I went on vacation the ladies went crazy. One of them—the left one—is stretching really hard. The other two are more small and bushy. So, let's see what's going on in the next few days. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm a little bit scared because of the height. But when I'm back next week, I can do some work on them to maximize the light on the ladies.

Things are going alright with these girls. One of them is keeping up with the other strains in the tent, while the other two have been consistently pretty small. Not a big deal though, all flowering out now. Seeing some color come through, which is pretty neat! Not going to yield much, but hopefully will like the end product!

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

As we venture into week one of the flowering stage, the living soil within our garden beds has already been enriched with carefully selected amendments, laying a robust foundation for our plants to thrive. Living soil is not a static entity; it's a dynamic, breathing ecosystem that needs as much care and attention as the plants it supports. At this crucial juncture, our primary responsibility is to maintain the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Watering practices continue to play a pivotal role—moisture levels are kept at an optimal level, allowing the soil to dry between watering sessions, thereby preventing saturation and promoting oxygen uptake to the roots. Such measures are not merely about quenching the plants' thirst but also about preserving the intricate web of life that exists within every handful of soil. This web of life has indeed become more intricate with a massive explosion of predator mites that have become an integral part of our soil's community. These tiny but formidable allies are voracious predators of various pests that can threaten our plants. Their increased activity is not just a sign of a healthy ecosystem but also a natural form of pest management that reduces the need for chemical interventions. These mites, along with a host of other microorganisms, play a critical role in nutrient cycling and disease suppression, further enhancing the resilience of the plants during their flowering phase. The very life of the soil is now visibly bustling, indicating a thriving micro-ecosystem that contributes to the health of our plants. Above and beyond these microscopic interactions, the larger creatures in our ecosystem—the worms—have begun their vital work. The 'chop and drop' cover crops and clover that were introduced earlier have now become fodder for these earthworkers. As they consume this organic matter, they are not just feeding themselves but are also processing it into rich castings, a natural fertilizer full of available nutrients for the plants. This activity does not just nourish; it aerates the soil, creating spaces for roots to expand and for air to circulate. The sight of such activity is evidence of a living soil that is not just a growing medium but a thriving ecosystem in its own right. The soil, with all its biodiversity, is an orchestra where every organism, from the tiniest mite to the diligent earthworm, plays a critical part in the symphony of growth that supports our flowering plants. As each day passes, this ecosystem draws closer to perfect harmony, bolstering the plants in their quest to bloom with vitality.

