June 9, 2024 Day 50 This week we upgrade the nutrient schedule and adjust the DLI. The environment will continue to be a mess as I have no control over it. Shame that. Sour Diesel A is light. She's taking in around the same amount of water as everyone else, but her container is light. She got a full gallon of the new nutrients. Hopefully she starts taking in some weight. If not, I may have to top feed her a half gallon dose of Recharge. She's around 23" tall now. Sour Diesel B is officially the shortest plant of the group. Who knew. Lol. She got a riser to bring her up to the rest of the canopy. She's 21" tall. Sour Diesel C is the tallest of the bunch. She is a total of 26.5" tall and I feel like she still has a way to go. I think we have our winner. Maybe. She has immature buds, so I can't tell how big they will get, but B has the fattest buds by far. Sour Diesel D is looks great! She's around 24" tall now. Plenty of space for the buds to grow. And grow they will. The stacking is looking fantastic. She definitely won't be needing any top feeding for the rest of the run. The light was raised back up to 24" and the power was increased from 70% to 80%. The DLI is now roughly around 45 mol/m²/d. As for nutrients, I've increased all the doses up to 3 ml/gal. I've also added B-52, Tasty Terpenes, Silica Blast and Bud Factor X. This should definitely help with bud production and overall health of the plants. The environment remains a horrible mess. I don't know what to do. Still don't know and it doesn't seem to be improving. The humidity is at 62% and the temp is at 77°. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 60.2% VPD: 1.16 kPa June 10, 2024 I did some moving around today. It made more sense. Not much else for the day though. Sour Diesel A looks great. She has stacks and stacks. I'm starting to think I should have used the base nutrients from Advanced Nutrients from the start of Veg. I feel like I would have gotten a lot more side branching. Alas. None of them did that. Strange. I wonder if it's just the strain? Sour Diesel B is covered in buds. Huge, fat buds with long fat pistils. I can tell she will have some insane nugs. Can't wait. I may have to use another riser for her though, she is significantly shorter than C. In fact, I will have to use a riser for all 3 plants with the extra under B. I really want a nice level canopy, so plants don't have such different light intensity. Sour Diesel C was moved to the back left across from where she was. It was time. She is the biggest and therefore must be put in the back for easy access to all the plants. She towers over the rest of the plants at 26.5". Not a big plant I know, but the bud to branch ratio is amazing. She looks like she's slowing down though. Maybe she will have another burst of growth this week. I don't expect it though. She is well into flowering now. Ok, maybe not well, she is about a week behind everyone else in development, but that also means she stayed in Veg longer and got bigger. Sour Diesel D is still looking good as ever. She definitely stopped stretching. Shame that, I was hoping for a taller plant. But then again, she was originally the smallest, so I'm not surprised she's a small plant. Next run I'll ensure to use not only 5 gallon containers, but the whole nutrient schedule from Advanced Nutrients. I just don't have the grow from the base right now. I'll be getting that in a few weeks. She was also moved and took the place of C in the front right quadrant. It made the most sense to put her there. I was considering putting B there and D in front of C, but with the current riser setup, B is a bit taller than D. Honestly, A is the second tallest and I considered putting her in front of C, but it just didn't make sense. She stayed in the back where she has been. The lighting is a little strange to be honest, the DLI is definitely 45 mol/m²/d, but the plants are all reaching. Like there isn't enough light. Maybe there isn't. Maybe they like a whole lot of light. I'll test that today and see how they do. I'll just turn the power up to 100%. That should hopefully do the trick. It better. I'm still around 24" from the canopy. 21" from C. Also, moving them changed the position of the light for C and D. So it may help with leveling out the DLI. Also, raising the plants up to C's canopy will certainly help level the canopy light spread. The environment is still a bloody mess. Still over 60% humidity. However, the temp dropped to 74°. Right where I want it for now. I think I'll let it go up to 76°. Just below the threshold for trichomes. This strain likes a really warm climate and dry. I don't have the dry, so I really can't put the temp up that much or else I risk mold. Granted, I have plenty of airflow, so I shouldn't have to worry about mold or mildew or any pathogens. Let's hope I'm right. Anyway, we are looking at 4 well rounded plants. Not big, but I don't expect every plant I grow to end up being 5 ft tall in a 3x3 tent. These ladies are no different. I'm happy with a 26" plant. The rest aren't that far behind, so I can manage much easier. Happy days for me. As for nutrients, it looks like they have all taken well to the added nutes and increased doses. It shouldn't give any issues at all. Especially because I'm only using a third of a dose. I'm using living soil, or super soil, or whatever it is. It's hot. Lol. Update: Upon pondering and observing these ladies, I have noticed 3 distinct phenotypes. A and B are definitely a 50/50 mix hybrid. C is a straight up sativa dominant phenotype. And finally D who is completely indica dominant. It's quite interesting to see these differences and how they grew. Where A and B grew similarly hybrid looking leaves and kept their structure the same ( mostly from my training), C and D are polar opposites. C has the thinnest leaves and the longest branches. She definitely stretched like a sativa. D being the untrained one ended up with beautiful, fat green leaves. The internodal spacing is tight just like an indica. Her branches did not stretch much and the main cola is made up of quite a few of these short nodes bud sites. You can't call them branches as there is not branchy part. But there should be a branch. Oh well. Super fat cola coming my way. One similarity with all of them is their bottom. They didn't grow any bud sites half way down the plant. All 4 are like that. It's quite interesting. I would chalk it up to my training, but D did the same thing. The lowest node has no bud sites except for the top third. Don't get me wrong. They lollipopped themselves with out me interfering much. Plenty of room to work and top water if need be. Kind of like A. She needs a top feeding I think. I'll add recharge to the nutrients in a half gallon. Just to make sure the soil is moist all the way through. It definitely doesn't feel like it. She's so light compared to the rest. Weird. I'll keep an eye on that and update as needed. