dry. Does anyone have any advice here seeing as my tent is still going to be in use? Thanks for reading :)

Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.

Day 36 - In the picture, I demonstrated the efforts I put in for leaf tucking, the back half, so that light can get deeper in the canopy. A had also removed all of the flowering cover crop to prevent it from going to seed. It served its purpose and now serves as compost for my outdoor garden. Day 37 - This plant does not slow down! It is maxed out, for my preference, horizontally. Stretch is slowing down. Bud growth will now be the focus. Day 38 - She really needed a haircut, so she got one. Everytime I do this, I honestly scare myself. I know the potential these plants have, but a mistake that would cause additional stress to the defol can change everything.. cover crop is also cut down and breaking down in my outdoor garden. One last spray down before buds appear and a good feeding to push her through this heavy strip. Love to see worms hanging out on the surface of the soil, breaking down all my top dresses. Day 39 - She's praying to the skies! This plant isn't skipping a beat with vigorous growth! You can see how all those lower sites are now getting adequate lighting! Day 40 - Realized I had stopped adding picture to demonstrate her height. She's a great height! Honestly taller than I had imagined! Nodal spacing is super tight at the top.
