Week 18

🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃
This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩.
Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity.
September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars.
Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano)
I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil.
For the moment the flowering continues.
-Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged.
-Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch.
-GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way.
-Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Late flowering, Sativa.

Okay so, dried my harvest and it's been curing for the last couple of weeks. Not to my surprise, this was a relatively low yielding harvest (still). The quality of the cannabis is excellent and already has a really smooth finish. However, in the future I would love to add some additional supplements in the flowering stage to boost her chances of being more fruitful. One thing I realized a little too late into flower, was that I should have added a larger quantity of fishbone meal earlier than I had and I believe that in general the plant could have used a P/K booster (which is what I am looking into for my next grows, along with humic acid). The plant filled in nicely but I would have loved for the internodal stacking to be greater and more dense.

Day 76. Stacking up nicely, the buds are tight together making me anticipate greatness. Happy with the canopy work I have done, two toppings and my first scrog. I'm defoliating nearly every day to aid optimal light distribution. Upping the wattage pretty soon

She’s almost ready! I’m planning a 1–2 week flush before harvest. The buds are looking insane super dense. Can’t wait to take that first snip!😈😈😈😈

11/3 12AM MONDAY. CRITICAL KUSH IS DONE!! I dont want to do the report yet, I never expected SO much paperwork to be a pot head....!!!!

11/5 10AMD ....very injured so cant move well enough to update, pain blood and maybe a 3 4 days to heal, bad one.
11/6 140pm OUCHGODDAMNIT.....OH ANOTHER GREAT GODDAN DAY. ALSO I MADE AIR FILTERS FOR THE TENTS. DID SOME WATERING, THE PLANTS LOOK PPRETTY GOOD.
11/7 11AM HUGE BLOOD THING on neck, very bad...still need to grow the medicine I need to heal....would rather just not ever deal with any of it, soon just. a few more things.

27/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.4PH water with 0,5ml of each: Grow, Bloom and Max, and 1ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, I use about 1/3 of the nutrient dosage on the chart, to achieve about 200/300PPM (500 scale).
01/01/2020 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.4PH water with 0,25ml of Grow, 0,75ml Bloom and 0.5ml Max, and 2ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, mesured about 280PPM (500 scale).

Its been a good week they are smelling pretty strong already. Switched to early bloom feeding. They started to stretch pretty good this week and, were taking up water quicker than i realized so I topped the pots off with some extra soil and started to water heavier they are thirsty.

Off to the races. I couldn’t get them to start taking up nutrients low and behold a temp change of 4 degrees from 73 to 77 switched it up and now they are doing their thing. I topped one, fimmed on and left the last one alone but they will all receive low stress training about 10 days from now and I will then try to get them to about 30” before flipping the switch.

bei meinen Damen wird es immer gemütlicher. Die Mulchschicht sollte von Anfang an drauf aber besser spät als nie.
In der Erde von Sonnenerde ist schon viel los aber Ich gieße hin und wieder mit effektiven Mikroorganismen von Tria Terra um das Bodenleben schneller in Schwung zu bekommen.
Trauermücken gehören zur gesunden Erde irgendwie dazu aber in so einem Setup wollen wir die kleinen Mücken nicht haben. Die Lösung: Gleich von Anfang an mit SF-Nematoden gießen.
Die gibt es im Baumarkt auf Bestellung oder gleich Online suchen.