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 61.3% VPD: 1.10 kPa June 11, 2024 Not much going on today. It's picture day. Sour Diesel A needed to be top watered. She was entirely too light. She is still drinking the same as C, but still super dry. So she got a half gallon of water with Recharge in it. Just recharge though. No sense in adding even more nutrients when I'm just trying to moisten the soil. That should be fine. She also got a riser to match up with the canopy. Sour Diesel B looks great. She may need another riser. C hasn't stopped stretching apparently, so this little lady is being left behind. She actually hasn't had much to drink in the last day or 2. Her soil is still moist, but the reservoir is still very full. Sour Diesel C is still stretching. She's now 28" tall and I don't think she's done yet. I'm going to have to think about maybe super cropping to keep the canopy level and not too close to the light. I'll also run out of risers as well. We will see what happens over the next couple of days. She's also showing signs of clawing. Nitrogen toxicity, but I haven't added any nitrogen. Are there other issues that can cause clawing? Too much light? Too humid? It can't be the temp as that's fine and it can't be the nutrients. That would make no sense. Especially because she is the biggest and clearly will become bigger. Sour Diesel D needs a riser as well. With B still stretching, I'm going to need to either move the light up if I can or drop the power down. Dropping the power down will take away from some of the depth the light can go, but I won't get light burn or foxtails. I really don't want the light less than 20" from the canopy if I can help it. As it stands with Sour Diesel C, I may have to remove the exhaust fan and run it from the outside of the tent. It's fine, but I'm not really a fan of not having a carbon filter. And I'm definitely not a fan of not having the sound insulation from the tent. It's nearly silent in the tent. But a little louder outside of it. The light needs to be changed again. I need to lift the other plants first to get an accurate DLI. I'll do that later on today I think. The environment is a shame to exist. It's ruining the whole grow. I think the humidity caused a bit of stunting. It's way too high and should have been below 50% 2 weeks ago. I don't know what to do. I'm definitely going to have flowering problems. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.0° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.16 kPa June 12, 2024 It's watering day. Not much else though. Sour Diesel A needed a bit more top feed. So I filled the reservoir with .75 gallon and top fed the rest. She is thirsty. Not like reservoir thirsty. She seems to prefer the top feed. I think. Her buds are growing nicely. The pistils are now super fat. I can only imagine how dense these buds are going to be at the end. Another thing, she by far has the most trichomes. And I mean by far. She's covered in them. The next most covered is B. Sour Diesel C and D are about the same. Not much in trichomes. I expect that from C as she is a bit behind. Bud D should have plenty of trichomes as well. I'm very curious to see what happens in the end. Sour Diesel B needed no extra water on the top. She got a full gallon reservoir refill. Her buds are pretty big now. I wonder if this will be the first plant to finish up. Sour Diesel C looks absolutely wonderful. I think she stretched a bit more. Not much, maybe an inch or so. I didn't bother measuring her today though. I'll do that tomorrow. She also got a small amount of top feed today. About the same as A. Close to a quarter gallon. Sour Diesel D is looking great as well. She also needed no top feeding. Her buds are getting bigger along with the pistils. I may also need to snip a few leaves off. They got big and are covering bud sites. The lighting has to be messed with yesterday. The plants were praying really hard at 70% power. So I increased the power back to 80% and recorded a DLI of 50 mol/m²/d in the center of the tent. The outside is around 45 mol/m²/d. Before that, the center was 45 mol/m²/d. I guess it made that much of a difference. The plants aren't praying as much and have a slight lift to them. Perfect I think. The environment is still a hot mess as usual. I cannot for the life of me get the damned humidity to drop. It just hovers at 60% regardless of the humidity. Well, no. If the humid climbs at all, the RH increases as well, but when the humidity drops, the tent RH stays at 60%. It's maddening. And I'm super confused as to why. I have a 3rd dehumidifier I forgot about. I might put that in as well. But I doubt it will do anything. The 2 more powerful ones do absolutely nothing. