14/02/22: the plants have had their final defolitation so they can really concentrate on building bigger buds in the final weeks before harvest. Some colas look ready and others not... have had to add my garden sticks to support the plants.

Put the cutting into a solo cup with damp soil in it. Now it's just a waiting game

Day 79 28/12/24 Saturday Light 1L de-chlorinated tap water, with added big bud and bud candy 10ml each to 5L. Girls were looking hungry for potassium. Did a final defoliation and lollipop today to get rid of the new formed larf trying to grow 😅, Day 80 29/12/24 Sunday Running 1L only de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Colours now coming through 😈 Picture update 📸💚 Day 81 30/12/24 Monday Ran a feed through today, dripper system 1.30min. using again de-chlorinated tap water , base nutes and additives. Just letting them cruise along now. Hopefully they dense up and start adding a bit of size on. Pushing them pretty hard seem to be taking it. 900ppfd and 2.5 ec only just showing tip burns on one. Seem to be holding nitrogen. 24 to 25 degrees and 50 humidity most the time.

~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/1- Week Three of veg is here for the pair of 'Testers' from SSSC/Dutch Passion Seeds. Both 'Testers' continue to do exceptionally well despite temp's in the greenhouse reaching just over 90℉ at the peak of the day. Both continue to show great vigor, color and are both constantly 'praying'! 5/3- Watering both continues every 2-3 days depending on what the plants want. Both girls are looking like champs! 5/5- Today I watered both with 8oz. of well water, to which I added 1 tsp. of Uncle Willies Worm Tea Concentrate. 5/6- Well fam, the Third week of veg is in the rear view mirror for these two beautiful 'Testers' from SSSC and Dutch Passion. Unfortunately, I have to go out of state for 7-10 days because of a family emergency, so I won't have pic's for next week. I will have a family member looking after the plants in the greenhouse to make sure all survive until I return! Heeloo everybody :) After huge problems on veg, finally we start blooming :) First day after older ladies break into flowering. Right now they are on 12/12 lighting cycle and they just get the final boost of nitrogen. When the girls were at 10 level I cut them down into 5, 4 and 3 level or 4 and 3 level. I had also erased all the bottom levels. After removing top level I waited 3 days and removed the lower one. The stem had maybe 3 cm but I decided to try and make a clone off it, just as an experiment. I was super suprised when I saw some roots after only 10 days :) Grow Medium - Biobizz light mix + with acid humus + dolomite + perlit + Great White Shark ( when transplanting) On the bottom and top Plagron Coco 60 - Peebles 40 Check the lamp, it's something really innovation in my opinion. https://bilberry.pl/en/home-page/

Day 71 - 27.1.20 noticed swelling of calyx. checking trichomes everyday. Day 72 - 28.1.20 watered 3l with 2ml bloom, 2ml bud candy and 2ml flawless finish. Day 73 - 29.1.20 checking trichomes, sugar leaver a good 30% amber, calyx trichomes all milky. Day 74 - not sure when to harvest or prep them for harvest Day 76 - shes getting more into fall, some more leaves yellow-pink; more swelling but also some new white pistols :) she's a sweetheart.

Growing medium : 4.5 gal Mo'koko 3.75 gal Promix BX 0.75 gal Worm casting 0.75 gal perlite 2 1/4 cup GaiaGreen 444 Lightning @ 70W 18/19 dec: Put seeds in water for 24 hours/Paper towel in ziplock bag 20 dec: Planted in pots (with domes) 22 dec: Girls showed up 27 dec: raise to 80w. Tested soil PH and it's to high at 7.5. Adjusted my water to 6.2 to decrease it.

WEEK 12😍 This AU is doing very well, im just studying and learning best time to harvest sativas like this. Maybe first ?? 1 one week first? 5 days?? dunno we will study it through microscope and daily checks. I think surely another week but i could change my mind this week if i decide to give her more sativa effects. UPDATE : i will harvest tomorrow 9th october with 5-10% ambered trichomes

About the question i asked some weeks ago on growers help, about the plant with decoloring problems (Photos 7 & 13), where i've choose the defoliation answer as the correct one. Watching the plant today, I would say that it can be an excess of co2 in the roots caused by a co2 tablet that I used during the first days of growth. You can notice how the part of the plant in the back does not present de decoloration it have in the front. Also remarking what i've told last week, i must say the SCROG is not a true SCROG, as some colas begin below others, and also colas are of different heights among all plants. Anyway i'm very happy on how everything is going. En sobre la pregunta que realicé hace unas semanas sobre la planta que tenía una decoloración (Fotos 7 y 13), en la que escogí la respuesta de la variegación. Viendo la planta a día de hoy, yo diría que es un exceso de CO2 en las raíces causado por una pastilla de CO2 que usé durante los primeros días de crecimiento. Al fijarse bien se ve como la parte trasera de la planta no presenta las decoloraciones y sin embargo la frontal si. Para tener una idea más o menos certera del tamaño de las partes de las plantas, tened en cuenta que la red está fija a 24 cm de la parte superior de la tierra de los tiestos. También remarcando lo que dije durante la última semana, he de decir que el SCROG no es un SCROG real, ya que las colas no empiezan desde la misma altura ni son de la misma altura, ni las plantas son de la misma altura. Pero yo estoy muy contento con como va la cosa, vuelvo a insistir que es mi primera vez con foto-dependientes indoor, mi segundo armario indoor y el tercer cultivo de mi vida, y por supuesto la primera vez que aplico o intento aplicar las técnicas de cultivo.
