I've been doing some light defoliation where leaves were overshadowing other shoots. She's showing a clear preference for a pH below 6. Anytime it creeps above that, the plant begins to experience nutrient lockout. I'm keeping a close eye on this and will adjust the pH as necessary. Right then 7 weeks of flower complete. I'll dive right in to the juicy bits as this week has been predominantly about deciding weather to chop or keep one of my girls going. In the end I chose to do both! As the photos and videos show the plant wasn't recovering so I checked the trichomes and it was actually pretty ripe. A few Amber's on the upper buds. Lowers still undeveloped so I decided to take the biggest and leave the smallest for another week or while ever the plant is healthy. I estimate I've taken around 7oz once dry. Depending how they swell up I'm hoping for a further 5oz of solid bag worthy nugs. Looking nice and frosty, smell is that typical sweet haze with some sour diesel/fruit kick in there. You can see how the photos progress my hands getting covered in resin. Got to give my other 3 some love as they are getting healthier and fatter. I'm thinking another week on one of them and 2 on the others. I'll more than likely stagger the harvest like tonight if it proves worth while. I will update mid week.

23.2.25: I watered with approximately 1.5 ltrs per plant. I mix 6.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. This time, I only added Ecothrive Biosys to the water because I have just top dressed the soil. Adding anything extra right now would probably be overkill and result in toxicity from too many available nutrients. I defoliated minimally mostly Do-sì-dos, Watermelon, and Pink Mist. Due to the scrog net, it's about all I can reach 😅 I've moved the plants to increase space for Gorilla Cookies 🍪 and Bubble

I think the nutritional value of ready-made water is low and its not enough for Ca or something like that

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Due to problems with autoflower genetics and refusing to flower. I am pleased with final result. I knew my yield would take a hit by using 3 gallon pots. Just was not planning for these plants to take damn 100 days. Roots were coming thru bottom of bags. Not good. But happy results and beautiful purple nugs. See what the cure does. Edit/ update: with few days of curing smell and taste have dramatically improved. There is basically no woody taste or smell, just grapey and sour with a hint of spicy. I change my strain score to 9/10. Due to not being able to update after 1 hr of original post. The only reason I give a 9 is because of Flowering problem. Update: week of curing smooth as butter and fruity and flowery flavor mellow draw with a little kick no harshness at all. Pleseant take.

Englisch Week 3 is coming to an end and the ladies are growing magnificently. The only real outlier is Gelato #4, I don't know whether it was too stressed because of the repotting or why it isn't growing as fast as the others. When fertilizing, I continue to follow the feeding chart and Athena's hand watering strategy. The plants are accepting the very high dose of fertilizer wonderfully, which is somewhat to my astonishment, as I am not used to running these high EC levels from the start. Now that my Par Meter has finally arrived, I can keep a better eye on the light levels, which are currently at 500u/mol. Deutsch Woche 3 neigt sich dem Ende zu und die Ladies wachsen prächtig. Den einzigen richtigen Ausreißer macht die Gelato #4, ich weiß nicht ob sie wegen des Umtopfens zu viel Stress hatte, oder woran es liegt, dass sie nicht so schnell wie die anderen 4 wächst. Beim Düngen halte ich mich weiterhin an das feeding chart und die hand watering strategy von Athena. Die Pflanzen nehmen die doch sehr hohe Dosis Dünger wunderbar an, was etwas zu meinem Erstaunen ist, da ich es nicht gewohnt bin diese hohen EC Werte von Anfang an zu fahren.