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.9° RH: 59.6% VPD: 1.17 kPa June 13, 2024 Picture Day! I did a little bit today. Took some measurements, removed a few leaves here and there and rotated a couple of the plants. No watering today. The reservoirs are still full. It actually shows that this strain doesn't seem to need much water. Sour Diesel A looks great! She is 23" tall now and I think that's where she will be staying. Unless she isn't done stacking. We shall see. She doesn't seem to have lost any weight from the top watering I did the other day, so that's good. It means the bottom feed system is working correctly. I snipped a few leaves off her today. Just a few that were blocking other bud sites and overlapping other leaves. Plus it opened the canopy up a bit more for even better airflow. One great thing with this plant is her trichome production. It's insane. I can expect an extremely frosty plant at the end. Sour Diesel B has massive buds for her age. She isn't quite as frosty as A is, but she is a close second. However, the bud size makes up for the lack of trichomes for the moment. I'm sure she will be packing them on in no time. She is 21" tall and will definitely be staying there. One really good thing about her height and stature is light penetration. With such a shallow canopy, she will get all the way to the bottom of the plant, possibly even deep enough to not have any popcorn. We shall see. Sour Diesel C is looking great at her 30" height. I removed a few leaves off of her as well. She only needs a few. Just to open more light penetration and of course unblock previous bud sites. Her internodal spacing is perfectly on point. Especially because her buds should be a bit longer due to her sativa dominance. Sour Diesel D looks normal. Nothing really special to say about her. I popped off a few leaves yesterday that were covering the main cola and some of the canopy. But today was just a picture. She's also 23" tall just like A. But she should definitely be taller because of the lack of training I did. Oh well. Little baby plant. The lighting is staying the same. I have a feeling that my Photone app needs to be calibrated again. So I'm doing this by what the plants are showing me. All of them reached pretty hard at 70% power and 40 mol/m²/d. Then they were reaching at 45 mol/m²/d. They shouldn't be reaching at that level, so I'm only using the Photone app for reference for now. Currently the power is at 80% and all ladies are slightly praying. Just like they should be. Oh, I turned a few plants. Sour Diesel A got a quarter rotation. Just to give the most outside buds some light and get them away from the wall. Sour Diesel B also got a quarter turn. Same reason and to also adjust for fitting in the tent. Sour Diesel D was rotated a half turn to make more space and give the other side some time under the light. The environment is still unfortunate. Temp is fine at 76° but the humidity is at 62% and won't come back down. I'll continue opening the tent periodically to remove the humidity for a bit. The room is down to 55% and it's really nice out with the humidity being around 45%. Everything should be fine. But it's not. Damnit. But I'll work with what I have. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 58.8% VPD: 1.20 kPa June 14, 2024 Nothing going on today except for the Daily Picture. Other than that, a quick review of each plant. Sour Diesel A looks fantastic. Tons of frost and good stacking. The buds aren't that big yet, but I expect them to swell up in the next 3 weeks. That's how long the Big Bud is supposed to be administered. Sour Diesel B is catching up with A in regards to trichomes. Her buds are massive now for her age and size. She may be done a week or 2 earlier than the rest. I'll keep her in the regular schedule. Mostly because this should be a 6 week flowering period with a week of flush. Sour Diesel C is also catching up to A in trichome production. It's to be expected as the plants get further into flowering. I hope to see frost like A on all the plants. Sour Diesel D is the second frostiest her leaves are super sticky and oily. Sour terps all the way. I'm not getting any gas yet, but I'm assuming that will come with more trichomes and when they start to swell up and turn cloudy. I ended up snipping a few leaves off her today my just ones that were really covering a lot. And there are a lot of leaves that are covering. I just can't snip them now. But she is seriously compact and I'm not sure how well the buds are going to grow. I've found that tight plants don't have the best bud production. It's like the leaves just block everything. And because this plant hasn't been trained, the main cola is mostly leaves. Buds are kind of hard to see. Not the best outcome, but this is the experiment. She is the control. Lol. Not much of an example, but there you have it. The lighting stays the same. No changes at all. The plants are really liking where it is I think. Slight praying and a bit of a reach. The pistils are all standing straight up as well. I'm hoping this is a sign that they may need more light vs light stress. However, I'll need to measure the light distance at the beginning of next week. I'm topped out with the light now, so it will be a matter of either increasing the light power or dropping the light down a bit. But that's only if they are light hungry. I'll have to research. The environment was pretty good for a lot of yesterday afternoon. It was down to 52% humidity with the temp at 76°. It was great! Not perfect but still much better than over 60%. It's another beautiful day today, so the humidity shouldn't be all that hard to control. So far today we are back over 60%, but I don't expect it to stay that high for long. It should go back down to 52% in the next few hours. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 57.8% VPD: 1.23 kPa June 15, 2024 The last day of week 3 of flower. I did some last minute leaf removal this morning. Not much. Just some leaves that were being crushed by the wall and some overlapping inner leaves. Nothing crazy. A few from each plant. No watering today. They still don't need it. