Finishing off the first week of flowering and watching the buds grow :) All strains seem to be happy with with 1L water with 12ml nutes 25/75 veg/bloom each, every other day. Missed the defoliating deadline in veg mode but have done some very light defoliation this week, I should do more I know and will once flowering is a bit more established. A bit more LST, again on the careful side. The next grow will get the full treatment :) Of course things were going too well, a couple of hours ago while I was working on climate stabilization contra running costs (I got my first power bill since grow start) I noticed 100's of very small ants all carrying eggs exiting the base of my Gorilla Glue's airpot. I had been trying to work out why she in general seemed a bit laggy. Now I might have the reason, grabbed the Neem as 1st defense and gave what I could see a good spray. For those that I couldn't see and were probably munching on the root system and tunneling through the medium I added 4 tablespoons of fresh coffee grounds and 6ml of Wood Vinegar (pyroligneous acid) to 1L water and gave the Glue a soaking. This all happened just before lights out so now hopefully by lights on the ants will be gone and the Glue will start to perk up. Yesterday I flipped the switches on the LEDS to include deep and IR light to the spectrum. All in all a good week I think, any tips and advice always welcome :) *Update Gorilla Glue is looking much better 12h after the treatment for the ant infestation. Coffee grounds and wood vinegar, natural, safe, effective and cheap as well. I have Cinnamon as well now, so I'm well prepared for any future ant invasions :)

Hello,,, fin de semaine 10, semaine 2 de floraison. Les plantes se portent très bien. Elles ont fait un beau stretch depuis le passage en 12/12. Presque 40cm!! Un début de buds commence à se former. Les pistils blanc apparaissent doucement. Je vais attendre la fin du stretch pour refaire une défoliation, Parceque la canopé est vraiment très très dense. Ce qui améliorera la pénétration lumineuse et qui aura aussi pour effet de faire baisser l’humidité, que j’ai du mal à faire chuter en dessous des 55% pour le moment. J’ai aussi augmenté mon ec à 1.7 pour bien les nourrir, ce qui pour le moment semble leur convenir. Pour l’arrosage, je suis toujours à un arrosage par jour. Voilà pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

So I had to run out and get cal mag this grow because as you can see they needed it. I would have bought it sooner but my kids come before me and my grow room and just couldn't afford it at the time luckily this flower time is a longer time for this strain and needs to run almost 11 weeks gonna depend on when they tell me there ready but but late then never I hope and I will make sure to flush properly at the end. Overall happy with everything else so far and have a lot to learn still. I won't complain for my first grow ever. Excited about my other grow tho.

Hello friends, another week behind me. All in all, everything is going great, I have a light output of 300 watts and for that number of watts it already looks magnificent! At the Lemon tree and runtz muffin have formed in the last few days many trichome is also already a strong smell to perceive the thinning with biobizz grow was a unique thing and give the plants a nice boost for 2-3 weeks. Today I noticed something, when I saw to the tent was light on although it was dunekelfasse, somehow I got to the timer:/ it’s about 2 hours before it actually started, I turned it off again to restore the rhythm quickly, I hope I don’t have to expect big problems because so far everything was going great. What I also notice more and more that the buds have the right weight!! I tried at the runtz to take a photo where you see all the buds above, but no chance the leaf roof is too dense but still well lit, it’s just amazing how many flowers are forming there!!!!!!That’s it for this week and I wish you good smoke TM️ Hallo Freunde, wieder 1 Woche mehr hinter mir. Was ich auch zunehmend bemerke das die Buds richtig an Gewicht haben!! Das war es für diese Woche und ich wünsche guten Rauch.

North Thunderfuck Auto is a powerful strain, I am very happy that I had two plants so that I will be able to enjoy it even longer. Here is a quick overview of this cycle. 21/06/2022 - planting 14/09/2022 - harvest 3 weeks of vegetation 8 weeks of flowering 15 days of drying 106 g. total yield 2 North Thunderfuck Auto plants After harvesting, the plants were dried for 15 days, after which I trimmed the flowers and put them in jars to ripen. Another great week. She stacked up her buds and should be getting the chop in the coming days. The frost on her is amazing. I also sampled a test nug and just dam. It's some quality bud lol.

***UPDATE*** ITS CHOPPIN DAY!! Late in day 87 I was going for macros. Made the decision while seeing MANY yellow trichomes that Wedding Glue from FastBuds is DONE! Attaching pics to the beginning of the weeks uploads. She sure turned out pretty asf didn't she? Lights out occurs in like 30min, and I'm going to work through the dark period stripping the large fans off. Utilizing my green Christmas lights hung up above lol. May turn light on low for a quick pic before chopping/hanging. Next update will be harvest! 2 Girls 1 Cup week 12? Hopefully the finish is this week... My my my how WG has fattened up the last 2 weeks. Trying to get some good macros since it's too hard to hold the scope to my phone and focus everything. Probably better for the existing trics too since they're not being touched. Day 84- these trics are taking their sweet time to ripen. Was considering picking up some GHE Ripen to speed the process up.. especially because a local shop is closing and everything is 40% off. Let's keep it simple this run. I'll get some additives for the next grow to enhance GHE's perfected formulas of macro/micros in the Flora series. An update on the "sample" I clipped from WG the other day. It's not dried/cured proper. Actually been sitting in a brown bag with the outlet of the tent blowing on it lol. Can taste some vanilla in it through the chlorophyll and shit still in the flowers. VERY heady effect that hits me like a friggin wave. Creativity and energy uplifted for sure. well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

Was growing great till I got root rot in flowering. By then it was too late and lost most of her potential. Just harvested her. Learned more during this grow about hydro. I still got a ways to go. The New Level Hydro bucket works great. Thank you Spider Farmer, New Level Hydro, and AMS. Once I get the bud processed I will be back for smoke report. Hello This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Getting her top, bigger, branches spread out, under the bottom rung of the cage. And I'll bring the smaller bottom branches up through the middle. It will work out good. The plant is doing good, but the leaves are so big, I might have to remove some so the light can get in to the smaller ones. I'm watering with 3/4 strength nutrient now. Dec. 13 - start of week 11 and all's well into the flip to flower. Clipped 'er out real good twice but there's no stopping these girls. Probably looking at some serious pruning over the next 2 weeks. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!
