Harvested on week 12 exactly. Was a little worried about bud rot during the early drying phase but it seems it just came out a little less bright green than I am accustomed to as there is no sign of rot after drying has completed and curing started. Don’t have a working scale anymore but my eye scale is legendary and I’d say probably got between a half oz and 3/4 of an oz, but would be shocked if it were over 1 oz. My best guess would be around 18g. Tried a small bit tonight right after I transferred to a jar for curing, nice hashy flavor with some pepper undertones. Smells very fruity in the jar, but definitely can smell the flavor without consuming too. The buzz is pretty nice. Balanced and relaxing but not too sleepy, definitely still functional. Seems it’d be best for lazy afternoons, winding down after a long day, or even laid back social events. Overall very happy with my first grow experience and excited to use what I learned next season. The clips are working great 👍. Even canopy. Verry green. Still not cutting any leaves. Going into flower now so i slowly introduced Bud neutreants while decreasing vege neuts. Still not as tall as I wanted. Hopefully it'll stretch a lot.

Still stacking up grapefruit is not as impressive as gorilla glue and strawberry pie. One of my Vivusun 315 watt CMH ballasts stopped working after only a month’s use. I’m trying to get a replacement but the company is making me jump hoops for warranty. I have had a Topolite 630w CMH for three years and it’s still working great. I cut lights down to 12/12 to see if grapefruit will start to stack up. The smell is definitely getting stronger with the sticky strawberry pie being the strongest.

Désolé mais pendant plusieurs jour je n arrivé plus à charger mon journal ? Bref dernière arrosage avec nutriments ;) on y arrive tous doucement . Autrement j ai eu un petit départ de bud rot sur la melon gum (rien de méchant 2 calices coincé entre 3 immense têtes ;) j ai donc enlever les 2 têtes et désinfecté aux mieux (les 2 têtes n avez rien j ai donc pu les goûter hier soir et j doit dire l effet est vraiment sympa ;)

week one ( day 1-7) went great , i germinated both seed in paper towels and transferred them to big pots . 1 (30 liter pot) !(25 liter pot). after that i got them outside in the sun as much as i could (it was pretty grey and bad weather) while keeping the soil damp with a spraybottle and keeping a sliced bottle over the top to increase humidity. just had to wait for my tent and lights to arive the first week.

Ran 9.5 weeks Whole plant hang dry 17 days Growing wasnt easy, would not recommend to beginner, not heavy eater, but other than that she was a dream to grow, genetics spot on!

Not an overly impressive strain and I would say she was not that hard to grow. If I even grew this one again I would let it go naturally with some LST. Wanted more grape flavours but they don't really come through in the smoke. There's a bit of a sharp fruity smell that's sort of piney with a hint of fuel at the end. The smoke is not too flavourful in my opinion but that just means I didn't grow it well. Super tight nugs so be careful with humidity as stated above. Also she's a bit of a light feeder so be careful with your nutes. As you can see I burnt her tips and over fed her a lot. Not a bad yield though! I've only really smoked the lowers on this one so far so that gave me a bit of a racey high, just slightly racey. I would accredit that to the lowers not being mature enough at chop. The plant is super dense and since I mainlined it the lowers didn't receive enough light. I tried to let the lowers mature more but the plant stopped maturing when I chopped the tops, this caused stress and the plant just shut down basically. Not sure if I would grow Blimburn's GDP again until I grow the real GDP.

I love growing this strain, smells delicious the whole way through. 10/10

01/23/2025 : a bit of yellowing last week but it seems OK now. AH may have eaten everything in its previous pot... Scrog net is already full after 5 days! I just added a bit of calmag and trace elements, autopot and biotabs will do the rest.

Final week update I am trimming the plants as they get ripe leaving them under the lights for a few days before I chop them. My theory is that trimming them makes them think they are being attacked by something and what are the plants defense 🤔 to get sticky and stinky 🤔 I do see a difference after a couple days, some more than others but all of them add terpenes and trichomes ❄️🔥❄️🔥 Thank you all for visiting and following along with me...