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but they all have roots showing now and all but one have wet bottoms. Sour Diesel A is the problem child when it comes to the bottom feed system. She's still lighter than the rest, but shows no signs of under watering or anything. The roots are growing right where the wicks are and that isn't normal. It should be the whole bottom of the container. Not really sure what to do. Maybe submerge the bottom again and see if it activates properly. Either way, the reservoir will be refilled tomorrow. Maybe I'll make a second batch for her and submerge her in that and let her soak it up. That's what I'll probably do. She's still frosty as ever which also tells me she's very happy. I feel like she could be doing better with bud production. They aren't as fat as I'd hoped. I know it's only the 3rd week of flower, but B has huge buds and has since she started flowering. Sour Diesel B looks great with her big ole buds. She suddenly got really frosty overnight, finally. I can only imagine how she will look in a few weeks. It's a 45 day flowering time, so we are half way there. All of the buds on the whole plant look fantastic. Even the lowers look promising. They will most likely be tight popcorn. I can't complain about that. It will just get pressed anyway. Sour Diesel C is the star of the show now. Just like B, she got really frosty overnight. Her buds are swelling pretty quickly now that we are in the second half of flower. I can only expect her to get much fatter buds in the weeks to come. Sour Diesel D got frosty as well, not as much as the others, but still pretty frosty. Her buds are starting to swell as well. It looks like this lady will be right on time. All of the plants look like they will be right on time. Except for B. She looks like she will finish early. Or not and will just be a massive plant of colas. I'll be adjusting the light if I need to tomorrow. I don't think I'll need to at all. The plants seem to be very happy with it. The environment is starting to calm now that the weather has cleared up. The central air has been kicking on earlier in the day so the humidity in my room has been hovering around 53%. The tent however, is still high at 60% humidity. But the central air isn't on yet. So I just open the door every hour or so. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.18 kPa

Day 49 from seed and we officially transplanted the girls were showing signs of nute defiency and have clearly outgrown their 1gallon veg pots. I used dynomyco for the transplant shock and will wait 48 hours before flipping into flower and placing a trellis net over the plants tucking all leaves below it. My soil mix for the first 4 weeks of flower is Dr. Earths 4-4-4 all purpose and dr earths 3-9-4 bloom 50/50 mix at 3tbsp/gallon.

Waited until the lil ladies showed the beggining of their 7th node, then topped them all back down to the 4th node

3/4 Day 16 Flower Changing PK to KoolBloom as the Peak has run out. Will work up the CT nuets to @10ml/gal or so as the burnt tips have proven kind of a red herring. 6/1 I'm anxious to get my plants in their final homes. Another 90 degree day today and then it will be cooling off with some showers. I plan to take advantage and utilize that to make the transition. I have some small burns on a couple plants bit considering the weather we've had its nothing. Temperature swings 50 degrees. I hope these girls do OK outside. I was tired and stoned last night and I accidently topped a plant I had already FIMed. Oh well. Transplants soon. Supports screwed in after the heat. Plants have been handling this weather like a champ. Big thick healthy stalks. UPDATE PUT THE PLANTS IN AROUND 730. Cutting down on light hours I'm poverty close to where we are. It was 95 today. Plants have suprisingly little burning. My fan was taken so they go without that tonight too. In the next few days it's going to cool down and that's when I'll transplant. Only thing left before transplant is sanitizing trellis and supports. Easy peezy. Especially if it's supposed to be in the 50s. And people dent climate change lol. I'm hoping that all this adversity makes my flower a higher quality. I'm glad to have the quantity to pick the best phenos for the BIG POTS. Im trying to stay excited but it's just so dumb hot. Oh well. If the plants can do it so can I. I'm planning to give them some kelp me kelp you next watering and may start some light organic nutes. 6/2 Phone doesn't like uploading my videos. Broke record high temp yesterday 95 and tomorrow we will break the record low 50. Plants withstood the heat well and are doing great. Transplant soon. They were a little light but I held off on the water. Plan on it tomorrow. May transplant tomorrow. I have several videos that haven't uploaded. I thought they did but I was wrong. Oh well. UPDATE: Forgot to water. Some were light and others could've held off. Did the half a powerade bottle ahain. A litt ke less on the heavier ones. However I'm looking to transplant into final homes tonight and into this weekend. I sanitized a fifty and a forty so my bags and two pots are sanitized. Cage is sanitized and ready and pallets are sanktized and in place. The 40 and 60 fit PERFECT in the small space left from the pallets. Plus the plants always lean the opposite direction so things should go smooth. Only thingvleft is sanitizing stakes, bamboo, plastic garden stakes and all the other plastic training stuff. I'll just soak it while I transplant. Gotta mix the soil first too though. UPDATE. Heat went higher than expected and hit 90. I figured I'd go back around three and screw in suppirt stakes and begin getting everything ready for transplant (i.e. supports, mix soil, sanitize trellis) before I transplanted tomorrow MORNING was what I had planned. Unfortunately we got a huge thunderstorm with a shot ton of rain and it's gonna continue throughout the night. I think this is God's way of telling me to take a break. I can get up early and get those support stakes screwed in. Then when I get back from the wife's doctor's I can do the transplants. I'm trying to break the labor up into manageable chunks. Looking at my other diaries I can see that my plantscare fine in their three gallon homes. It'd a little disheartening seeing such big clones that I started so much earlier on the other diaries. However I always was fighting SOMETHING (usually more than one thing) and last year was a shit show. At least this year I stay away from anyone else's cannabis any clones and I'm extremely cautious. I've seen my cousin out perform me multiple times with healthy plants like this I'm excited to see how it goes. I really needed the break anyway but tomorrow morning the stakes will be in. Hopefully they'll be outside. 