Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

White widow has been doing better, but has not fully pulled out of her issues. She is doing a lot better in the overall. 5/4 I stupidly watered everything this morning. They were pretty much perfect weight for transplant......then I watered them. Oh well. If that's the worst mistake I make I'll be ecstatic. Went back over and found my 1 gal and 2 of those wierd slanty airports that tapers and holds like a gallon and a half and washed them. I mixed up 12 gallons of soil in a garbage bag and mixed it thoroughly with my gloved hands. It's mixed good. Looking at my plants in sadness thinking, "today could've been the day" and noticed a Special Kush of average size I didn't water that weighed in the 220's. I was happy. I filled the pit arpund a cup before removing it leaving the perfect hole. Mykos and water were poured in. Plant came out of the cup REALLY easy. Suprisingly easy. This wasn't totally dry. I was amazed it came out so easy so I kinda rolled it around looking at the roots. I started lowering it in the hole and I felt something break away but it webt DIRECTLY into the hole made for it. I tucked some soil around it but it was pretty tight from packing it around the empty cup. Didn't take a picture but the plant is fine. That was an average size plant too. So I may have to give some of the strains I popped later a little longer before I transplant. After everything's been transplanted I'll need to change lighting again. I think I'll open the window and use the hps and the l.e.d on the days and nights cThat's these girls won't be hardening off. I so wanna go plant those others but my intuition tells me to wait until morning and it's been serving me well. A couple can stay in cups longer. Not much longer but still. 5/5 Transplanted everything but two this morning into 1 gals with 1/2 happy frog half ocean forest. Mykos and water used during transplant. Found put the l.e.d was on for 24hrs for a while. I made sure the timer switch was ON but it was a different cord plugged in. Oh well. All transplants went perfect. I'm picking up an adapter for the outlet so I can plug the power strip into the timer and only use one timer. I had to hang the 150watt hps back up with the 1,000 watt equivelant 105 true watts. I hope this lighting setup works. Chemdog #4 and One MK Ultra will be transplanted later today or later in the morning. I also opened the shade to the south facing window. Shits getting real. EDÌT: I FINISHED TRANSPLANTING THE LAST TWO PLANTS AND PICKED UP THE ADAPTER SO I COULD HANG THE HPS NEXT TO THE L.E.D. THEY WERE FIBE WHILE I WAS GONE. EASIEST TRANSPLANTS EVER. THEY ALL LOOKED PERKY AND HAPPY SIX OR SEVEN HOURS POST TRANSPLANT. I OPENED THE CURTAIN TO (SOUTH FACING WINDOW) BUT I MADE SURE THE PLANTS WEREN'T IN THE DIRECT LIGHT. EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD PROBABLY BE FINE. LAST TIME I HAD SEEDLING IN DIRECT LIGHT. I'LL PLAY IT BY EAR BUT IM HAPPY. EDIT 2. Went back over to meditate by the stream and do my qigong. It's 75 and BEAUTIFUL today. The girls will be going out for a few hours on days like this. Anyway when I went in I was surprised to see everything looking nice and happy with praying leaves. Nothing is in direct sunlight but damn that window let's in a lot of light. 5/6 Girls LOVED the transplant! They seem to be all happy. No stress. Easiest transplant I've done. Leaves are praying upwards so I think the lights are approx tje right distance. They'll be going outside soon to harden off. It's been in the 70s but it's rainy now. I'll play it by ear according to weather. I'll continue to monitor lighting and I may lower the hps. 5/7 The soil was super dry when I went over this morning. Everything looked awesome though. I used about a half gallon watering. I don't want to water to run off. I want to keep the nutes IN the soil. It's also easier to fix an undet watered plant than an over watered one. It came out to about a half gaterade bottle on the biggest and half that on the smallest. I'll gradually increase water after I monitor the response. The water sat on the soil for quit a while so they definitely needed it. Looking good so far. 5/8 Soil lookeddry this morning. I think I'm going to up the water. Last time I dod seeds I gave like a pink. Some plants still had a little dampness where I watered that I could see. Others looked dry but happy. I gave the REAL dry bigger ones a small circle around the rootball. Just in case. I'm thinking of lowering the hps slightly so it's at least level with tje L.E.D. That window being open gives tons of light. If u moved them slightly left they'd get DIRECT sun most of the time. I'll be bringing them outside soon to start hardening them off. EDIT: WENT TO CHECK THE GIRLS AT 5 TO MAKE SURE THEY WERENT DRIED OUT. THESE GIRLS ARENT JUST GETTING BIGGER BY THE DAY THEYRE LOOKING BIGGER FROM MORNING TO NIGHT! ITS BEEN RAINING LIKE CRAZY BUT WE WILL HAVE GREAT WEATHER NEXT WEEK AND I'LL BE BRINGING THEM OUTSIDE. I'M SUPER HAPPY WITH GROWTH SO FAR. ILL PROBABLY HST (TOP/FIM) AT THE NEXT NODE. I WANT THEM TO SETTLE IN NICELY BEFORE STRESSING THEM. 5/9 I may have stupidly uploaded doubles of pictures from today. Soil LOOKED real dry. I gave the plants their first real watering. I still went light. Almost a gallon with all plants. I know many say I should be watering to runoff but I want to keep the nutes in the soul as long as I can I don't want to overwater. I always start out careful. Once they show they xan tolerate it I'll increase water next time. This weekend it will be raining but after that we are getting some real good weather and I'll he taking the girls out to begin hardening off. I also need to take a look and top/FIM the plants now that they are settled. Also need to wash grow bags and sanitize outside. 5/10 It's pouring out. Horrible night and morning but this is about cannabis. After the watering ALL the plants shot up in size! Substantially. Leaves are over the sides of containers. I think I'm somewhere close with the watering schedule. I may bring the hps light down a little. I also NEED to start HST. I need to FIM and/or top these girls. Unfortunately I've been dealing with medical problems of my wife so I haven't got to it. If I get some sleep I may do something this morning or in the afternoon.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Although the seed description said 10 to 11 weeks, I going to cut these girls down at 10 weeks. I need the room to grow and flower some Mac and Crack that's already growing.. Getting close to harvest I'll start flushing, But I'll give them 1 more feeding and then nothing but water till the end. I get much better taste and the buds smoke better if I flush and get the chemicals out of the soil before harvest. Well, that's the end of the Freak Bros. book # 10... I think there are 3 or 4 more books left in that series. I'll show them in future diaries. My other diaries have the old underground comic book, Weirdo by Robert Crumb if you want to check them out to see. The buds are really getting solid now and some are getting heavy and heading for the floor. Good times... Getting some great smells now. Musk is the most common. But some, smell of Citrus with Musk under tones. The smell is overpowering my carbon filter. I can smell these plants out by the street if the wind is blowing that way. Pure Lemon Skunk smell by the street. Nice. Getting near the end of their lives now and there are more yellow leaves as the plants pull what they need from the big fan leaves before turning the leaves brown. Some plants have sticky resin and some have slippery resin. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Last week wen smooth as it is supposed to go, girls are loving the conditions so its time to start feedings, for this run I’m using all in one pallets as food and just watering with Regulator ( a must in my water) and some microbiological help and iff and wen needed, only them i will complement extra N, P or K as needed. The color was looking a little light so I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp and gave them a little calmag. The biggest challenge this week was not topping the plants. Letting them grow without topping isn't my style. I chose not to because these girls are going to be competing for light and space with some monsters soon. I will probably have to lift them up to get them even with the bigger plants. I expect them to start flowering in a week or so since they are on 12 12 lighting.

