Controlled lighting helps seedlings to develop without stress, encouraging healthy growth and internode spacing. I decided I needed another tent the four plants were extremely cramped in the small tent and it was occupied by some photoperiod blackberry kush plants. Its a good thing I have now moved the autos because my last run with photperiods was marred by my photoperiods hermyiing, these polinated the autos sadly. At least this is now a less likely scenario. I have also increased the light hours to speed my autos on . I think the zkittlez will probably be another month before its finished so its gonna be week13 I reckon before shes done

Oct. 29 - start of week 5 and after a couple of days she’s starting to come around. Since the pinch it was like she started to crumple in on herself so hopefully she’s ready to blow up. Might’ve been too rough on er. Thanks for checking er out!👍 Oct 31 update - busy day, she needed a lot of attention, some LST and oh yeah, water. Let er dry out an extra day and hit her with another 2L. Think I’ll up the Volume this week. Fim paid off and we should run out 4 big colas on this pinch alone. Staked er down to get more light to the stem. Now were talkn😉👍. Nov. 2 update - snipped a fan leaf to try and get the tip underneath some good light. She should make one helluva cola eventually. Plant got a full 1gal. flush with phd & calmag water only. Nov. 3 update - so a busy but important week. The leaf I snipped yesterday has provided all kinds of light to 3 lower growth tips so she’s startn to get er bush on real well. We bent er down and away to the side of the pot a little more😉. This parts lot so of fun, She’s lookn goood👍 Nov. 4 update - she’s really picked up her growth and recovered fully now. The girls loved the rinse. Had to snip her two largest fan leaves cause I found a light deprived family of potential colas underneath👍. HATE to do it but has to happen. Week 6 come’n up and she’s lookn good. Background This one is gonna be fimmed out and defo’d as a comparative to its manifolded kush sister. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). Let's remember, in week 6 one of my king's tart had been broken in 2 because of the tension due to my bad LST. This plant grows much taller than the others. I'm trying to lower his height by doing HST. Currently she does not seem to complain about it. I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. I watered daily until water drained from the pot (to release nutrients from previous waterings) and I take a 3-4 day watering break to let it dry out before resuming a daily watering schedule. -Daytime temperature: 22-26°C -Night temperature: 20-24°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it... It’s about week 8! A few weeks into flower now. So far this is looking like the most successful indoor grow to date, but it is early of course. She’s filling the tent perfectly — flowering exactly at the right time — nice even canopy. These genetics have responded very well to scrogg. I am endlessly impressed by canuk genetics. She’s smelling stronger this week and buds are starting to form. Vertical growth is slowing down — some stretching still.

Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics. Days 35-37 Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing. Day 38-39 She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself. Day 40-42 Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days. Well it was another awesome week for the Kush Fromage!👍Day 49 of Flower and she is putting on some weight. The branches are starting so sag down a little bit😊. Her trichomes are starting to ripen up quite a bit and are about 60-65% cloudy. Looks like she will be done right around the breeders estimated time of ~63 days of Flower and could be harvested a tad bit earlier if wanted, but I am in no rush. I am feeding her the same nutes as last week with the exception of the addition of some unsulphured blackstrap molasses. The smell is starting to change a little bit with a pungent cheese like smell starting to come out Overall just one wicked plant😵 it has it all smell look and serious resin production!! This ones going strong. It was first to sprout and its quickly became one of my favorites. I might feed it some fox farm grow big soon but have been top dressing with earth worm castings. She looks a little hungry but that can be expected when you grow 12 inches in 2 weeks. Check back next week to see how fast she grows. & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!

Week 8 – Stabilization & Transition to Flowering 🌸 This week marked a real turning point: after last week’s heavy intervention, the plant finally regained its balance and clearly showed that it was ready to move forward again. No stress signs, no abnormalities — everything is back to normal. The substrate reset did exactly what it needed to. ⸻ 💧 Light Watering – Pure Water pH 6.2 To let the root zone fully stabilize, you chose the best possible approach: ✔️ only pH-adjusted water at 6.2 ✔️ no nutrients added This allowed the plant to: • maintain a stable root environment • avoid any risk of a new salt buildup • use the remaining nutrients in the substrate • recover natural and progressive nutrient uptake The behavior of the substrate and the post-flush reaction confirm that balance has been fully restored. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Status – Everything Is OK The signals are very positive: ✔️ leaves opening nicely ✔️ naturally strong posture ✔️ healthy, uniform color ✔️ growth reactivated smoothly The plant is operating at full metabolic capacity with no remaining stress. It was clearly ready for the next step. ⸻ 🌸 Switch to Flowering – Smooth Transition With a stable, balanced, and vigorous plant, the transition was made with confidence: 👉 Official switch to 12/12 this week. AAAnd there you have it. A nice experience, my second time making seeds! I harvested the first day of week 15. A lot to say about this experiment. It came out awesome, lots of seeds (more than 100!) Wich I also tested and came out with the exact same phenotype. I added some more pictures of the outcome and of the seeds, cause I don't have much more data about the harvest!