6/3 Broke the record for low days after breaking record for highs. I saw it 94 yesterday and the day before. On the way to my grow at 6am it was 44 degrees and it's not warming up much. Fifties at best. Rainy. I left the door closed. The big door on the otherside got opened as the other end of the garage neededcto he used. If the rain let's up I'm going to set up the grade stakes so I can transplant in the morning and throughout the day. I think I'm going to light dep a couple of them and leave them in the 3's. We'll see. UPDATE: At 12:30 the temp today was 44. Yesterday it was 94. I can't believe this. Plants are doing great though and are in the garage under lights for the day. The BIG door was open part of the day. Didn't take any pictures (or even enter the grow area) as I sanitized the last 40 gallon pot and a bunch of grade stakes. I drilled the grade stakes to the pallets in the front. The first row is done. Just need to sanitize the plastic trellis itself and finish attaching the other grade stakes. I don't need the fill trellis up by transplant. I just need the bags to not knock over and have SOME support. I'll be back over there either to tonight to put more supports in or tomorrow when I actually plan to start transplanting. I'm getting excited. After dealing witb the stiff that I sanitized I didn't dare go fuck with my plants so I looked through the window. I'll finish sanitizing the net tomorrow. These plants look great. I'm wondering if doing the two diagonal I poles with zipties actually works. It would save me some kone for sure. I'll definitely update in the morning. 6/4 It's warmed up to a balmy 44 degrees. My plantsxare in the garage still. Weather sucks this whole week but after this heavy rain it should be perfect weather to transplant these girls. A little to chilly but it will warm up and I need to get this shit done. I'm trying to do to much at once. I need to just out dirt in bags and get them outside. I'm glad I waited until after this craziness. Breaking temp records for high one day then breaking it for low the next can't be good for the plants. I'll update what gets done today. I may mix soil or I might wait until tomorrow. It will let up some then. Plants still look fabulous 👌 6/5 50 degrees still raining like hell. Rain until Friday. Plants are inside under the onecworking light. Lots of indirect light through the massive windows though. I'm planning on mixing soil today and tomorrow and getting bags and pots half filled. Just trying to break the labor up into manageable pieces. It's probably a good thing I didn't put them in their huge containers before all this rain. UPDATE: MIXED SOIL 1/3 of each (FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST, HAPPY FROG, AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707). I prepared I believe 11 containers for transplant. I need to sanitize two more containers and I'm good. I got a lot done. Might go back over. Set up extra cams too. I'm excited. Talked to my commercial buddy amd he motivated me. No reason my plants can't handle this shit. I've just had massive personal shit going on. Friday is the next GOOD day but these girls might go out earlier. I'm checking the forecast. I'll sanitize the other containers in the morning and fill them. 6/5 Today is usually my watering day but shit still seems heavy so I'm going to hold off. Despite that i need to transplant. I think they're wet enough. I could do it today. Plants are looking good and weather takes a better turn Friday. It's not raining hard though. It's just sprinkle right now. I may transplant some today depending on how things go. I'll keep the diary updated. UPDATE: I went back over with the intent to just mix soil and let it acclimate. I decided to try to transplant one. I grabbed a 10th planet and started to go. I had done a bunch of manual labor already so i wasn't thinking. Of course the fucker was dry and didn't wanna come out ofcthe pot and the root ball pretty much decintigrated in my hand so I'm not sure how that will go. Tried again with the Blueberry Cheese Cake. I thought the roots just might not have been rootbound abdcthat could've been the case. After having another rough transplant I recognized I was tired, all the hard stuff is done and it's gonna keep raining until Friday. I wanted to transplant three and put them outside but with the wind and rain and the difficult transplant I let them sit under the light in the garage in indirect light. I had the doors open for a while. Should be open now but i don't want to have to go back over and shut it. Plus I'm not to keen on getting water on my light. Let's hope for a better day tomorrow. It's off and on and a nice rain though. It's 53 degrees at noon. I transplanted two 10th planet's into 20 gallon pots. I transplanted these two a little differently. I put the bags in there final spot I side my cage andctransplanted in the misting rain. The first one came out and seemed to be heavier on the bottom and broke off. I tend to "throw" them in the hole before they collapse. With my anxiety I suck at transplanting. Plus these plants haven't filled the 3 gallon pots with roots yet but i want hem in their final homes and its time to go outside. I transplanted the other two plants indoors and let them have days in the garage with the door open and the light on then protection from the elements at night. I've been doing this for awhile. They would all be outside if the weather wasn't so shitty. This rain is supposed to stop. I'm curious as to what will be the fate of the two plantsci transplanted and left outside. I'm praying and hoping for the best. I also put my back tarp up so I have a wind break between rhe buildings. I stopped working because I didn't want to fuck anything up. Anxiety disorders suck. Shut the door at seven. For some reason the two 10th planet's I transplanted (that fell all over the plant and I thought mightve broke it) look awesome lol. Despite the ridiculous pouring rain. It's going to let up soon and we are do fir some good weather. I'm trying to get everything (that isn't getting light depoed) into the cage. Four transplanted. Ten (I mean 8 more) to go.