Las plantas ya se ven mejor, han crecido bastante bien, aunque la Runtz#1 parece ir peor

1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 Both "A" and "B" put on an inch overnight. Now that the soooperstunted mutant runt is acting like a normal plant, so henceforth I'll refer to her as "C." 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. I'll go with half-strength veg and half-strength bloom for a week, then go with full strength bloom nutrients until I start flushing them in 6-8 weeks. 1/18: I installed the second far-red flowering initiator today and got all my timers configured for flowering: ========================================= timer#1 - power strip with qb's and red boosters 10:00am -12:00am timer#2 - (dual/independent setting) sideA- 3-way cube with uva bars 10am - 3pm 7pm - 11pm sideB- flowerpower uvb 1pm - 1:15pm 4pm - 4:15pm 7pm - 7:15pm 11pm - 11:15pm timer#3 - far red pucks 11:00pm - 12:15am timer#4 - sub-canopy tube 10am - 1pm 3pm - 6pm 8pm - 11pm ======================================== I also did some testing on the timers and sealed myself into the closet to check for any light leaks. All good.👌 1/19: Tonight is their first long night. It's ON!👍 I moved #3 into the tent with my DWC rig to veg a little longer. 1/20: I watered them today with about a half gallon each. I'm seeing calcium and magnesium deficiences here and there, so added some boomerang and heavy cal-mag-Fe along with liquid molasses, humic acid, and endoboost myco. I also foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. #3 is still vegging in my SCROG tent with the #8 FFT DWC plant. She's coming along, but still not ready for prime time.. That's it for week 4-

Around 30 days or close to it. Coming along nice. Turned down the light a bit in attempt to cool the tent and induce a taller stretch. 🤷

10/08: i just switched the lights over to 12/12. I am pleased enough with how the grow phase has gone, though i made some mistakes, and i am frustrated with how significantly different these phenos have been in their grow patterns. The canopy isnt great, and two pf the plants are significantly taller than the others. And i simply was not able to train them the same. I took 3 cuttings of each and am hoping to propagate them and keep a mother of my favorite of the 4 plants, assuming any of them actually end up with color. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks as buds start to grow in. Fingers crossed for purple.
