7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. 10/19: This morning when I opened up the closet I wanted to rearrange a little, but they were so packed in, it was almost impossible. So, I went up in the attic and ran some cables and hooked up my other 200w light in the top section. I moved the 4 smallest plants up there and it created a little bit of desperately needed space in the lower section...but I still doubt very seriously that I'll be able to grow all 15 to completion in there..it's only 14.5 square feet of space!😳 10/20: I foliar fed everybody with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you today. They will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed a whole liter of the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fixed up a 5 gallon batch of nutes and fed everybody about a 1/4 gallon each. Later the same day.... Several of them look very overwatered..and it's mainly the plants in the back in fabric pots that have seen a grow or two. I think my pots are mainly just too close together for airflow to dry the bottoms out well enough. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night. 10/22: Most of them look better this morning, but a few are still droopy, so I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a thousand little holes in the lower part of all the fabric pots in the garden to try and improve oxygen availability to the roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want their roots sitting in muck. 10/23: Several of them are flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get them to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity on several of them, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed them with BoomBoom Spray and gave them about 8oz each of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm they all looked happier. I'll give them a little drink of plain water tomorrow, then start them on flowering nutes the next day. 10/24: Several are starting to stretch now...and all but one are flowering. This morning I fed them another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, and also added some bembe and open sesame to the mix. This afternoon, I foliar fed everybody very thoroughly with some humic/fulvic acid, seaweed extract, yucca extract, and big bloom (for the earthworm castings and minor and trace elements) I repotted the dwarf in a smaller container and gave it to my son. He's a bonsai enthusiast, so it's right up his alley...that's one less plant to deal with! 10/25: This evening I mixed up 5 gallons of pretty much everything except grow big. and gave everybody about 1/4 gallon each. I plan to flush them with sledgehammer on Sunday or Monday and only do foliar feedings like BoomBoom spray and fulvic acid until I resume normal bloom feeding mid-week. Because I've had such a good veg, I'm pretty sure the maximum number of plants I'll be able to fit into the lower section is 13...and maybe only 12. So, that will be my 4 or 5 shortest plants in the area above..in which case, I'll need more light... I think the new UVB light will have to wait until my next grow because I've got so spend a couple hundred bucks on seeds to be able to start another batch right before my current run finishes.😖😞😩😡

Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. Siguen muy bien las plantas, sigo encontrando hojas manchadas por araña roja pero decidí no aplicar nada de químicos, dejaré que las plantas sigan su proceso y trataré de controlar la plaga solo eliminando las hojas donde encuentre arañas o huevos, la plaga no pone en peligro la producción. Sigo aplicando Advance Nutrients 2 veces por semana con 3 litros de agua por planta los martes y viernes, los domingos riego con 1 litro de solo agua a cada planta.

Girls drink less water, so for this week and till the end of flowering new misting timing's Daytime: ON for 50 seconds, followed by 30 minutes OFF.
