11/14: Harvested all 3 LP's along with a blackberry. It took them a week to dry. Dry weights: plant A - 77g plant B - 64g plant C - 71g Final thoughts: It was easy weed to grow, and grew pretty tall, but a typical sativa....too much space between nodes. The buds didn't swell as much as the other varieties in this grow, but were some really lovely flowers, and they were covered in trichs. Doubt I grow it again. But, that's not to say it isn't great weed. Just not my favorite-

Great to see you and I missed you, I had some time so I created a video to thank our lovely foster company, who were so kind to let us try their light in return for a review. Now, most of you don't know I'm also into making music, mostly Techno but I also love HipHop and Gangster rap, mainly 90's Westcoast, although I'm fond of East Coast and a little dirty South, so this was an excellent time to showcase one of my tracks. If you don't count the about a thousand fungus gnats I have been fighting. I'm manually manifolding and training the girls, into the desired shape, which is a bit hands-on but I see it as a collaboration more than a 50 shades approach to training. You can't just bust out a rope and domination on girls like that. We ease it in there, going to the limit every time, making them stretch and curl underneath the touch of our tender but firm hands. And when they are used to a little groping and fixation, we might bring out a few ropes here and there to spice it up a little. Anywaaaays.... I'm getting carried away here, back to the grow. I had bought some coco-peat, after leaving none for the top layer as I suggested to all of you in the previous weeks of my grow (if you missed it, click one week back for a full recipe (the yellow image) for everyone in Europe) left me with enormous amounts of fungus gnats. Its seems to alleviate the problem already. As it did with my previous grow the Gelato 33 Golden Canopy from Heaven. In the meantime I notice my temperatures going down so Im trying to fix that too. All in all it had been a good week and this Orange Hill Special is promising to become something special! Thanks for visiting again, see you soon!

OK lots of excitement this week. I could stand by and watch no longer something had to be done, but what? Let's turn to the strange leaf problem first. Copper necrotic spots. WTF could this be, it's nothing to do with nutrients or pH that I'm pretty confident. Maybe it's just normal leaf dying. Whatever. I've supplied some photos where you can see a pattern of concentric rings. This tends to make it look more like some sort of mosaic virus, however if that were the case it would be everywhere. It looks like something was spilled on the plant but that did not happen. I don't deem this a problem at all but it's very very puzzling. Anyway after mulling the situation it seemed like it was about time this giant leaves were gone. So all the giagantic huge chunky leaves were removed. I figured whatever they are making there's plenty more healthy leaves to carry on the work. Plus I think it induces some shock to the plant. It will definitely shift hormones around but what effect that has I don't know. It looks like I've done a lot of work on this plant but I haven't really, just trying to see what she wants to do. So all that's happened is the first two branches that come out with the first baby leaves have been removed all other branches have developed normally. Then the four branches from the first two growing nodes have been pinned down to give the plant a bit of space. Edit: I've just pinned the lowest branches back a bit more and removed any fan leaves around the top as there seems to be plenty around.

This week was the girls last, they were lightly watered with zero nutrients and I carefully monitored humidity levels, insuring a clean finish. Overall I am stoked with the results, the smell is exquisite, sweet and floral, and the buds are fairly dense.

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 10; Friday 23rd October: Nutes in with some LST and defoliation again. Diatomaceous Earth going onto the soil tops today to beat this thrips problem.. Sticky traps to catch the live ones. Glad I caught them fairly early as the girls still look ok. Raised my LED slightly today to give the girls a bit more room to grow and tonight I’m making my dehumidifier in a cardboard box solution to get the dehumidifier out of the tent to bring down the temps to a sensible level to deal with these thrips. I had no probs with thrips until the dehumidifier went in and raised the temps too much. So hopefully these small tweaks with get me back on track. Update same day: dehumidifier in a box method built, my handy work is in the pics, will update again tomz with humidity and temps checked to see if this shit worked! 🤞🏼🙏🏼 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 10; Sunday 25th October- Dehumidifier in a box idea was total shit lol but... I found that just rigging up the ducting to the dry air outlet and leaving the rest of dehumidifier in the open rather than in a box and then pumping that into the tent works much better than having the dehumidifier inside the tent. The plants have soooo much more room, fresh air and temps although slightly higher are not as crazy.. After careful inspection, I couldn’t see one thrip today and my sticky traps have lots of little bugs stuck on them 💪🏼🙏🏼... I’m pretty sure I’m not out of the woods yet, so to not disturb the Diatomaceous Earth in the soil bed I’m going to water them via the bottoms of the fabric pots for a few waterings to really ensure I cut those bad boy thrips to shreds 🤞🏼😎 Nutes will be going in too late tonight when I water them via the bottoms for the first time.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 10 - Tuesday 27th Oct Girls looking good and the watering via the bottoms went better than expected.. So the Diatomaceous Earth can still do it’s job. Can’t see any thrips but I know they’re still there but no way near as many as before. Buds are still really small and in some areas look like they are beginning to turn orange already, I hope my LED is not burning them. I don’t think it’s that as some of the lower buds under foliage seem to have the same. Will keep an eye! Happy days 💚🍃🌱🙏🏼

En esta actualización se incluyen 2 semanas ya que por trabajo me fue imposible añadir la semana anterior. El día 15 de Agosto recibió la segunda pulverización de Bacillus Thuringiensis para prevenir el ataque de las orugas. Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. The main lining created a good shape to work with less stress of popcorn nugs at the bottom gettin in the way . Well easier to work with. Will be doing this technique a lot more now. So the tall royal gorilla( second from the left in the back. that, to me , looks like it has horrible genetics or it just couldn't handle the stress of topping and the burn. It's still gunna produce well just. Scrawny. My critical thunder from msnl is shorttttttt love it for an Afghan cross. And the most green. And full. Lots of calyxes are forming finally. I removed the, now clear , male from the tent and I did something...... Well white trash ( no pun intended) . In my eyes. But in a ingenuity kind of way. I got a cheap ass rolling trashcan meant for outdoors. Like 20$. I already had an extra. So I put the male in it and it fit perfectly. Cut off everything from the plant except the top of the two main stalks. It fits perfectly. I put a old light I used to use for seedlings in the top. And threw a light blanket over it. . I have it on the other side of the house. . Check the video. It's actually kinda cool 😂 Also feeding their flowering nutes next week. In SMALL amounts. I did add bud honey. Which does the same as just good molasses but better. This soil has a lot of micros and macros that'll love it. But the rest of the girls are going fine and I'll be starting a new diary for be on the look out 😎

All these have been topped and trimmed just will stay in here for 2-3 weeks while others in flower room finish