Week 3 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 7 from Seed) The Gelonade girls are entering full flower mode, and both phenos are thriving beautifully. Stretch is nearly complete, pistils are bursting everywhere, and structure is stacking just as expected. Both are now standing proudly at around 80 cm tall and enjoying their rhythm. Growth & Flower Development White hairs crown every top, a sure sign of transition into proper bloom. The stretch has given them elegant structure, spacing out their nodes, and now they are setting the stage for bud building over the next weeks. Pheno #1 is strong, symmetrical, and classic Gelonade – exactly what you’d hope for from this lineage. Pheno #2, though… she’s the unicorn. Her leaf mutation continues to be one of the most fascinating traits I’ve ever seen. The way her leaves open like layered fingers, folding and unfolding in unexpected ways, is pure art. It’s as if nature decided to write a little love poem in her leaves. Different, unique, and unforgettable. She carries her own beauty, a reminder that not everything perfect is uniform. Environmental Conditions Still running a little hot in the room (peaks up to 31–32°C), but airflow and extraction keep them happy. Humidity is stabilizing better now, averaging around 50–60%, and VPD is gradually coming closer to target. The TrolMaster sensors continue to keep me on track with moisture, EC, and conditions, making sure the girls stay balanced. Nutrient Program The recipe remains steady this week: • Aptus Regulator • CalMag Boost • Aptus Top Booster • Plagron Trio (Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation) at 1 ml/L Pellets in the soil are still covering the NPK foundation, so we keep EC around 0.6 with a pH of 6.1. The girls are feeding well, drinking consistently, and showing no signs of stress or deficiencies. Gratitude & Reflections This run has been pure joy so far — both phenos shining in their own way, the environment evolving, and the grow showing its potential. To everyone following along: thank you for the love, the time, and for sharing this passion for the plant. These Gelonades are a reminder that every run brings something new to learn and something beautiful to admire. ⸻ Plant Stats – Week 3 Flower / Week 7 from Seed • Height: ~80 cm • Temperature: 28–32°C • Humidity: 50–60% • VPD: ~1.8–2.0 kPa • EC: 0.6 • pH: 6.1 • Nutrients: Regulator, CalMag Boost, Top Booster, Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation ⸻ ✨ Both phenos are thriving, but this week belongs to Pheno #2 — the unicorn with her extraordinary leaves. She’s a reminder that beauty often lies in the details, in the unexpected. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. 🌸 Week 8 Flower – The Trichome Symphony Begins 🌸 Eternity Grow Cup This week… it’s all about the frost. ❄️ We are diving deep into the universe of trichomes, those magical crystal-like structures that define potency, aroma, and visual beauty. Each pheno this week is presented with its own dedicated video — so everyone can witness the uniqueness and evolution of these genetics firsthand. The photos? Focused close and true on the trichomes and their stalks, the very essence of the plant’s protective and expressive language. 💎 What Are Trichomes? Trichomes are tiny resin glands that cover the surface of cannabis flowers and sugar leaves. They’re responsible for producing and storing cannabinoids (like THC and CBD), terpenes, and flavonoids — the compounds that create the plant’s effects, scents, and flavors. They act as the plant’s natural defense — from UV rays, pests, and environmental stress — and in return, they gift us with beauty, medicine, and art. Why So Many Trichomes Here? This room has turned into a crystal forest thanks to a harmonious mix of tech, care, and nature: 🔹 Spectrum Tunings: Using the TrolMaster system, we’ve dialed in a spectrum rich in reds, far-reds, and UV at precise times to stimulate trichome production. The plants are responding in full. 🔹 Lighting: The under-canopy power of the ICL 300s, combined with the canopy-level intensity of the Model 1s, is creating full-spectrum saturation from top to bottom. Buds are stacked, frosty, and glowing from every angle. 🔹 Nutrition Synergy: The tag-team of Aptus Holland and Plagron has been flawless. The clean base, balanced micro and macro elements, and biostimulants have driven these girls into full expression mode. You can see the nutrition working in every crystal. 🌿 Where Are We Now? We’re likely one week to ten days from harvest, but of course we’ll follow the plants’ signals. They’re still swelling and building — it’s the final stretch, and they’re sprinting. Nerdy Note: Trichomes can be bulbous, capitate-sessile, or capitate-stalked — and in this run, the capitate-stalked ones are standing tall and loaded. Expect a full cannabinoid and terpene profile when it’s time for analysis.( bro talk not lab hihihihi) 🌟 Let’s take a moment to recognize that we’re witnessing the peak of this cycle. This is living art, frozen in time by a camera lens but alive in scent and energy. This Week’s Feeding Program To support this explosive trichome production in Week 8 Flower, we’re feeding with precision and purpose. Every drop counts now, and here’s the clean, efficient mix we’re running: • Aptus Holland – Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • Aptus Holland – System Clean: 0.25 ml/L • Aptus Holland – RO Water Condition: 0.8 ml/L • Aptus Holland – All-In-One Liquid: 1.25 ml/L • Plagron – Green Sensation: 1 ml/L • pH set at 6.2 💧 We’re keeping it clean, clear, and consistent. No extra PK boosters or unnecessary additives. Just smart nutrition, tuned spectrum, and stable conditions to let the plants express themselves naturally. The synergy between Aptus Holland’s Clean Program and Plagron’s Green Sensation is clearly showing in every frosty bud. This week, we’ve fine-tuned the spectrum to push the plants into full resin-production mode. I’ve reduced the white light intensity to 40% while keeping the reds and UVs running at 100%. This shift focuses energy on the wavelengths that directly stimulate secondary metabolite production—especially trichomes. Red light enhances flower development and density, while UV exposure encourages plants to produce protective compounds, like cannabinoids and terpenes, as a natural defense. This balance between lower photosynthetic pressure and high-spectrum stimulation is helping the girls finish strong, frosty, and full of character. 🙏 Massive thanks to all sponsors, followers, friends, and growers in the community. To the ones competing, to the ones just watching — THANK YOU.

Due to issues with my ISP, I can't upload photos or videos right now. Like, I could upload slowly but then I always get errors from th website. Grow is continueing to thrive. Both Ryu and Ken now have proper Buds growing at their tops and internodes are closing up as well. Kens biggest top bud is 3x4 centimeters. So I'm really looking forward to harvest within the next two weeks. I might be forced to harvest but more on that, when time arrives. Update: I managed to upload my photos by some public WiFi. Enjoy friends!