23 Dec - Evening @ 8PM - Excited! Third grow here we go (whilst simultaneously running my second grow into flower & a third outdoor started)!
24 Dec - a lot of seeds popped already. Will wait until morning to put in soil with a longer/stronger root.
25 Dec - 36hrs from putting seeds in water - all seeds now germinated & planted in moist soil, high perlite % (approx 50% and minimal nutes), temps between 25-28c, on 18hr light cycle, 50% on edge of light strength (see photo) and lightly misted with ph’d but nute free water (will be doing daily) in humidity dome with vents 100% open, good air flow around).
N.B. Mimosa x Orange Punch had fallen out of shell already. Will see if becomes a problem now it’s in the soil. Planted with coldeyns just on soil line with fine soil v v lightly dressed to cover. Decent root so hopefully will be okay.
26 Dec - everything looking okay and misting pots and dome every 12 hrs (AM & PM). Vents mostly - 75% - closed, with fans going in the tent.
27 Dec - signs of life with all seeds still - most just about to pop through soil line (AM), now having popped above soil line (PM). Still misting every 12 hours and photos above just before another misting. Working well. So happy. First grow 25% success rate, second grow 50%, so hoping for a 75%+ this time! Really putting the time and trust in, not overwatering (past mistake) and using humidity not trying to water non existent root system (caring too much)!
28 Dec - tracking nicely! CLONES TAKEN FROM TRIPLE CHEESE AND RUNTZ MUFFIN (rooted by 17 Jan).
29/30 Dec (1am!) - further progress. Wld lyk to see Charlotte’s CBD above soil pls!
30 Dec (PM) - getting there! Choc mint, fat banana & Mimosa x Orange Punch into veg now, with Frisian Duck, Gorilla Zkittlez, SAGE CBD above soil but waiting on seed head to fall off and CBD Charlotte’s Angel to come above soil line. Sunday tomorrow. Might start ‘veg’ on Monday for simplicity and the hope others will be up and away!

Hi everyone!
Sooo…
Looks like those girls slowly are getting back🤭
Slowly increasing water volume,but nothing crazy yet. Instead of watering once a week,now i’m watering 2-3 times.
Doing some topping also.height in flower room is really tight,that means i’m after in lower,bushier plants (well probably we all after that🙄)
I think another week or so,and i will transplant them to final pots and can’t wait to see them flowering!

Into the first day of week 3 and the plants are really growing. The GC is far ahead of the other 2 while those 2 are on their own same pace. Beginning to super lightly LST the bigger GC so the light gets all over it. Been watering with nutes for the last week and the girls have taken kindly to it. I expect to be feeding a full gallon of water per week to each plant. This past week they took .5gal each over the course of 7 days with no signs of stress, deficiencies, etc.

Decided to top auto NL #2... the new growth seemed to be bunched up and hadn’t dropped in 2 days, not sure why. Since i have 2 of the NL this will be a fun experiment to see the difference in topping an auto vs not. Hoping it was the right call as NL#2 is growing super slowly anyway

Haven’t watered since Sunday. Believe I might have gone a little too hard to start the week and their growth slowed. Pots have dried out considerably and plants seem to be healthy with undroppy/twisted fan leaves. Also began germination on a Moby Dick auto in a red cup. Super soil arriving Friday, experimenting on differences between added bottle nutrients vs “feeding the soil” over the course of my first auto grow.

Plants responded very well to 24hr lights for past 2 days. Growing upwards and showing no sign of dropping, yellowing leaves, etc. NL 2 recovered very well from topping and now is producing 2 main colas instead of 1 like the other 2 plants. LST GC and NL1 to expose some undergrowth to light. Trying to yield as much as possible from this grow setup. Haven’t watered much, soil still most and nutrient rich

13th week. If I am not wrong I started 12/12 light schedule with 36 hours darkness before at beggining of the week 7, so it is the 7th week of flowering.... or 6th ?😅 Well buds are getting thicker, and just checked the trichomes now they are more matured but still need I think at least 3 weeks to be done properly. When I see the milky trichomes, I will start flushing. Wednesday: End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm like before. Buds are thicker smelly and a lot of resin. It is totally coated with THC, and sticks my finger together. This is the last day I fertilized the plant, from tomorrow I will start flushing. I will give maximum 2 more weeks to be done. I also removed some more fan leaves (those are getting yellow) so I will make some tea. I really love the citrus taste and the smell of this plant.