All 3 plants cut and just Ozz remaining to dry and trim. Terrible outcome for #4 as I had to throw more than half of the plant away due to bud rots. I’m still really confused about what happened: the day before harvest I noticed and removed 3 bud rots from the plant - so far so good. All remaining buds were fine, but when trimming I realised every single top was maroon-ish at the base and I could clearly see a start of mold when opening some of them. Although I could clearly confirm what it was with a 30x lens, the white spots were extremely scarce and small (less than 1x1mm each time). It doesn’t seem really coherent with how it should have spread. Nonetheless, I didn’t take risk and threw away any bud where I could identify white mold with the lens, and put aside the ones where I had a doubt in pop corns (the “7g maybe”, cf below) to track the evolution. A quick summary of the harvest so far, will edit when I have some time: - Dorel: 250g wet, 37g dry / 17g trim (54g total) - #4: 450g wet, 33g dry / 7g maybe / 29g trim (62-69g total) + a lot thrown away due to bud rots - Ozz: only weighted the two bigger canopie I cut, 162g+142g≈300g wet. It represents around half of the whole plant (probably less, but stem included), so around 5-600g wet total.

April 12, 2024 Day 57 This week we will be focusing on defoliation. The last defoliation until flower to be exact. I don't plan on doing it all at once, but I'll be doing it throughout the week or when it's done. Whichever comes first. Banana Purple Punch A is about 22" in most spots with a few colas standing an inch or two higher. I believe she has for the most part finished her stretch. Not as tall as I had hoped, but there's tons of bud sites throughout, so it should be a pretty decent yield for her size. Banana Purple Punch B is slightly shorter at 21" tall with 2 colas being 23". Her buds are huge and fat. I'm expecting a really nice yield from her regardless of her size. I'm pretty sure her stretch has stopped now and this is the final size she will be. She may stretch another half inch or so in the next week, but that's it. Both ladies got a partial leaf cut today. Just cleaning up some clusters and larger overshadowing leaves. There's a couple more areas to work on, but I'll save those for the next trimming in 2 days. It honestly should only be about 6 days for the whole thing to be good. With Banana Purple Punch A having less to work on, she may be done next trimming session. Let's hope. It's really time to focus on bud production. The nutrients are going to change with the next watering. Banana Purple Punch A got a full reservoir refill, while Banana Purple Punch B needs another day. I'll top her off tomorrow. I'll be switching Big Bud with Overdrive and removing Sensizym. Tasty Terpenes will remain as well as B-52. I'll keep the new setup for about 2 weeks. Then I'll cut the dose in half for one watering before the flush. I'll be using Flawless Finish for the flushing cycle. I decided to increase the light power back up to 90%. It's the best place for the DLI. The center is about 50 mol/m²/d while the surrounding area is 45 mol/m²/d. The very edges are about 42 mol/m²/d. Overall it's a really nice position and I get to keep the 24" distance. I'm really enjoying this footprint. Also, depending on what happens over the next week, I may have to drop the power back down or lift the light up as high as it can go. I may lose an inch, but that's perfectly fine. The environment was a bit wonky for the last couple days, but now it's back to an acceptable range. Today it's at 76° with a humidity of 55%. The VPD is 1.33 kPa. Again, not the most ideal for this stage. It's fine though. The humidity will drop later this afternoon and the VPD will raise up to about 1.42 kPa. So everything is good there. April 13, 2024 Absolutely nothing to do today. No clipping of leaves, no watering, no light lifting, nothing. Just took some pictures, checked over the plants and that was it. I'll look for leaves to trim tomorrow. If I even decide to trim anymore leaves at all. I might just leave Banana Purple Punch A alone. She seems to be done stretching along with Banana Purple Punch B. So I guess from here on out, I should probably just leave them alone. So tomorrow with be the last day. As I said earlier, the lighting need not be changed. The ladies are praying. I think this is where the light will be for the rest of the grow. Updated Correction: I ended up cutting some leaves off today. Not a whole lot, but there were clusters I missed and a couple massive leaves that were overshadowing several bud sites. It's all about the angle of view. I only have one way I can look, so it makes trimming a bit of a pain. But that should be it from now on. Maybe a bit more tomorrow. We shall see. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 52.0% VPD: 1.32 kPa April 14, 2024 As I said yesterday, today is the last day of defoliation. So I dug nice and deep. I didn't take off as much as I thought I would, but I'm sure I'll find more this afternoon. Anyway, I had the intention of doing a full defoliation, so I was looking for anything that could be done away with. Lots of power clusters from the younger foliage growing and spreading. I think I will end up removing the SCroG net today or tomorrow. I may do it this afternoon before I check for more leaves and pull each plant out and finish the defoliation then. I'll also clean up the outsides of each plant to help keep them more compact. Mostly leaves that are sticking out too far. Those that touch the walls and overlap each others bud sites. It's early afternoon and I have removed the SCroG net and did a nice defoliation. Both plants got a decent amount of leaves taken off. Nothing crazy, maybe 15% came off each plant. With the net off and the ladies trimmed up, there is plenty of deep light penetration and air flow. Banana Purple Punch A is actually filled in the center now. For the most part. After removing the net, the middle branches came in a bit, offering ample light penetration for the tops that were behind the middles. I've also noticed that the internodal spacing is pretty long on her. Very spread out. But all the buds are big and fat and covered in trichomes. Not quite super frosty yet, but getting there. Banana Purple Punch B opened up quite nicely with her defoliation. Not much changed in branch placement with the net off, but the defoliation opened up a ton of space for ultimate light penetration and air flow. She is also covered in trichomes. Also not frosty yet, but definitely getting there. I checked the DLI today. It looks great at 43 mol/m²/d. Not the 45 I was expecting, but the center of the tent still hits 51 mol/m²/d. Not to mention that the two Tropicana Cookies I have sharing the tent several taller tops than these ladies by about 3 inches. That leads me to have a slight issue. I would prefer the light be at 45 mol/m²/d for these ladies, but if I lower it, the intensity will be too much for the other plants and their taller tops. Lifting the plants up may be the only option. However, it's tops that are taller. The canopy is still just over the net. And that's for all of the plants in the tent. So I'm just trying to figure out what to do. I'll decide this afternoon, after the net is removed and the plants are all trimmed up. I can also get a better idea of what the canopies look like and the amount of tops that are taller. Honestly, the best canopy is from Banana Purple Punch B. She's the smallest, but has the best structure. The canopy is nearly perfect compared to Banana Purple Punch A who is more spread out with tops in a range of heights. Not so level. My training may have been a bit off for her. Still nice and open though. She definitely didn't grow as I expected either. Inner branches didn't stretch as much as I would have expected. So this plant would have benefited a wider canopy. To help get those center auxiliary branches could keep up with the outers. Nothing to be done now. But for future reference. The environment is doing pretty good today with a temp of 77° and the humidity just over 54%. The DLI is looking really good as well at 1.44 kPa. Perfect for this stage. I would prefer to lower both the heat and the humidity. The heat should be around 75° with the humidity under 50%. The DLI would stay the same though. And that's the goal. 1.44 kPa and a temp of 75°. I'll match the humidity to the temp for the DLI. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 52.2% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 15, 2024 Not as wordy as yesterday. It's watering day! Except for Banana Purple Punch B. She is nearly full still. I soaked the bottom of her container to kick start the wick system. This kind of happened with my last run. One plant just wouldn't take water in as much as the rest. It was also the smallest of the plants. It's interesting that for some reason she started slowing down her water intake at the flowering stage. It's still way too early to do that. Anyway, with the net gone, I finally got to clean the basins out. Well, I cleaned the one for Banana Purple Punch A. It was empty. For Banana Purple Punch B, I mixed the solution and cleaned the wicks. They were definitely clogged. I changed the nutrients to 8 ml of Overdrive and removed the Big Bud. I was supposed to remove the Sensizym as well, but forgot to. I'll remove it next watering. This will be the final regimen for the rest of the grow. I am a bit concerned with the 8 ml dose of Overdrive. It may be too much to start. I should have started with 4 ml. Oh well, I'll be able to fix it pretty quickly if there are any issues. All that being said, everything looks great! The plants definitely look much better without the net. As well as being much more even around the canopy. The lighting was not changed yet again. I'll double check the light tomorrow. I may do it later this afternoon. I'll see how I feel. However, I don't think it will need any movement. The environment looks really good today. 75° and 50% humidity. Looking great! Pretty stable as well. I will say the night temps are a bit high. It's about 71° to 73°. I'd much rather see the temp at 66° to 68°. Especially during the flowering stage. Update: I lifted the light an inch and left the power alone. It's a bit all over the place with the canopy definitely not being level. Like it should be, but now it's at least in the 40's and not in the mid 50's. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.3° RH: 50.2% VPD: 1.45 kPa April 16, 2024 Not much going on today. Banana Purple Punch A looks great. She may need watering tomorrow. I'll double check this afternoon. Banana Purple Punch B on the other hand need water today. The dip in the basin worked wonders and kick-started the wick system. She's definitely drinking now. She may slow down a bit once the soil saturation rate levels out. Neither plant needs any maintenance today. I didn't bother pulling them out. I don't think it's necessary to pull them out daily if I can avoid it. I'd rather leave them to grow those buds as much as possible without any disturbances. I will pull them out tomorrow though. Just Incase they need anything done. It'll also give me a better idea of what I'm looking at when they are in the tent. It's a tight fit with 4 plants in there, and it's really hard to tell them apart where they meet up. They are all touching each wall, but definitely not as bad as it could be. Looks like a perfect fit to be honest. Their buds are huge. And haven't really started swelling quite yet. Lots of trichomes. I'll start posting trichomes pics next week as well as individual plant pics. They are too big to really tell apart in the tent, so I'll do the solo pics instead. The lighting didn't need to be changed. I believe this is where I'm keeping it for the rest of the grow. At least until the last week. I'll drop it down a bit for the first half of the week and a bit more for the last half before harvest. For now, the light stays at 45 mol/m²/d and 24" canopy distance. The environment looks great today. I finally got the temp down to 66° last night. It has climbed up to 76° today. The humidity has been stable at 51% for most of the time. It climbed a little bit yesterday, but hasn't showed signs of climbing at all today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 52.3% VPD: 1.32 kPa April 17, 2024 A little to do today. Both ladies got a reservoir refill and Banana Purple Punch B needed a whole branch pulled out of the way of other tops. Looking good now. I will say this strain has some super strong branches and stalk. I didn't pull Banana Purple Punch A out today. No need. I can see through and around her. Looking good as well. I still haven't changed the light. No need at this stage. Another week or 2 before I drop the light power down to 70%. In theory, if I'm right, that should bring the DLI down to about 38 mol/m²/d. The final week will have the light power at 60%. That will be roughly 35 mol/m²/d. And that's the final light schedule. The environment is back on track with the night temp being around 67° with day temps climbing back up to around 76°. The humidity is still really stable at 51%. I'm not sure I'll be able to drop it below 50%, but I'm going to try my damnedest. 45% is where it should be now. It's just tough to get there. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.0° RH: 50.0% VPD: 1.40 kPa April 18, 2024 Not much going on today. No water needed and no sense in changing the light. Instead, I lifted Banana Purple Punch B up one more riser. Now she is perfectly level with the whole canopy. Should have done that in the first place, but you never know. I've come to the conclusion that this run isn't the best I could have had. The plants aren't up to where I would have liked them. I've been monitoring container size for a while now and I can tell you 3 gallon containers. Don't generally produce large plants. I prefer large plants to shorter ones. Even though larger is not always better, but I have learned from my mistakes and I find that 5 gallon containers are the best bet for a larger plant. I mean, I could just be doing it wrong and got lucky with a few larger plants, but I feel like I generally get better plants with the 5 gallon containers. I'll do a side by side at some point. For the next run, it's a contest, so I'm keeping all the plants in 3 gallon containers. If I have enough soil, I'll do 5 gallon containers. Anyway, Banana Purple Punch A has some taller colas, but the internodal spacing is pretty long, so the branches aren't covered in buds, but the buds that are there are getting really fat. Banana Purple Punch B has more bud development, but is significantly shorter. They have the same amount of branches, but they just grew differently. She also kept up with the wick system, so the bottom of the container is nice and moist with roots showing throughout the bottom. A little too late for that, but still good for strong bud development. As I said earlier, I didn't mess with the light, but lifted Banana Purple Punch B up to canopy height again. The light is seemingly a bit too bright in some areas, where the super tall tops are. I may decrease the power back down to 80% in a week. Then down to 70% and then 60% and maybe even 50% if need be. The DLI for these two is now finally 45 mol/m²/d. The environment is a little wonky today. Well, at least for the morning it has been. It should fix itself later today. The temp is around 75° and the humidity is a bit high at 55%. The VPD is low at 1.33 kPa. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 53.3% VPD: 1.33 kPa

Things have been coming together very nicely, packing on very nice frost, buds have been foxtailing not too much but just enough, in result I lost some density to the buds which I don't particularly mind (my preference). The Terps are really nice and has simplified compared to last week when they were ever-changing. They know boast a black Cherry Punch forward Superboof flavor. Notes of ripe/rotten dank black cherries with that classic Superboof Orange rind/dankiness. The leaf rub gives a more sweeter black cherry wine almost smell with hints of bubblegum. Very nice change from the usual candies you see constantly nowadays. This is a dank one, every morning I wake up to the dank dank aromas of this plant filling the house. Quite a beautiful thing if I may say. All in all, one of my most favorite grows I've done too date! She's getting close to harvest if day another 2-3 weeks at most! Gonna check on trichomes soon but she's absolutely covered in trichs! I'll try and get better pictures!
