Well here we are at roughly 5 weeks of flower and I'm very pleased with the progress so far. The buds are stacking up better than I expected and the trichome production is on overdrive. I'm alternating the worm casting concertante every other watering and upped the Humboldt's Secret Calcium + Iron to yes 15 ml's every watering. This particular pheno to which I don't know how many there is has a big appetite for calcium and magnesium even iron. I'm using hydroguard root inoculate to aid in soil microbe activity and nutrient uptake. She seems to love the simplicity of how I'm doing this grow. Super charged Ocean Forest with Happy frog all purpose organic 6-4-5. This is my first Sweet Seeds genetic and if all are strong like the Gorilla Girl F1 I'm sold completely . Had the light way to far away and i also dimed it. It made her stretch a lot. Most of the stretch is under the clay balls things. So what to remember is that i need to hang the lights closer next time. Roots also started to peek out underneath the net.

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. June 19, day 91, the grow has gotten close to harvest time, so I am begining to reduce the nutrient EC for this upcoming week. I will then give the plant 24-48 hours of darkness, along with very low EC water before harvest. I continue to take leaves off as needed for canopy exposure, but I think the buds have pretty much reached the size they are going to get. While the density of the canopy has limited lower development, there are about 50-100 top bud sites which will each be a minimum of a couple grams dried (and some much more), so I am pretty excited to see the final wet a d dry harvest weights. The buds themselves are hard and resinous, glittering nicely when not under the strong LEDs. The smell is sweet, fruity, and floral, mild but pleasant. I have noticed more clear trichomes than I would be used to for the stage in the grow (although plenty of cloudy and amber as well). I have a suspect this might be due to genetics, and contributes to the euphoric high this strain in known for. June 21, day 93, worked to expose more underdeveloped bud during this final ripening period. It's coming along! June 23, day 95, the Euforia is ripening. A lower bud became light bleached when they were suddenly exposed to light, and I am interested to see what happens to it after harvest. Overall the buds are a lovely light purple/pink and are hard with trichomes.

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

Week 12, flowering week 2 Catching up the delay. Accelerated the flowering hormone to trigger a fast blooming, worked well on 80% of the crop. This is where in a Grow Op everyone looks at you like if you were an alien 👽 The boss asking how ... the answer is, this why you are hiring me Boss 😊 Lemon Cream Kush is a stretcher, about x 2.8 in size. The Mega Power Plant is very remarkable with a perfect structure. Bubblegum has 2 different phenotypes, Indica and Sativa. Lights are at maximum high, this is where I wish I could have a full Mars-Hydro lightning equipment in the grow room, the light penetration would be much better. Added some Organic Bloom this week to follow plants needs in the development of the buds. Cutting the RootBooster, roots development is nearly finished at this stage.
