Grow Diary – Day 79 (Flowering Day 59) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Flushing – pH-adjusted water only Lighting: LED at 50% intensity Date: May 30 Status: Final flush in progress – harvest slightly delayed Today marks Flowering Day 59, and the Sour Frootz are now well into the ripening phase. For the past three days, only pH-adjusted water has been given, initiating the flush phase. At this point, the nutrients in the soil are nearly depleted, and the plants are naturally drawing on internal reserves—visible through gradual leaf yellowing and fade. The plants are approaching ideal harvest maturity. The delay in harvest by a few days allows more amber to develop and maximizes terpene maturity without compromising overall quality. Lighting Conditions: • The LED is currently running at 50% power to gently finish the ripening process while minimizing light stress and preserving essential oils during these final days. Started bringing them outside 20° - 24° Celciious , getting them hardned to the wind.. i bring them back under grow light to continue the light cycle.

Beginning of the week: I started feeding her nutrients. Megacrop. 0.5 grams/litre. End of the week: third megacrop feed. 1 gr/litre. Transplanted to 3.8 L fabric pot.

Fatting buds

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

Dec. 11 - Week 10 begins with a fresh sachet of Cucumeris and lots of plain water. Dec. 15 - I have removed the majority of the crispy leaves. Watering is a slow process now, 5ml takes almost 5 minutes to absorb into the soil, and about 25ml before there is any runoff if the soil was allowed to dry at all, like when I sleep. During my waking hours I just give it 4-5ml here and there as I go about my day. There are a few trichomes showing up so she's still progressing, still growing. This is such a hearty cultivar, it's a shame Humboldt Seeds may be retiring it, but excited for what the'll introduce next. Dec. 17 - While applying the first bit of water today I noticed something moving on the can, often it's a droplet from spilling, but this was different so I looked closer. It was what I assume to be a fairly young thrip (3-5 days) being harassed by a couple cucumeris, something I presumed was happening, but never actually thought I'd witness. Unfortunately for the cucumeries I squished the bugs they were after.

So I am starting the tiny potter grow for the contest. Hopefully the seed germinates quickly, and grows well. I scuffed the seed as seen in the video. I then placed it in a cup of water. I will be putting the cup of water with seed in it on a Spider Farmer germination Mat with controller. To hold a steady 80°F. When she sprouts I will place her in the grow space. There she will be under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light in my autoflower room. best cannabis I ever grew and smoked. Others agree. This is a cup winner I would win with no competition. 3 months harvested, 90% consumed. Will run more genetics and future cross, backcross. Feels like energy drinks, positive, 100% youre high and lit, extreme ripped. Smell is slight citrus, this is very sweet tasting and smelling because of my methods of growing. Oozing sticky like an industrial adhesive. Daytime smoke, ripped no couchlock. For heavy daily smoker this is above your level of comprehension, good luck finishing 0.5g session. 10/10 all categories. 4 months after harvest video macro, this is what 40% looks like

Still not touching the plant or setup and just letting it be pretty much. Did a full tank water removal and started to add some Calcium Magnesium as I'm seeing some deficiencies on the leafs. So far this setup has been incredibly easy, haven't had to do anything, no topping, no training, etc. Could have used a scrog to keep the main branch a bit shorter but it looks like it should work out.

49 days!!!! The girl looks great, she is healthy and happy, although it was quite a rainy week, she ignores all this and continues to grow calmly:) It's true that I already wanted the beginning of flowering :D I used LST on the girl this week so that she wouldn't be too visible to the neighbors :) although it is legal in my country, I still try not to disturb the surrounding neighbors:) good luck to everyone;).
