All good. After 2 weeks of 12/12 girls showing nice bloom. I still train and defoliate lightly. After this week I will do stronger defoliation and let them bulk up.

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

The grow is going great for my first time however I have made a lot of mistakes up to this point but the Gurlz are still thriving.

Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. She’s still stretching! This week I removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, and added B-52 and Bud Factor X (never tried this one before). Since the princess loves this 2ml/L dosage for NPK nutes, I’ll not be touching that for the moment. That seems to be the optimal dosage for a sativa like this. Very nice!

Last week of feed done and only a flush to come , Boxing Day will be renamed trim jail day in this house . We’ve had 35c ambient temps to deal with and FB handled it well , she smokes up real nice this one and there’s a heap of it . Good times . Flush this coming week and she’s done .

Day 10: The LED I ordered should have been here a few days ago and I still don't have it which means for the past few days she has been sitting on the windowsill trying to find the source of light while growing really tall and spindly. Sad times! Day 13: Today I have been out and bought a nice big 6 litre pot for her to spend the rest of her life in. I have transplanted her in and she seems pretty happy. Day 14: Today my LED light finally arrived in the post! I feel like time has been wasted now but I've still re-potted her into a 6 litre pot filled with already watered soil and put her in my wardrobe until my tent turns up.

1/31/2019 This is one of my 4 clone mom's from my original star cookies grow, just Repotted from four inch almost root bound pot, added plant success 3-1-2 with Myco and tied down branches to form a sort of manifold. Gonna try only 4-5 tops, and more micro- clones (small) For future, people love this stuff perfect 50/50/ hybrid IMO😎 Now I have to beat my last harvest of 40 grams (dried and cured). But I have a bench Mark now to go by , and know my peak harvest date for my preference. Please like and follow 👍 I GOT THIS!🙏

KK has many white hairs on bud sites she is filling in and bulking up. pH numbers still higher so keeping an eye on the amount of base nutes to minimize lockouts. Leaf color is doing good and she is on her way. When the medium is in the correct range she is swelling and looking happy. She has been good with heavier feedings but she is also outwardly happier when the pot is on the dry side. More oxygen around the roots is my assumption. She is a beautiful little plant and is bushy.....trimming will take a little bit of work but its all good......not bending over her top is giving her a nice shape. Lots of leaves😀 She tight nodal spacing and is certainly growing as a little bush. Great strain for those concern about height restrictions!!! Note: I have running with the Green Plant line for nutes and I am very happy........I also have some Advanced Nutrients bottles that have not been used so I am fitting them in as it seems appropriate. I really like Piranha, Voodoo, Tarantula, Sensyzme, and Overdrive......don't see me stopping having those bottles around garden. Little more detail.......... May 30/20 - Day 50 - 4L feed with Sensyzime @ 1.5ml/L = 315ppm and 4.4pH - runoff in the pot before feeding was 7.1pH. - runoff after feed was 5.8. - leaves are an okay color, not too dark, and she is doing well. - bud sites getting larger. May 31/20 - Day 51 - 4L heavier feed: CalMag & Rezin & Lwt @ 1ml/L, Rhino @ 1.5ml/L, Vita & Kelp @ 2ml/L, Massiv @ 3ml/L = 700ppm - fair bit of runoff, not checked. - good growth overnight......happy getting their medium down to 5.8 yesterday. - This girl seems happier when her pot is on the lighter side. June 1/20 - Day 52 - 3L feed with Massive @ 2ml and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 1300ppm, pH 4.4 - Pulled a few leaves.....take more on weekend. - She is wide but not going to be too tall......under 24" idea I suspect. - Bud sites are a medium size and her hairs are white but not huge. June 2/20 - Day 53 - 2.5L feed: Terp & Massive @ 3ml/L, Vitathrive @ 2ml/L, Rezin & LWt & Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L = 1300ppm 4.6pH. - she is doing well......buds continue to get bigger. - still don't know what the hell with the pH? June 3/20 - Day 54 - 2L feed: Sensyzime @ 2ml/L = 315ppm and pH to 4.9 - she has reacted well to take some of leaves and her branches are more defined all the time. - just gave her some enzymes today to keep the roots clean of the salts. - raised her up more in the tent to get closer to light. Set her on another riser. June 4/20 - Day 55 - dry out day - her leaves are growing back quickly and she is appearing happy. - she has reacted well to the increased light intensity!! June 5/20 - Day 56 - 3L feed: AN Big Bud & Vitathrive & Rezin @ 2ml/L, Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L - 1050ppm and 4.4pH going in. - no run off from the girls......they are eating!! - crazy.......4.4pH going in and she loves it!! - took more leaves to expose some more sites. - She is firming up well. Not rushing to take more leaves. That will wrap up week number 8 already! The girls are fighting a few issues but overall they are performing well. Killer Kush plants would fill in a 4 x 4 nicely and create a great canopy with 6 plants. As always with the girls I have grown.......@Sweet_Seeds has selected nice characteristics for this strain!! 👍💪

Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.
