1/16 - got the first topping done for the mainline. Cleaned up the rest of the shoots below. Excited to do a proper mainline for the first time!! Going for 8 tops 1/21 - pretty sure I overfed her! She will be getting phed water next feeding. She's coming along though! I may not cut her for another week to let her fully recover and start thriving again 1/23 - not topping her just yet, she is still developing that 3rd node on the 2 mains so I will shop her in a few days and clean up some of the lower stuff. Knuckles looking thick!

Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. Que pasa familia, traemos nuevo diario, en primer lugar dar las gracias a Nara hydro que sin ellos esto no es posible. Os enseño la primera semana de esta farm cheese de genofarm, una semilla con más de 3 años de conservación, tuvo un germinado en 48 horas sin problemas aparentes. La introducimos a 0,5 cms en medio del sustrato, una maceta pequeña unas semanas mientras Coje fuerza. Las vamos a crecer esta vez bajo un led TS-600 de la marca Mars hydro. . no olvidéis que comprando con el código an420 en mars-hydro.com obtendréis un pequeño descuento en cualquiera de sus productos. . Dropped the 3 seeds in water bath with a little HESI rooting mix, little mycorrhizae. On a heat mat, covered for complete darkness. 24 Hr soak - then seeds moved into own Seed Germinator - Karl’s Bubatz Popper 😂 24 hrs after 22 degrees and 90-95% humidity seeds developed long enough roots to hit the soil. To avoid any chance of damage the cotton pads hit the soil too.

Only issue was I didn't grow enough!

Week 1 Day 1 - Clones #1 and #2 are looking alright, not super strong and slight nutrient deficiency issues, but OK. Will just observe for now. - These clones are currently under a very mild CFL light (20 cm away and about 200 ppfd measured roughly by phone app - Tent Buddy.) - Clone #3 still need to be covered to maintain moisture. Yesterday I un-cupped the clone and it wilted a lot. This morning it looks better again after a night of rest under the plastic cup. - I've checked the run off and these clone's pH are so low, while TDS are so high (pH 5.7 and TDS 800pm). This evening, I flushed them with pH 6.5 water and brought the runoff to about pH 6.0 and 350 ppm) Week 1 Day 2 - Just foliage spray with mild CalMag this morning. Soil is still moist, so no watering. Week 1 Day 3 - Just minor watering today. Glad to see the clones are doing well as they are growing a bit everyday. Will transfer them to 3 gallon airpots with new soil mix soon. Week 1 Day 4 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Add 5ml of 250 ppm of balanced NPK nutrients AN B52 for each plant. Week 1 Day 5 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Transfer them to 3 gallon airpots. Week 1 Day 6 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Skip watering. The clones responded OK to the new airpots. Week 1 Day 7 - TBA

With this grow coming to an end I'm very satisfied, I've just cut the last girl down and they are hanging to dry now. The girls showed good vigor through out the whole grow feeling pretty comfortable in the organic soil mix I've made at the start. Later in flower I started giving the whole Plagron line from time to time to give them that little bit extra power throughout their flower cycle. I've took the two most different (looking) phenos I got and try to make some nice pictures, but in week 15 you can find the photo session I did with the nicest pheno in my eyes.

My Soaptini plant is still on the smaller side, but it's finally starting to take off. I think it's going to stay pretty short and stocky, which will be interesting to see. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Everything has been going well , the growth has not stopped and the leaves are nice and green . I raised the power from 40% to 50%. When I did that the leaves on the gsc started curling upwards a little bit so I elevated my lights from 2.5 ft to 3ft . and will continue to raise the power gradually every week until at the max 900 watts . I have been watering them every time they are dry and keeping a close eye on any changes . So far so good !

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur neunten Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Heute dann doch mal wieder an einem Montag :). Ich habe es nach dem Mary-Jane-Wachenden leider noch nicht nach Hause geschafft. Allerdings habe ich paar Bilder vorproduziert, um hier nicht mit leeren Händen aufzutauchen. Ich bin die letzte Woche ein wenig durch die heimischen Wälder flaniert und habe den ein oder anderen Schatz bergen können. Aber alles der Reihe nach … Da ich messbedingt nicht bei den Pflanzen sein konnte und das mit dem Gießdienst an Dritte abgeben mal so, mal so funktioniert. Dachte ich mir, man muss der Verdunstung und der damit einhergehenden Trockenheit etwas entgegensetzen. Ich habe mich als kurz und knapp für eine Mulchschicht entschieden. Diese schützt nicht nur vor Austrocknung, sondern macht ebenso die obere Erdschicht für die Durchwurzelung brauchbar. Sie ist obendrein ein weiterer Schritt zu einem gesunden Bodennahrungsnetzwerk. Dieses wird durch die in dem auf dem Grünschnitt/Waldlaub enthaltenen Mikroorganismen (Protozonen, Wimperntierchen), welche durch das Belüften im Tank nochmals gefördert werden, noch einmal gestärkt. Last but not least führt der Mulch dazu, dass Schadorganismen das Einfallen in die obere Erdschicht erschwert wird. Aber was ist drin? Ähnlich wie schon beim Komposttee wird bakterienreiches organisches Material in einen Tank mit vorzugsweise Regenwasser gegeben und anschließend über einen gewissen Zeitraum belüftet (siehe Woche 5). Der wohl größte Unterschied zum Komposttee ist, dass wir eher auf das Material und nicht auf die Flüssigkeit aus sind. Dieses besteht zu ca. 90 % aus Grünschnitt (in meinem Fall eine Biokleintiermischung) und zu ca. 10 % aus Laub, welches ich in einem wenig bis gar nicht bewanderten Waldstück gesammelt habe. Die richtige Platzwahl: Bei der Platzwahl war mir wichtig, einen möglichst naturbelassenen Teil des Waldes auszusuchen, um eine Kontaminierung von bspw. Müll oder Hundeurin zu vermeiden. Ebenso habe ich nach Material Ausschau gehalten, welches schon Kontakt mit einem Pilzmyzel und dem ein oder anderen Regenwurm aufwies. Beides sind Indikatoren für ein gesundes Bodenleben. Zum Schluss … Nun einfach alles in einen großen Tank, Wasser drauf und Pumpe an. Belüftet wurde das Ganze für drei Tage. Danach das Material entfernen und luftig um die Pflanzen aus Ringen (leicht in den Boden einarbeiten). Um mit so wenig Waste wie möglich zu arbeiten, habe ich dann noch das Wasser gegossen. Dieses ist sehr reich an Mikroorganismen. Aber nun (besser spät als nie) noch ein paar Credits: Und zwar an Flo von Florganics, von dem ich das meiste Wissen um den Komposttee, die Erdmischung sowie auch das Mulchen bezogen habe. All die genannten Themen sind nochmal deutlich detaillierter auf seinem Yt-Kanal (Florganics) zu finden. Noch ein kurzes Wort zu den Damen: Soweit sehen alle sehr saftig und grün aus. Mit dem Toppen warte ich noch, bis ich wieder da bin. Alles in allem sollte am Ende doch ein wenig herauskommen (im Optimalfall 50 g/Person). Das war’s für diese Woche. Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?
